How do I get rid of email address of previous owner on a Yahoo app? I'd also like to know if anyone knows how I can get an app similar to redlaser on the Blackberry for shopping. Is email easy to get set up? How do I back up all my contacts & stuff online? I'm trying & it's not backing up.
I have a second hand blackberry curve. The previous owner thought everything had been cleared but I started receiving his emails the other day. I took the phone into a phone shop and they cleared the phone again but I am still receiving his emails. When you go to email setup the only address/account showing is my email, so I can't just disassociate the phone from his account that way.
I have bought a bold 9900 via ebay. However, when I registered it with vodafone New Zealand, they told me that this phone is still in contract with the previous service provider, so they can not start new service for me. I contacted with the seller on ebay but it seems like he can not help me. How can I remove the previous BIS service of the previous owner now?
I recently purchased a previously used BlackBerry Curve 8330. The user who had owned it before me did not clear his information (including the email, Internet, and BBM settings). I do not know how to remove his information so that I can put mine in. I have tried to go to Email Settings and logging in, but it says my login isn't valid, so then I click on Create New and it tells me I cannot create a new account because there is already one on the device.
Removing a device from a previous owner’s account. I have done step by step from support apple web, but it does not work. Can I solve this problem with other way?
bought a pre used phone for daughter but previous owner didnt clear blackberry id and we havent a clue how to reset without original password and cannot contact previous owner.
I just recently bought an iPhone 4. After I erased all content and restored to factory default, It asked about an iCloud activation which was linked to the account of the former owner. I asked the owner about this if she could unlink this device from her apple ID but she forgot her old apple ID and the password. Is there some way I could unlink this to the previous Apple ID?
I want to Synchronize my device address book with yahoo's
After experiencing some problems I decided to start from cero and deleted all contacts of my yahoo address book. I then synchronized with the Blackberry desktop manager (arrow pointing out in both directions) and loaded all data from the device (address book) to yahoo.
When I do changes using my PC directly in yahoo and then sync with device all works apparently OK, e.g. if I modify a name adding a surname that will be synchronized correctly in the device, however the changes I do in an existing record in my device with the sync won't be done in yahoo.
What shall I do to have all changes done to my device's adress book in the yahoo account.
I inherited my IPhone from my girlfriend after she upgraded. I've managed to change it to be linked to my apple ID rather than hers. I encountered a problem when wanting to use/upgrade some apps that it asked for the password for her apple ID and password rather than mine, which i remidied by just deleting and reinastalling the various apps. iMessage was always turned on on the is phone, but it was acting up so I turned it off and when turning it back on again it asks for her Apple ID and password, not mine. Is there anyway to change the account?
As soon as I have registered my Blackberry on the BES server an acknowledgement is sent to the user . The in coming and out going mails are saved after the activation mail.The previous mails and meeting invitations does not sync to the device.
Earlier today, my BB started doing something weird. When I get a new email, I highlight it and press the trackball to open it, but it opens the previously received email instead. If I hit the back button (taking me back to the email list) and then hit the new email again, it still takes me to the previous email. The only way to open the new email is to scroll up to the date and then back to the email, which will then open the correct one.
Also, if the new email is highlighted and I delete it, it deletes the previous email instead.
I've tried a battery pull and it doesn't help. I'm on a TMO 9700 running OS .330.
I had everything working fine on 5.0.592 for a week or more. I tried to restore some contacts from a prev backup and now all the sudden my email functionality is messed up. I have it linked to my GMAIL acct. Things I noticed since that contact backup is now when i go to delete a message, it will not prompt to delete from device only or device and inbox Also I can hit reply on some, but when I go to send, there is no send option. And lastly when I delete from my phone, it does not mark as read or delete from my inbox. i checked all the settings I can find. But nothing changed.
Morning cb community...I've got a weird issue going on...not an annoyance or deal breaker just curious. Anyways lately and randomly my phones ringtone for my yahoo email goes off and there isn't an email. It vibrates and the berrybuzz led and color goes off too. The weird thing is is that there isn't even an unread email indicator with the number. The phone just goes off. Its weird. I've done battery pulls and stuff. Any thoughts? It just has me wondering. It doesn't do it for my sprint.blackberry.net email just my yahoo email.
