Mar 20, 2012If I select a certain folder from my pc to sync with my razr, will it wipe what's on the razr and replace with the selection from my PC. i just want to add certain pics to my phone. I have figured out various ways to do this withouth using Motocast but it's rather unwieldy.

Nov 28, 2011I never had a problem with previous phones. For email you can attach pictures from the RAZR with no problem, but on multiple websites on the browser, it does not work. For example try to upload a pic onto tineye.com with the RAZR and it has an error, but my droid 2 & samsung fascinate worked fine in the past.

Sep 28, 2012This is odd and Motorola Tech support has no idea.For some reason photos taken in portrait end up in lanscape and upside down (sideways) to recipient when sent via MMS. I have sent test pics to myself and three other phones, HTC, Bionc and S3 they all recieve them in lanscape. this didn't happen with my old T-bolt! Portrait photo's were sent and received as portrait.Motorola could not not confirm if this is an issue as they have nothing noted. They didn't have a phone with service to test. They want me to do a full restore and then send the phone in if that doesn't work. I want to make sure this issue is just confined to my phone before I go down the replacement road. I'm still with-in my 14 day Verizon return time and if this is an issue for all M's, it's a deal breaker.Can someone text an mms picture to themself taken portrait and see if they recieve it in portrait? That would be very beneficial for both myself and Motorola.Not sure if it matters but my phone askes me if I want to resize photo every time I try to send via text.

Dec 27, 2012I plugged it in to the computer tonight to see what exactly was in the double folders that I can see in the gallery. My computer can't even find the device. Went to Moto's site and downloaded drivers and installed them. Nope. Cannot find device. Ok. Son plugged his phone in - nope no device found. My computer runs XP. His computer runs Win 7 and he also has a Maxx with JB update on it that he got the same time I did. His opens Motocast and that is it. No drive letters. So on a whim, we took both phones to my granddaughter's computer running XP also and hers found all the drives on both phones. Is there a setting I am missing? We didn't change anything when we went to her computer..just plugged it is and it found the device and opened all the drives.

Jul 22, 2012When I open my Phone App, I have Favorites, Recent, and Dialpad catagories. What was Motorola doing NOT putting Contacts in the Phone app. I'm really unimpressed by ICS and actually prefer the previous OS.
Bluetooth functionality doesn't work well. There's so much idosyncratic about this OS that I personally do NOT like.
It seems that this release is typical of a manufacturer letting their user base beta test the OS for them.

Nov 27, 2012I've had this razr maxx hd just beyond the verizon "no worry" 14 day period and now its turning off and restarting on its own. It seems to hapen if Im texting and an email comes in but not totally certain. Is this something I'm just going to have to deal with until 4. comes out and hope JB doesnt hav the same issue? Verizon will replace it but with a refurb...Lets see..I bought it btand new 17 days ago, and they want to replace it with a refurbished phone

Dec 6, 2012I currently keep the power button set to end calls. During a speaker phone call the screen goes off (as expected). The only way to get it to turn back on is to hit the power button, which ends the call. If I change the settings to have the power button to not end calls the screen will come back on and I could switch out of speaker phone. Is there a way to get the screen back on while leaving the power button to end calls?
