Recently i've been having problems with the email that i've set up on my phone. I can send email but cannot receive it.I have a blackberry 8330 curve and am with verizon with V4.5.0.I've been reading other posts on othere forums of people having the same issue but they didn't really help at all.I did the battery pull many many times.I just don't know what wrong with it. also my world app doesn't show any application installed. i can deal with that once i get my email to work..

I've checked my settings several times on both my iPhone and iPad and then are consistent with what account settings I have set up on my imap email account on my computer. Has anyone else had this problem recently? I upgrade to iOS 5.1 and it apparently screwed up my email.

Over the last 2 or 3 days, I've stopped receiving notifications of new email when my phone is locked. I've been on the most recent OS for a while and have not changed any settings. Everything is switched on in notifications for the messages to flash up but they do not?
When I receive an email I still get the familiar bing, but no visual?

I recently restored my iPhone 4 from the iTunes backup. Since this time, my emails have stopped working even though the underlying account still operate ( btinternet.com) and my iPad still operates ok.

It used to work fine, but now it tells me that either the user name or the password for my email account is incorrect. I have checked this in Settings, and re-entered my password (and indeed all possible passwords), but it's still telling me it Cannot Get Mail. Do I need to delete this account and reinstall it?

All of a sudden my msn email is not working on my iPhone. I deleted the account and added it back with hotmail and it keeps telling me the password is incorrect. I used my computer to check it and it works fine there.

But they don't play on the phone. I deleted the original files before overwriting, if that helps clarify things. I have been trying to figure this out all afternoon and I am about ready to sell the iphone and get a Nokia or something.

I deleted and re-setup the email account twice and now I only receive automatic emails from servers like apple and outlook. The SMTP settings are great and I can send emails with no problem. I have tried resetting the phone(home and sleep/wake buttons) and I have completely deleted the email account on the phone and set it up again twice. The settings are correct. I am not receiving any error messages at all. The problem is the phone is not downloading any emails from the POP3 server. The Only emails I have received since I setup the account again has been from Apple to let me know my password was reset, and one from Outlook to let me know I had tested my settings on my laptop. I am able to send/receive emails on my laptop using the same pop3 server. I have changed the Fetch New Data settings to every available option and it has not made any difference. It connects to the server and says its updated but no emails show up.

I am attempting to setup my website's email on my new iPhone 5s iOS 7.1.2 .... I have Yahoo! setup and working perfectly. But when I attempt to setup the new email account using the same exact settings that are on my iPad - I get an error that says the username or password is incorrect.Â
I have rebooted the phone and no luck. I have attempted to setup the account as both IMAP as well as POP3... and get the same error message. I know that this is a situation that the password is correct and the error message isnt telling me what is really going on.

I have E63 and I have been using Nokia Email on my phone a few months now without any problems. (Have been using Gmail and Ovi mail) However last two weeks it somehow stopped working properly.
1. I can still send emails properly.
2. "Sent" folders sync without problems. Also, for example if I send an email from Ovi website from PC, I can see my message in the Sent folder.
3. Mysterious empty "Inbox" although I haven't deleted messages. They just disappeared. And no new messages come in. I tested a few times by sending emails from PC but nothing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my new Nokia E72, happy with it overall, just a couple of niggles (apart from the build quality), which I'd like to check with more owners of this phone. When I press the EMail shortcut key, on the top right side of the keypad, this shortcut doesn't open the general EMail "folder" where I can see my GMail, Yahoo!, and Hotmail email accounts, instead it opens my Yahoo! email account directly, and I have to go back to the general "folder" to see my other email accounts.
I've tried playing with all the different options, but so far cannot make it work as I think it should be, which would be to go to the main EMail "folder", so I can choose which EMail account I want to open/synchronise, and not just opening the first EMail account I set up. Also, is not downloading the "Sent Items" folder, even though I chose "All" in What to download.
