May 28, 2012It seems that I have an iPhone that had the password changed and then forgot so ended up locking the phone. Once locked I was advised to go to the Apple store where they said to connect to the original PC, but that machine is no longer available (hard drive crash and wipe). There is no back-up available, so how can I reset the password to access the phone? And then sync (or transfer) the iPhone to a new computer? Any special needs to complete a backup at this time?

Apr 20, 2011My 9300 menu is blocked and I have not possibilities to move in the menu to achieve the full reset has describe.I already tried to remove many times the battery but no way, the situation remain the same acces to the menu exept the "screen menu" which unfortunatly don't contain the tools. Is there a possibility to pass through Desktop or another buton ? What about the hole inside next to the battery, does it is a complete rest point ?

I'd correct a word and if it said "would you like to add 'es' to the dictionary" (or whatever I had typed in) I just said yes. Now it keeps putting in these non-words and I can't get rid of them. I've seen the threads where people point out where the dictionary is found in other O/S's but not this one. I've also seen people post that you just highlight the word and you'll have the option of deleting it from the dictionary, no so on my phone..

Sep 9, 2010A friend gave me their old Blackberry but it was used for his work email and was set up with a password just to access the phone. He doesn't remember the password. I put a new sim card in, but is still asking for the password. We tried 4 different ones. On the 5th it warns you that your program will be deleted. We haven't tried the 5th password. It we do will it erase information in the sim card?
Is there a way to clear everything out of memory and reset the Blackberry to it original defalut settings.I tried pulling out the battery with the phone on, but that doesn't do any good.

One of my customers called me tonight saying she found an iphone in her front yard next to the sidewalk yesterday. She and her husband have iphones, and they have had the thing plugged in for a day on their charge cables, and haven't gotten any calls on it, and want to know if I can find out who it belongs to. The phone is locked, and I've talked to AT&T and they won't help me at all, and they won't take the phone and try and get it in touch with its owner from the card or anything.
Any help here? I know how to jailbreak etc, but I don't want to do a restore because I'm afraid it will lose the owners name for good then. I have a couple of iphones, and the darn things are anything but cheap, and I'm sure someone somewhere will want it back.Can I take the sim card out of it and get any owner information on it by plugging it into my jailbroken iphone or anything?

Apr 8, 2012I inherited my IPhone from my girlfriend after she upgraded. I've managed to change it to be linked to my apple ID rather than hers. I encountered a problem when wanting to use/upgrade some apps that it asked for the password for her apple ID and password rather than mine, which i remidied by just deleting and reinastalling the various apps. iMessage was always turned on on the is phone, but it was acting up so I turned it off and when turning it back on again it asks for her Apple ID and password, not mine. Is there anyway to change the account?

When I go to the home screen, and click the menu, then options, it gives me settings for Home Scren Preferences. But there are no owner options. Just home screen preferences. I can make and receive calls and download apps so I'm confused by what could be causing all of this.

Apr 12, 2010Hey guys so i've had my ATT Nexus one for about 4 days now and I absolutely love the thing. I've a few problems though. First my call quality is apparently pretty bad, I have full 3G ATT service in Pittsburgh and i routinely hear the people i'm talking to say sorry can you repeat that. Also I've been getting texts a few hours after people send them. Finally I'm having a really hard time getting used to the onscreen keyboard.
Now I came from an N85 which obviously had a physical keyboard and the first two issues can easily be blamed on ATT's network. I was wondering if these are common issues however and if they will improve over time, in regard to typing. I assume it will but its been about 4 days now and i'm still no good at all, maybe I really suck with touchscreen typing?

1) internal GPS does not seem to operate. Even on GPS data application (and the GPS data application is NOT where the manual says it is)
2) I am having difficulty in setting up the phone in the same manner as my E63, can I just copy applications across using the PC based system? I have a number of things setup on the E63 such as synch to Google contacts & Calendar using exchange
3) the clock 'screen saver' time is tiny compared to that of my E63, how can I make this larger?
4) how to change between predictive and normal text input (ctl spacebar on E63)
5) what are "audio themes" and what would I use it for?

Is that a "new feature"? It'd be nice to display the owner info if I accidentally leave my berry somewhere and all the person has to do is touch a button to display the info.

I was thinking about a custom theme or something, I really need that info/owner to be shown in the home screen, locked or unlocked.

Jan 5, 2010Just dropped off my new Bold 9000 and I feel like a kid at Christmas. The CS was right when she said it would be early this week. I am so looking forward to exploring everything about this device. I thinkg I will wait a little while befor I install OS 5.0. I am coming from a Curve 8310 so this device is bound to be a vast improvement. I want to download a couple of apps. that might be beneficial to me.
