Jul 2, 2012Preparing to backup my iPhone to my computer, I saw there was an uupdate available (5.1.1). When I cllicked to update a message window popped up saying,
"There are purchased items on the iPhone "Mac User's iPhone" that have not been transferred to your iTunes library. You should transfer these items to your iTunes library before updating this iPhone."
But how do I ascertain what hasn't been traferred and where, and how would I do that transfer?

Feb 8, 2010I feel silly for asking this question but I've spent an hour now googling to death how to transfer ringtones I've puchased from iTunes onto my iPhone 3GS. I've done everything possible. I've renamed the files to M4R as suggested from m4u. I've just dragged onto the iphone in devices and not in the music library or ringtone library and nothing. Under the Ringones tab on the iphone when connected to iTunes shows no ringtones.

Apr 10, 2010I'm having a problem getting ringtones from itunes onto my iphone. I purchased about a dozen ringtone sounds and also bought the ringer. They show up in itunes under ringtones but don't show up on the phone even after I sync. I have everything automatically syncing. I'm running the latest version of iTunes & am current on my phone software. I'm on Windows.

Apr 18, 2012My iTunes library is perfect with all artworks for every album and songs. Since not long ago, on my iPhone 4 I started to miss some of the artwork on my phone. The artwork is in iTunes all good but it won't transfer over the phone or ipad.
What I tried to solve my problem so far:
-Soft reset the iPhone
-Hard reset the iPhone (holding power and home button)
-Restore the iPhone from backup
-Change the artwork in iTunes for a new one (Refresh it)
-Try to paste an artwork on the iPhone via iTunes in the devise section using command I on all the album.
-Look for third party software like Tuneup to get the artwork.

IPhone :: Purchased Songs Keep Showing Up After Being Unchecked And Deleted On ITunes Library?
Apr 11, 2012I have about 6 or 7 songs that I want to permanently delete from my iTunes library and iPhone. They keep showing up even after I've unchecked/deleted them. I've used the manual option and selected the artists, genres, etc. that I still want, but the deleted songs keep appearing. I bought these songs off of the iTunes store I didn't use my iPhone. I don't have the iTunes Match option turned on my phone, nor do I use iCloud. I don't know what else to do besides manually selecting all of my songs and putting them into a folder, deleting the blasphemous songs that I don't want anymore, deleting my iTunes library and resetting my iPhone and copying the songs from the folder back into my iTunes library.

Apr 23, 2012i am stuck in a tricky situation and would things first i know this is quite a frequently asked question as i have done a bit of searching on the net about it however could not not find anything that totaly matches myproblem, i have recently purchased a brand new laptop which runs windows 7 compared to my old desktop which ran XP, i have tried syncing all of my iphone 4s contents onto my new laptop's itunes library including everything not just music or videos and i got the infamous pop up "The iphone is synced with another Itunes library. Do you want to erase this iphone and sync with this Itunes library" the problem is that my original itunes library does not exist no more as my desktop was completly wiped and had XP redownloaded onto it again because it had a virus, which also wiped all of my hard drive so i cant even get everything i backed up off of my phone from it, i have managed to sign in to the itunes store and allowed my laptop to work with itunes,i have also transferred my purchases from my phone to my new itunes library but this only includes my apps and obviously not my contacts and photos and everything, i still get the pop up if i go to sync my apps from my library anyway, is there any way i can delete my original itunes library without it even existing anymore so that i can just start afresh and sync everything i have on my phone now directly to my new itunes library? or do i need to purchase this iphone rip/backup/store software that everyone goes on about or something? to be honest its really annoying my now as i just want to be able to sync everything like how i used to,

Yes I have dowloaded "iBooks" and when I go to Newsstand these books do not appear. Fist of all I had down loaded the books from iTunes>Store On my Macbook to load into my iPhone.
