May 3, 2010Last night my iphone randomly had no signal, so i turned it off and then on again, to be shown the "connect to itunes" recover mode. It is a jailbroken 3G running custom 3.1. When i try to restore in both recovery mode and DFU mode it does so before returning an error code 1014 at the final stages,(due to conflicting basebands or something). Have tried downgrading to itunes 8.2 and tried pwnage but still no further forward. Any suggestions?

When I plug the phone into pc to charge the application disappears from home screen, I suppose the hard disk is disconnected, but when I unplug the phone it doesn't appears more. Sometimes I have to add it to home screen from the list but sometimes the application doesn't exist in the list. Any ideas? The application is SPB Weather but I don't know if it's a symbian issue or spbweather issue.

If I hold the volume button and the power button, the phone vibrates and the led stops blinking indicating that the phone powered off. I can then power it back on and it vibrates and the led starts blinking again indicating it is powered on, but the screen remains completely black and does not show any boot up animations or respond to any touches. The main button and the power still working, as I can see the white light turning on and off as usual after pressing them.
And after click the power button once (which turn off the display), the screen remains black.
The phone is actually still working, as I can ear it ringing or receiving messages and email.

I get this same error code when trying to set up my visual voicemail. When someone leaves a message I get that 122 Error as well as another error sent from 1000000000 that just has a garbled message. My VVM has been reset twice by at&t and I have been told that everything is provisioned correctly. I was hoping that .214 would fix this issue but still it persists.

1. entering a PIN - I didn't set one
2. unlocking with my Google account - I don't have Internet and I cant use this. I can neither turn my data connection on nor enable my wi-fi because I can only see the lock screen.
This is how my phone is somehow soft bricked, because I can't do anything with it. I can only reset it by removing all files and settings from recovery mode but I want to save my files. So, the question is how can I recover my files in this situation? Here are all of the details:
- my phone is not rooted
- I can enter in download and recovery mode
- I DO NOT have usb debugging on, I can't use ADB
