I have bought a bold 9900 via ebay. However, when I registered it with vodafone New Zealand, they told me that this phone is still in contract with the previous service provider, so they can not start new service for me. I contacted with the seller on ebay but it seems like he can not help me. How can I remove the previous BIS service of the previous owner now?

I took the phone into a phone shop and they cleared the phone again but I am still receiving his emails. When you go to email setup the only address/account showing is my email, so I can't just disassociate the phone from his account that way.

I recently purchased a previously used BlackBerry Curve 8330. The user who had owned it before me did not clear his information (including the email, Internet, and BBM settings). I do not know how to remove his information so that I can put mine in. I have tried to go to Email Settings and logging in, but it says my login isn't valid, so then I click on Create New and it tells me I cannot create a new account because there is already one on the device.

I inherited my IPhone from my girlfriend after she upgraded. I've managed to change it to be linked to my apple ID rather than hers. I encountered a problem when wanting to use/upgrade some apps that it asked for the password for her apple ID and password rather than mine, which i remidied by just deleting and reinastalling the various apps. iMessage was always turned on on the is phone, but it was acting up so I turned it off and when turning it back on again it asks for her Apple ID and password, not mine. Is there anyway to change the account?

Tried to install [URL]and when I do it says my owner info is not set up and to go to Applications/options/owner. When I go to the home screen, and click the menu, then options, it gives me settings for Home Scren Preferences. But there are no owner options. Just home screen preferences. I can make and receive calls and download apps so I'm confused by what could be causing all of this.

I was thinking about a custom theme or something, I really need that info/owner to be shown in the home screen, locked or unlocked.

Just dropped off my new Bold 9000 and I feel like a kid at Christmas. The CS was right when she said it would be early this week. I am so looking forward to exploring everything about this device. I thinkg I will wait a little while befor I install OS 5.0. I am coming from a Curve 8310 so this device is bound to be a vast improvement. I want to download a couple of apps. that might be beneficial to me. I did try to download theweather eye beta from pelmorex, but I was unsuccessful on my curve. Now I am really, really starting to worry because it seems that in the next few months the TOUR 2 could be released. I am wondering if I will be able to return my Tour and get my money back, and my full upgrade and just wait for the Tour 2 to be released. Some contacts were tripled, and doubled, some numbers were moved to different contacts, or deleted.
Is there a simple, or any kind of way to get back my old contacts list from a previous backup, while at the same time keeping the new OS, and replacing only this contact list?
Earlier today, my BB started doing something weird. When I get a new email, I highlight it and press the trackball to open it, but it opens the previously received email instead. If I hit the back button (taking me back to the email list) and then hit the new email again, it still takes me to the previous email. The only way to open the new email is to scroll up to the date and then back to the email, which will then open the correct one.
Also, if the new email is highlighted and I delete it, it deletes the previous email instead.
I've tried a battery pull and it doesn't help. I'm on a TMO 9700 running OS .330.
I had everything working fine on 5.0.592 for a week or more. I tried to restore some contacts from a prev backup and now all the sudden my email functionality is messed up. I have it linked to my GMAIL acct. Things I noticed since that contact backup is now when i go to delete a message, it will not prompt to delete from device only or device and inbox Also I can hit reply on some, but when I go to send, there is no send option. And lastly when I delete from my phone, it does not mark as read or delete from my inbox. i checked all the settings I can find. But nothing changed.

I put my t mobil account chip and bought the data plan and most of the features seem to work (I think).My brother's email is still in the email button and blackberry can't connect to the email server so that I can delect his email and put mine.Also when I make a call the 'My number' is showing my brother's number.
Is there a way to correct this. Does he need to unregister somewhere. Does he need to go to his carrier Version to change something?
Hey guys so i've had my ATT Nexus one for about 4 days now and I absolutely love the thing. I've a few problems though. First my call quality is apparently pretty bad, I have full 3G ATT service in Pittsburgh and i routinely hear the people i'm talking to say sorry can you repeat that. Also I've been getting texts a few hours after people send them. Finally I'm having a really hard time getting used to the onscreen keyboard.
Now I came from an N85 which obviously had a physical keyboard and the first two issues can easily be blamed on ATT's network. I was wondering if these are common issues however and if they will improve over time, in regard to typing. I assume it will but its been about 4 days now and i'm still no good at all, maybe I really suck with touchscreen typing?
Does anyone know how to permanately remove the Twitter icon off the Bold 1? I updated my girl's phone and this icon appeared. I used the "hide" feature, but she hates Twitter and wants it removed.

well I thought that picking up one was the best way to go. I found however I have a number of issues which I can't seem to solve.
1) internal GPS does not seem to operate. Even on GPS data application (and the GPS data application is NOT where the manual says it is)
2) I am having difficulty in setting up the phone in the same manner as my E63, can I just copy applications across using the PC based system? I have a number of things setup on the E63 such as synch to Google contacts & Calendar using exchange
3) the clock 'screen saver' time is tiny compared to that of my E63, how can I make this larger?

Lollipop 5.1 does not allow for screen widgets and there is no option in the security settings to display owner information on the lock screen.
