get a blackberry playbook to work with my torch.....the question i want to ask is, can i transfer apps from my phone to the playbook, or do i have to freshly install them to my new device..

When I try to sync with my laptop it only offers media sync and the gives a message that I have not selected media to sync.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9810 and PlayBook..Torch 9810 7.1 bundle 2061..Blackberry Bridge 2.1.0.26..PlayBook OS 2.1.0.1088..BES is used..The Bridge connects to the PlayBook and will allow remote control and bridge browser to be used. However, although the email, text and BBM alert icons appear on the PlayBook they cannot be opened. The Bridge contacts and calender will also not open on the Playbook.When attempting to open Text messages on the PlayBook the notice "Text Messages was disabled by IT policy" is displayed. There is no IT Policy in place.When attempting to open BBM on the PlayBook the notice "You must accept the BlackBerry Messenger Licence Agreement on your smartphone to use BBM on your PlayBook". It has been accepted on the phone.I've tried unpairing, rebooting both devices and repairing to no avail.

My school e-mail is weird because when I go inside everything looks exactly like gmail but it isn't exactly gmail beacuse you can't sign on from www.gmail.com. Gotta go through the school website. My USB connector from my Curve has been working intermittently since a couple of days and before running into more problems, I bought a Torch. I realize now that the USB connector from old Curve doesn't allow me to transfer data to my Desktop Manager. I'm looking for a way to transfer the most I have in my curve (address book, emails, notes, passwords, etc..) without my USB cable. I've been trying to hook up the 2 phones with bluethoot, but it asks me some kind of access key number of the new Torch (which I completely ignore). But even if I would have that access key, would this work?I may get a Bluetooth adaptor for my PC, as I have read that we can transfer data to Desktop Manager that way, but would have to buy such adaptor - not expensive, but if I could do it directly from 2 phones?

I have the 'raw' .jpg.rem files from my old phones mSD card on my computer I have access to the old 2gb mSD card but the images were deleted. I have tried backup-restore via desktop software etc... but it's not copying the complete list. Tried to do it at AT&T store but that just duplicated the 425 contacts that I all ready had. I go into application managment and its there. For example, the facebook app does not show an icon and I cannot find it even in a "universal search". Yet when I go to application managament, it says its properly installed. I recently did a full wipe on the device including 3rd party apps and still it does the same thing.