Have setup Email on the Bold 9900 to access Yahoo Email. access to the Inbox is working fine. How do you access the other folders in the Yahoo account?
I have my incoming Yahoo mail filtered to different folders, so I have new mail in different folders, which at present I can't see on the Bold.

I am a website owner hosted by Yahoo! Smallbusiness service. I set up an email account with my own domain name, configured it with BIS plan (uses BlackBerry Bold 9000). The issue I encounter is to receive emails with Yahoo!Smallbusiness within 15 minutes. I have made a contact with Yahoo for many times. They insistly mention this is being caused by BIS or / and GSM carrier. Good. That's a fact. However, I configured a Gmail account, so it seems that I don't get down with my Gmail account.Is there anybody out there to give me a hand on what's going on with my email delaying because I'm exactly tired of wrestling out with the problem. You may ask "Is it a problem for you having emails in 15 minutes?"... Yes, It is... I am sure that many people have a website owner and they're aware how important it's to reply their emails fast. My previous smartphone (is it OK to reveal another brand name here?) is already pushing!
I'm trying to set up my personal email on the 9700, but it seems that i have only one option, Blackberry Enterprise Server option. Is that suppose to be that way? I don't seem to have the " I want to create or add an email address" option.

My Yahoo e-mail account won't delete. I wanted to remove my Yahoo account on my 9780 and went into setup to delete it. It no longer shows as a listed account in the setup menu but it still appears as an icon on the homepage. It's still active retrieving messages. I tried rebooting by removing the battery to no avail.
I can send yahoo email but not recieve yahoo email since turning my blackberry on when i got off plane. Taking out battery again to reset did not work? I can see emails from my laptop.
In Yahoo, I have about 30 subfolders under INBOX, and rules establlished to drive the incoming emails to specific folders. When an email comes in that is routed to a subfolder, Yahoo enboldens the subfolder as expected, howeverr the email does not show on my BB. It is unlikely that I will be opening "folders" on my BB every 30 minutes to check all of the subfolders for new email.
Just found that there is no longer an option to reply using a different email address on the 9700. On the 8900, after you press reply, the top line says "send using" and you can click on that to choose which email to reply it with. Anyone know how to solve this issue?
My brother gave me his old storm. I put my t mobil account chip and bought the data plan and most of the features seem to work (I think).My brother's email is still in the email button and blackberry can't connect to the email server so that I can delect his email and put mine.Also when I make a call the 'My number' is showing my brother's number.
Is there a way to correct this. Does he need to unregister somewhere. Does he need to go to his carrier Version to change something?
I have the new 9700, its two months old and its a really great phone-brand new btw. but there is no e-mail icons for the aol folder and the yahoo folder? is it missing? i sent the service books-but that didnt work.
I'm the proud owner of a Bold delivered today, (software V5.0.0.545) running on the Vodafone network in the UK.I've set up my Yahoo email on the BB and under Email Reconciliation have selected "Delete on Mailbox and Handsets." My BB is receiving the Yahoo mails but if I delete an email on the BB it still appears in my Yahoo email inbox.Is there full synchronization between BB and Yahoo mail or have I made an error in the set-up? If Yahoo cannot synchronize will using Googlemail enable me to synchronize emails?
in Email Account Management, I can access my email settings with my BB username and password, a new BB device is detected, and I can select to move my email account, but I get the following error after I enter my email password and choose "activate.":
I own a Bold 9930.I've noticed that my device doesn't completely sync with Yahoo email.If I read an email on my device, it is marked as read on Yahoo.However, if I read the email on Yahoo, it doesn't sync with the device - the device copy of the email is never marked as read.I used to have full 2-way sync.I contacted Yahoo, and was advised by Yahoo support that 2-way email sync between my device and Yahoo is not possible.
