Jun 8, 2010I have had my storm for a week now and after restarting to finalise deleting some apps this green flashing LED light came on. But it's not like a coverage indicator where it flashes constantly it flashes 8 times then goes of for about 5 minutes and then flashes again.
So I tried a battery pull to see if it would go away and the green LED did but now the exact same thing is happening except the LED is red (flashes 8 times stops for 5 mins flashes 8 times and so on)

Jun 3, 2010My browser and email stopped working about 3 days ago and I spent almost a whole day on the phone with support, no help. They had me do everything including delete all my service books and now there is nothing in the host routing table. They finally said, we cant help. My phone is stuck on lower case edge and I cant get data.

Apr 19, 2010Upgraded os last night and somehow i managed to delete all my email addy, i was able to get my yahoo gmail etc back but cannot figure out how to get @vzw.blackberry.net back. I tried resending service books, restoring from 2 previous backups nothing... Anyone have any idea on how i can get it back? i use it for several things.

Mar 17, 2010I have the icon sayin that i have an unopened email but when i looked there was nothing that i had not read yet.. i did a battery pull (my first instinct) and then clicked marked all open in the options menu and it is still there there is no red * next to the icon just the envelope with the number 1. i also checked my vmail and deleted all vmails and it is still there please help!

Mar 4, 2010Anyone know why my email folder icon has dissappeared? The SMS/MMS and other MEssages one is still there, but for some reason the one specifically for my emails has vanished. Sent myself a "test" email from work to my personal email account and i can receive as it went into my "generic" messages folder.

Feb 8, 2010well i activated my storm about a week ago, switching over from my old curve (and quite an amazing switch). but i've noticed that i no longer recieve any emails pushed to my phone from any 3 of my accounts. i activated it over the phone through vzw's 1800 number, is there something more i need to do? honestly i didnt pay much attention to the automated voice, so am i missing something here?

May 26, 2010My company is a little behind the times and I do not even know the correct terms to search for an answer to my questions within these forums.We are running Microsoft Exchange 2003 and we just set everyone up with a company domain email address (Exchange address?).I would like to be able to connect a smartphone to the server so I can sync my email, calendar, and contacts.I have a Storm 9530 on Verizon, but other employees have other phones. One uses an iPhone, the other is looking at a Droid.Is there a quick and easy way to access Exchange on our phones? Do we have to have a third party app?My wife, who is in no way tech-savvy, was able to easily sync with her work email, calendar, and contacts on her personal iPhone after a simple walk-through phone call with her IT department (They have since somehow disabled this function for non company issued phones. I think just to **** her off.)I would like to be able to send emails from my phone and have them show up on my server. Syncing the calendar and contacts would be an added bonus.Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction? Oh, and by the way, I AM the IT department.

However, I can only send emails to contacts with a saved email address or reply to emails that have come to my inbox. for example, I receive an email from a friend, I can reply just fine. If I type that email in the "To" field, the envelope icon to send the message is grayed out. I resent service books, per another thread, but to no avail.

May 13, 2010This never used to happen, but just started in maybe the past couple of weeks:-when I use gmail to send an email, the sent email it now appears on my device as a sent message(with a check mark).I like this because everynow and then I send myself an email as a reminder of something, except that those dont go through as "unread" to the device, just as "sent".Is there a way to turn off automatic retrieving of "sent mail", and turn on retrieving messages I send to myself as unread received mail?

Aug 21, 2010I've been searching for a couple hours now. Nothing exactly helping my problem I'm using at&t. Just got browser, etc. Trying to set up my bb email/set my yahoo email on my bb. I read the bb email basics writeup, said you have to do it on your bb browser to set it up first. Went to the at&t page, then it said to do the options-adv options-host routing table-register now. Did this several times, nothing happens, still can't get on the at&t email page.

Oct 5, 2011I received an email on my Blackberry Storm 9530 that stated emails were not being delivered to my email address, and then gave me instructions to "validate my password". I went to my email settings on My Blackberry and put in what I thought was the password, but that failed. I tried a couple of others, but those failed also. Then I went to the Blackberry Internet Service website and reset my password there, but it still did not work. I noticed when I went to "Account Details" on the Blackberry website, the password was only 10 characters long, nothing close to any passwords that I might have used. I have Verizon Wireless, but should maybe mention that my email address has been supported by AT & T U-Verse for the last few years, and one month ago I cancelled U-Verse internet and went with someone else. Sep 12, 2010I wish there was an easy way for me to portray the amount of disdain I have for my Storm at this time, however, that won't do me any good!I'm just looking to get some insight to my problem and whether or not it can be resolved! It would be really unfortunate if I had to replace my lump of a phone as I am a college student that just moved away from home and am in the middle of my two-year contract.My phone is still in operating order minus the faulty touchscreen, it still receives messages, emails, and even phone calls. All the side buttons work, in short, the screen is just dead.I did not drop it nor spill any liquids on it and I've performed a plethora of battery pulls. I'm at a loss!Let me describe the events that occurred before (seemingly) death of my touchscreen. I was at a friends house preparing for a 9/11 5k race when I noticed my battery was running low so I left it in a safe place to quietly run out of steam because I had no need to carry a phone during a race. At this point it was still fully functional. After the race, I check my phone to see if it was out of power yet which it was. I get home later that night and charge it only to rudely surprised by an inoperable screen. I cleaned the screen and did a few battery pulls afterwards in hopes it was only a minor problem to no avail.

I was also in a moderate car crash the day prior so perhaps that may have caused some problems? Externally, my phone is in mint condition. I suppose this just hasn't been my week!

Feb 4, 2010From my desktop computer I use a USB cable to synchronize my Outlook contacts, calendar and tasks to my Storm2. I also have a laptop computer and use BlueTooth to synchronize it's Outlook contacts, calendar and tasks with the Storm2. The synchronization seems work fine. I wanted to access my personal email so I set it up by selecting SET UP then EMAIL SETTINGS and followed the wizard. It worked perfectly but it also created another calendar which seems to be associated to the new email address. This caused problems when trying to synchronize, my desktop was updating one calendar while the laptop was updating the other. When I deleted the email address the extra claendar was also deleted. Am I missing something, why is a second calendar created when I setup an email account?

Apr 25, 2010Ok this is my situation. I have a blackberry curve from tmobile. My sister got a new phone so she gave me her blackberry storm 9350. I went to a cell phone shop around my area and they unlocked the storm so i can use it with my tmobile sim card. I put on the sim card and i thought everything was working perfect but then i found out that i have multiple problem.
The good: I can make calls, i can use the internet.
The bad: when i place a call my sister number appears in the other person phone (not my tmobile number), i cant call my voicemail, cant setup my email, cant receive calls and more problems i still havent discovered lol.
