I decided to try sending the pictures via email and they came through full size 1632x918.Why are they so small via the USB connection? Did I not do something correctly when transfering them?

However, less than half of my Gallery pictures made it over. Because the Gallery is a stock app and not in the marketplace it is not on the the above market transfer desktop application.I also have astro and estrong on my device.

Need turning the vibrate pulse off. Its when swiping to answer incoming calls only. I have vibrate turned off under settings.

I just took a ton of awesome pictures at an art festival, got home excited the check out how good they were, and ALL but 2 are gone. Never saved. I have no idea why, I didn't close out the camera app too fast, each photo moved down to the bottom left as a thumb before I took another, or closed the app. Any idea what's going on? Any way to recover these great pics? This is really a pain as I have also lost great concert videos as well.
View 3 Replies View RelatedGot a D3 for the wife as she was getting tired of the OG Droid and one of the selling points for picking the D3 over the DX2 or DInc2 was the camera. She gets to keep the form factor she fell in love with on the Droid and gets to upgrade to the new D3 as well as getting a better camera too? She was ready for the upgrade. Well now it's buyer's remorse as the camera is useless. The flash washes out the pictures in a blue hue and that makes the colors all wrong. At first we thought it was the phone's display, but it's not as we saw the same nasty blue hue on the computer after transferring the pics. With the flash off the colors are right but the image is grainy. Outside the images are certainly the right color but a tad pixelated. This blue hue is even in video recordings when the LED is used. Something has gone afoul here as the Droid had a better pic quality and the proper colors but the D3, the latest and greatest offering, doesn't? What gives? can it be fixed?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI never had a problem with previous phones. For email you can attach pictures from the RAZR with no problem, but on multiple websites on the browser, it does not work. For example try to upload a pic onto tineye.com with the RAZR and it has an error, but my droid 2 & samsung fascinate worked fine in the past.

I spent 4.5/hours with customer service agents from Verizon to Motorola. They concluded I needed to exchange my brand new phone after a factory reset and several "cache and data clearings" did not work.
The new phone is doing the exact same thing. I thought I could just deal with the contacts being blurred, until I tried to upload a profile pic onto Skype & I couldn't make it out.
Factory reset does not work for this. Nor does clearing the cache/data.
This is odd and Motorola Tech support has no idea.For some reason photos taken in portrait end up in lanscape and upside down (sideways) to recipient when sent via MMS. I have sent test pics to myself and three other phones, HTC, Bionc and S3 they all recieve them in lanscape. this didn't happen with my old T-bolt! Portrait photo's were sent and received as portrait.Motorola could not not confirm if this is an issue as they have nothing noted. They didn't have a phone with service to test. They want me to do a full restore and then send the phone in if that doesn't work. I want to make sure this issue is just confined to my phone before I go down the replacement road. I'm still with-in my 14 day Verizon return time and if this is an issue for all M's, it's a deal breaker.Can someone text an mms picture to themself taken portrait and see if they recieve it in portrait? That would be very beneficial for both myself and Motorola.Not sure if it matters but my phone askes me if I want to resize photo every time I try to send via text.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently dropped my Droid Turbo and after picking it up, saw that my screen no longer worked at all and it began restarting itself and playing the "Start up" sound effect over and over. I have important contacts and pictures on this phone and I'd really like to be able to save them. So far I can (sometimes) see it is attached to my computer, but I can retrieve any files because I can't turn on media sharing due to the broken screen and continuous restarting.
I have already gotten my replacement from the warranty I bought from Verizon but I'm unable to connect them to transfer anything. I have also already switched over the simcard and it seems nothing was saved on there either in relation to my contacts or pictures. (If that's even what a sim card is for?)
When I download my photos to my computer, a few of the photos are accompanied by duplicates, each about 50KB or so. Their names do not begin with IMG, like the other photos, but are just a long string of digits. It happens with both still photos and videos, but not all of them, just about one in ten. I didn't do anything different with those photos, and can see no reason for a duplicate to be made.
Very strangely, the duplicates have different dates from the originals. For example the original was taken on 15th march, but the duplicate is dated 18th march.
This only started happening recently. Probably when I upgraded to Lollipop. What might this be?

View 1 Replies View RelatedDifferently from most of mobile phones, the LG MX240 is no more supported by LG. It's an old phone and I got some pics on its memory that I need to download on my PC. The problem is that it requires a software for the data transfer and even after a long internet search I can't find it.The LG manufacturer is no longer giving support for this product so I can't download any related software from the LG site.
The USB cable is not a problem once I alread got it and it's working fine (I know that because Windows recognizes it with, although it fails to install a driver)If anyone knows an alternative link or torrent or even any other way for helping me out I'd be so glad.
I connected my iPhone 4 to my computer via USB and waited for the "box" to come up to transfer my pics from my phone to my computer~the little "box" never came up,,,,,,disconnected and tried again but with no luck
