All of a sudden my msn email is not working on my iPhone. I deleted the account and added it back with hotmail and it keeps telling me the password is incorrect. I used my computer to check it and it works fine there.

My iPhone and iPad quit receiving email as of yesterday morning at 0830. I have received about 100 since then to my Outlook PC mailbox. I've checked my settings several times on both my iPhone and iPad and then are consistent with what account settings I have set up on my imap email account on my computer. Has anyone else had this problem recently? I upgrade to iOS 5.1 and it apparently screwed up my email.

Since we both updated to 5.1 iMessage doesn't work, anyone I know who hasn't upgraded past 5.0, iMessage still works. Any ideas. Auto time update is on, on both handsets, it's strange as it was working for a few days after the update then it suddenly stopped one afternoon and hasn't worked since.

But they don't play on the phone. I deleted the original files before overwriting, if that helps clarify things. I deleted and re-setup the email account twice and now I only receive automatic emails from servers like apple and outlook. The SMTP settings are great and I can send emails with no problem. I have tried resetting the phone(home and sleep/wake buttons) and I have completely deleted the email account on the phone and set it up again twice. The settings are correct. I am not receiving any error messages at all. The problem is the phone is not downloading any emails from the POP3 server. The Only emails I have received since I setup the account again has been from Apple to let me know my password was reset, and one from Outlook to let me know I had tested my settings on my laptop. I am able to send/receive emails on my laptop using the same pop3 server. I have changed the Fetch New Data settings to every available option and it has not made any difference. It connects to the server and says its updated but no emails show up.

I am attempting to setup my website's email on my new iPhone 5s iOS 7.1.2 .... I have Yahoo! setup and working perfectly. But when I attempt to setup the new email account using the same exact settings that are on my iPad - I get an error that says the username or password is incorrect.Â
I have rebooted the phone and no luck. I have attempted to setup the account as both IMAP as well as POP3... and get the same error message. I know that this is a situation that the password is correct and the error message isnt telling me what is really going on.
