Day one powering up the phone there was a system update that that never installed. Since then I have not received any OTA updates. I have had it since October 29th.
I am on Verizon and used my sim from another phone. Concerned that because the first update borked during set up that I am not going to receive OTAs. Seen other listing the same scenario. Factory reset and removing sim in order?
I updated to OS 6 this afternoon and everything is completed, but it is stuck on restore progress. It has been there for 90 minutes. Is it ok to disconnect?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I plugged my x10 into the computer today to update the software. PC Companion did nothing for me when I used it before, so I used the update service directly from SE. Unfortunately, wasn't available this time, so I gave using PC Companion another shot. So my phone got about halfway through the update process before saying an error occurred, and the update couldn't be completed. So I went back a step and redid the prepping 3 times in a row, each time telling me to go back. Now my phone wont even turn on, I feel a vibration when I press the on button but that's it. The computer isn't even recognizing the phone as an x10 anymore, and whenever I try to do PCC recognition, it won't connect. SO all in all, PC Companion screwed me over.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed the Ovi Suite on my PC, connected my E71. That worked. Then downloaded Ovi Maps. It just places it on my desktop but doesn't do anything with it. So I decided to copy that file to my phone (mem card), and hit Install on the nokia_maps_3.03_10wk11_b04_s60_3.1_rom.Nocs.sis under App. Manager. It does lots of things that you would expect when something is installing, but then it ends. The application still says Not Installed, and there is no trace of the installed application anywhere else. When I then go into the Ovi Suite it doesn't tell or show anything remotely related to installing the app of cards, while I though a Maps Installer would kick in. Just tells me it's not installed and redirects me to this site for online surveys and online surveys.

I tried charging nothing. US Cell won't take back because it is passed 30 days and I do not have insurance on it. Even if I had insurance it would cost $100 more to send it in. I am upset to say the least. I paid a huge fee to get it as an upgrade to my curve.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhenever I complete an action that requires sound (refreshing Twitter, refreshing Blinkfeed, playing a song, typing on the keyboard) there will be this short popping noise afterwards. When I hold the top speaker to my ear after doing one of these actions I can hear something going on in the phone like it's powering on/off or something and then at the end there is this pop noise. I turned off "Touch Sounds" bc that was causing it to happen constantly but there doesn't seem to be any way around this outside of disabling all sounds on the phone.

I planned a fit test yesterday, and a morning interval run today. I have completed both excercises. Both exercises have been logged in my 'recent workouts' tab. In fact, the portal has used the results of my fit test to set my HR zones.But, when I go to workouts on the MotoActv, I still see both excercises as not completed with a "!" next to them. Is there a way to reset this? Is there a workaround?

Now I get a failure notice after choosing some songs and clicking the "synchronize"-Button saying: "Synchronization with x failures completed." I reinstalled Sony bridge for Mac, but it didn't solve the problem.

View 7 Replies View RelatedBasically I never get any notification of app updates, not do they update automatically. I have to go into app store regularly, then to updates and thereafter it shows the updates available, and shows the badge on the app store logo (ie red 3 for three new updates).
I've tried logging out of the current apple ID, powering off, on, putting apple ID back, no difference.
Tried turning off automatic updates, powering off, on, putting it back on, no difference (it's currently set in obviously).
Also difficult yo test as each time I need to wait for new updates to be issues to see if it works or not.
