if i am at home and connected to wifi my iphone 4s will send e mails and receive them if i am at work and connected to the wifi or anywhere else 3g then i can receive e mails but not send them!!!i am with talktalk i have asked talktalk vodafone and apple and it still not sorted

My phone will only connet to the internet when the wi-fi connection is working. I can have a full signal for text messages and calls but when i turn the wifi off, i cannot connect to the internet or use the app world.
does anyone now how to fix this or know how i need to direct the settings or to see if the settings have been reset or something?
my iphone is charging when it is connected with adapator but it is not working when it is connected with computer.

Since I got my iPhone 4S when I text my wife her replies come under my old hotmail address name. Very strange indeed. I have tried deleting her as a contact and then renaming her but still the same. The old hotmail address isn't even listed as one of my contacts?

I have this inconvenience with my wi-fi on my mobile. I just got it brand new the other day and have been happy with it. But it seems my wi-fi is always connected with my home router, even if i disconnect it, it reconnects a minute later. I have wifi syncing issue. I used to connect with my two computers, one is my home PC (win7 64bit), the other is my office Macbook Pro (Lion). My iphone's itunes library is on my home PC, I have checked "Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi" on itunes options. In general, wifi syncing is working if iphone connected to my home PC only with USB.
At office, I used itunes on my macbook pro to listen iphone's music. So, I connected iphone to macbook pro with USB, then loaded my iPhone's music. (not push sync button). At home, I plugged my iphone into charger generally, then turning on itunes that couldn't find my iphone 3GS for wifi syncing. For resolving the issue, I need to sync with USB once, then it would work again, but it's so annoying.

I bought a Nexus 5 about 15 days back. I am very happy with the phone - except for the fact that I face difficulty connecting to my Home Network in particular. My Windows Laptop, My wife's iPhone and iPAD connect to the same WIFI almost instantaneously. However, my Nexus 5 phone keeps saying "Obtaining IP Address" endlessly. At times, it says "Weak Signal - Cannot Reconnect" and gives up. However, all other mobile devices show that the signal strength is good. the phone does connect to the WiFi after sometime by itself.
I do not have this problem when I am at my office. It connects immediately to the WiFi in my office.

I bought an iPhone 3G off eBay back in August 2010, and it's been okay up until a few months ago. It started breaking at the top so I had to sellotape the lock button on, but I'm not too bothered about that.
Recently, I must've fallen asleep leaning on it and the home button stopped working (after it had started being a little faulty and not working every now and then for about 2 weeks previously), and I woke up the other day to find a crack on the screen, and a few days later, another crack. I'd already had a very small one right at the bottom.
Even more problems now, it's very difficult to get my iPhone to charge. I think I've broken something on the inside to make it charge, and I'm pretty sure it's not the charger.
The problem is, there isn't an Apple store very near me, and I'm not sure if it's under warranty as I got it off eBay, but I doubt it is. Does anyone know how much it would cost to fix it, from a shop in a market? If push comes to shove, I can go to the Apple store but it is quite a way away.

For the second time in a month, the home button on my iPhone 4 stopped working. First, it stopped intermittently, then it stops entirely. Last time, I powered my phone off and it was fine - until today. I'm syncing now so I don't lose any data, but this time, I think I am going to reset it in iTunes to see if that helps.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I got my phone in February of 2011 so it isn't covered by AppleCare, but apparently the hardware is covered under a thing I did at Verizon. Should I just get a fresh phone, even if it is another 4 and not a 4S?
Home button not working completely. I have tried restore n set up as a new phone as well. Is there a hardware problem?
