I have a second hand blackberry curve. The previous owner thought everything had been cleared but I started receiving his emails the other day. I took the phone into a phone shop and they cleared the phone again but I am still receiving his emails. When you go to email setup the only address/account showing is my email, so I can't just disassociate the phone from his account that way.

I set up my earthlink.net account on my phone so I could send one pic to my PC and now I cannot get it off! I cannot find any option on my Curve to set up an email account. I deleted my login and password for my email account on my phone; I deleted the CIMIME from the Service Book and deleted something called BIS 5 from somewhere. I'm still getting emails on my phone. I sync my calendar with Outlook and the same email address so I haven't gotten rid of CICAL in the Service Book.

I encountered a problem when wanting to use/upgrade some apps that it asked for the password for her apple ID and password rather than mine, which i remidied by just deleting and reinastalling the various apps. iMessage was always turned on on the is phone, but it was acting up so I turned it off and when turning it back on again it asks for her Apple ID and password, not mine. Finally, it appears on Contacts-->Select Contact List. This gmail account was once on my Torch as an Internet Mail Account, but I deleted the account (from gmail and from the Torch). It no longer exists as far as Google is concerned. It never was and never should never have been an Enterprise Account, and I don't know how it became one. How can I completely wipe this gmail account from my Torch?

I can cope with this, but what I cannot do is forward a received email onto someone else as my phone just appears to automatically select the old email address as the default one and I no longer have this email account. I cannot remove this from my phone as when I have tried to "delete an email address" the old address is not shown anywhere no matter where I have looked.

I've tried going into "More Settings" but that's very limited and does not allow me to change owner or change email address or change the name of the owner account.
I recently upgraded to the Tour from the 8830 at work. My IT dept transfered all my information and there is a gmail email account icon, but the account doesn't work. I set it up again in the Email Setup section, but its not working. I removed what I did and the gmail icon is still there, but doesn't work. Can anyone help? My IT dept rep is an absolute ***** and has done nothing to help me with this problem besides telling me "well, I guess you just can't use Gmail on this phone", which is absurd since I could use it on the old one, so I know BB supports it.

SMS, MMS, Blackberry messenger all work fine. My email account works fine if I log in through the browser. My wife has the same phone and also has a hotmail email account and hasn't had any problems.Any ideas on how to fix this?
