I have a new and unknow icon on my screen that appears only when I make phone callsIt is located on the upper right side of the screenIt is a little white rectangular box, in which 5 small "stars" are positioned in a diagonal line, blinking as I make the call.

It's appears to be a golden globe (almost like that of the web browser icon - which was what i though it was related to) with a number 1 next to it just as if it was a message or social network notification. Does anyone know what this icon might be and how to possibly get rid of it?

I have 37403473 bytes free before the battery pull and after replacement i have 38160293 bytes free after replacement. the applications i have are verizon backup assistant, BB core app, BB system software, BB app world, BB attachment service,japanese characters, korean characters, maps. BBM, simplified chinese, traditional chinese, brickbreaker, browser, documents to go, ethink memory, email setup, facebook, memo pad, myverizon, password keeper, phone and tasks.I do not know what a bt model/version is.
My problem is that I cannot make phone calls. my phone will say connected and the person's phone will ring but when the call is 'connected' neither one can hear the other. the only time i can make phone calls is after a battery replacement, if i have the phone plugged in i may be able to answer for up to an hour, but with it just sitting off the plug it may only be minutes. but it does not disconnect phone calls, i can be on the phone for an hour, without being plugged in and i can continue with the call.
my screen died but I can make and recieve calls manually. I did a successful backup but now I want to view my todo lists, contact lists with info, databases and all that stuff...is there a way to open this from the backed up files?

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy 8900 turns on the red light when I pop the battery in, I press the power button and the screen turns on but just shows white. After letting it power on for a few minutes I call myself (by using a friends phone) and I can answer and talk.
I searched everywhere. The computer can read the PIN #, just in case though I wiped it and reloaded the OS. Bought a T6 screwdriver, took it apart, disconnected then reconnected the display cord then turned it back on and same old white screen.

View 11 Replies View RelatedHere's the deal.. I was driving today and all of a sudden my phone just stopped working.. I saw a notification saying I should restore my phone or contact apple.. My phone still powers on, I still have my custom lock screen and all but I can only make emergency calls and access SBSettings which doesn't actually work anymore. So I tried to restore the the custom firmware and itunes keeps giving me the 1600 error .. I have heard iReb can fix this but I dont even know if its compatible with the 3GS for this issue.. I have tried but its kinda confusing and hasnt exactly worked..

View 9 Replies View RelatedI use Sprint and everytime I miss a call the Messages icon appears and does not disappear until I open the messages folder and open the missed call message. This is incredibly annoying for me, as I usually just press the send key and see what calls I have missed. Doing this does not clear the messages icon or notification.
I really dont need missed calls sent to Messages, the only reason I ever use the Messages folder is to clear the icon from my screen.Can anyone help me either disable this icon or alter what is sent to Messages?
I recently noticed a new icon on my phone that only shows up when making calls. It shows up in the top right hand corner of the screen and looks like the service signal bar graph only reversed w/ the larger bars on the left and getting smaller moving right. They also have a white plus sign at the top of each blue bar, background is a black box. Anybody have any idea what this is for and why it only recently came about?

It is slightly smaller than the yellow envelope, seems to be a grey envelope, with a black 'seal' and a tiny red circle on the top right corner which may have the number '1' in it - all very difficult to see.I've checked all my emails - all empty.No RIM messages either.No BlackBerry World updates.Removed battery & rebooted.

APN: WAP.CINGULAR
Username: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1
After these settings have been restored I am still unable to send and receive a picture message. Things that I have tried: Battery Pull Uppercase and Lowercase entry for my TCP Settings I considered doing a factory reset but I don't want to lose my brickbreaker high score

It also has a red circle with a white star indicating there is a new message or something. When I click on the status bar it brings up all the other indicated messages or calls in the list but there is no list to correspond with this icon. When this showed up I had no Bluetooth linked to this phone so I don't think that's it...
