I just received my x2 yesterday. When gmail arrives on the phone, as soon as it appears on my computer it disappears from the phone. Is there a setting i need to change?
View 3 RepliesI can't get gmail pushed to my phone. If I initiate a sycn or go into gmail app and refresh the mail comes through with no problem, but I have to initiate the action. Gmail always pushed gmail to my phone in the past.

This was a pre-existing problem before but it was solved by checking USB debugging (or vice-versa). But after the software upgrade to 4.0.4, I get the blue-screen-of-death and the computer crashes every time no matter which setting I choose for the USB debugging. This makes it almost impossible to transfer files between my computer and phone.

I recently switched from the HTC one M8 to the Samsung S6 edge and have not looked back since. Samsung really does make terrific phones.One thing I was curious about, that I noticed recently, was that when I plug headphones into the phone, the little headphone icon appears in the top left corner and says that headphones are now connected and then the icon and message disappear. Coming from the HTC one M8 I am used to the headphone icon remaining there the whole time my headphones are plugged in and was wondering if this is normal for it to prompt me that the headphones are connected and then disappear?
Also, on a, possibly related, side note, having weird issues with the spotify app just crashing or pausing for no reason? I was thinking that it was either due to notifications I was getting, a bad headphone jack, or maybe the app is just bugging out.
My phone turned off. When I try to turn it on, the logo appears for about 5 seconds and then dims and disappears, then appears for another 5 seconds and disappears again. Keeps on doing that. I have already tried pressing the home button and the sleep button at the same time. The same thing happens

View 5 Replies View RelatedCan anyone help? I am/was one of the lucky N97 owners my phone was relatively stable - well anything would be if comparing it to the N96!!! However, since I upgraded the software to latest version way back in November, 2009, I find my phone memory disappears daily. I have transferred everything possible to E Mass Memory and have also backed up and reinstalled the software, but after doing yet another scan of the C Phone Memory I see that I still have 39MB Other Files - which I have no idea what they are or indeed how to get rid of them. Each day this file gets larger, and eventually it will take up all the memory on the Phone again. A problem which happened with the previous version so that it just would not work at all. The last version of software has given me more memory to use, but if I don't resolve this problem I will run out of memory again before too long.
View 4 Replies View RelatedZ5 Compact. For some reason, the text input field in the Messaging app keeps disappearing. I can be texting someone back and forth and then, completely at random, the text input field at the bottom vanishes making it impossible to return a text.
Only solution I have found to this issue is to restart the phone and the Messaging app goes back to normal. Phone has been fantastic other than this and would be super if I could get this very annoying issue sorted.

Hence, outside of the buildings the phone generally keeps 3G signals without any problem. Checked it with another 3G capable GSM Operator's line but nothing changes. I wrote the author to see if i can get a fix.So i thought of another solution. Maybe i can put a bluetooth dongle in the laptop and somehow install a virtual keyboard in the computer so the phone can see it as a bt keyboard. View 6 Replies View RelatedEvery time I connect the XPRT to my computer, it performs a long drawn out process. One the phone it reads:
1. Connecting usb or mass storage
2. Preparing SD card
3. SD card safe to remove
Steps 2. and 3. are continually cycled back and forth for at least 10 minutes. During this period I cannot access any of the data on the phone via the computer. Once the cycling is complete and the notifications menu reads "SD card safe to remove," it functions normally. The entire time I have the USB connection set as "USB Mass Storage." Other than that I do not have any problems transferring data to and from the phone, however, it is frustrating that it takes so long for it to connect.
I don't know if this has been posted. I'm using an application that I use at home screen. When I plug the phone into pc to charge the application disappears from home screen, I suppose the hard disk is disconnected, but when I unplug the phone it doesn't appears more. Sometimes I have to add it to home screen from the list but sometimes the application doesn't exist in the list. Any ideas? The application is SPB Weather but I don't know if it's a symbian issue or spbweather issue.

I accidently used blackra1n on a 3.0.1 iPhone 3G and it put the phone in recovery mode and that's all the iPhone is doing now... The phone is NOT recognizing that anything is plugged into it now... Before doing this the computer did recognize the phone.Also, the power button is broken.
