Dec 11, 2014My iphone 4s screen is stuck on a picture of the usb plug with an arrow pointing toward the itunes icon. we discontinued our account with at&t and need to reset this phone to factory settings. I pluged it in to my computer but nothing happened. Brought up itunes, nothing. No reset instructions and the screen never changed. When we originally tried to clear out the info it told us we had to update itunes and we did. Now......stuck.

The camera doesn't work. I open the camera application with both methods (button on side and icon in apps) but it does the red dot thing in the corner for about 4-6 seconds then disappears and applications tells me the app is running. I try to go to the app but it wont go on it.
Problem 2:
The green key, dialler and contacts icon on the home screen do not work at all. I have no way of opening my dialler as there is no option for it.
I updated my firmware to v40.0.005 last week. Please be aware the problems were both there BEFORE i made the update and are still here after the update.Is there any way of doing this without soft/hard resetting. Also, does soft/hard reset mean you lose the data in an app (eg your high scores in a game like bagatelle)?

I basically can't do anything on my phone because I can't type in my password. Do I just need to fix the screen or does this mean I have to get a new phone? Mainly, the cracked parts of the screen don't work. The top of the phone works, but the middle and bottom don't work at all.

Jun 2, 2010I have an icon on my 8520 which is a little circle with an arrow going in. Looks like a red star on the outer circle where the arrow crosses the circle. At the moment it has a 1 next to it also. Kind of looks like a firewall for mail? That is a complete guess on my part though, anyone have an icon like this? I have also lost my caller ID but think this is not related and is my provider rather than phone settings, they are all correct.
I recently installed the "mylookout" application with the AntiVirus scanner, not sure if it is connected with this at all?

Jun 19, 2014basically when I open an app the top of the screen is disabled and doesn't work. So for example when I go into Safari and if I were to go on the search bar it won't do anything its the same with the app store and every app that has a search bar at the top of the page. I also cannot open my instagram direct messages at the top of the screen. The screen will respond in the home menu but not in apps. The iphone was second hand so it could be dodgy but I wouldn't have thought it would be because of that.(iphone is running ios 7.1.1)

Motorola Droid Razr :: Motocast Shortcut Icon Corrupt - Doesn't Work
Feb 22, 2012Wasnt just a mere week ago, I had un installed and re installed the Motocast Software; all was fine til about a day or two ago when I noticed that my Shortcut icon of Motocast is no more; want a pic? I'll upload it in a min.
Well once again this is my weekend and again I usually use Motocast on my days off and lol once again I'm having issues. Tried playing back a video file but alas stops within 30seconds. I play again and it stops within 30seconds. Or Ill start to play a file and it takes seconds upon seconds upon seconds just to play the video file.
I do enable Wifi prior to using Motocast so I wouldnt think it has to do with that; but I am pretty sure that when my graphic shortcut icon goes corrupt so does my actual application for it to work properly.
Question is, why does it keep happening? Is it because my Windows Operating System performs some sort of update and causes it go haywire?
