I'm using a Xperia mini, a Mac OS X (10.6.8.) and Sony bridge for mac (3.1). With the former version of Sony bridge I could easily synchronize my music with iTunes (11.0.1). Now I get a failure notice after choosing some songs and clicking the "synchronize"-Button saying: "Synchronization with x failures completed." I reinstalled Sony bridge for Mac, but it didn't solve the problem.

Turning the phone off and on doesn't help and the failing applications aren't there in Settings > Applications > Running Services, so I've performed Factory Data Reset, not SD card, then done all my settings again. This is really bugging me.
The phone is up to date, with Android version 2.3.4
Synchronization with Outlook cannot be completed. Updating at 36th record from Address Book and it freezes.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently had a repair done to my Z3 by sony (main board replaced). Before sending off i backed up phone on the 10th feb. Received my Repaired phone today and tried to restore using sony bridge for mac, I select the correct backup dated the 10th and it runs though the backing up process fine no errors, i restart the phone and nothing.........phone is exactly the same as before i restored.

So it is a hard reset I'm after. As per instructions I've downloaded Sony Bridge for Mac, installed and had it running, came stuck at stage where you "hold volume down and connect phone to mac". What shows is an icon that informs me the battery level of my phone (I checked it's over 80%) and goes no further.
I have transferred successfully all my content from iPhone 5 to my Xperia z3. Â

I used Sony Bridge for Mac doing that. It said, that in the end it would be a "pop up" on my phone giving me further instructions how to open the apps, messages on the phone - but It never came one.I can see that the content is over, because it now have 9GB less memory than before, but how I can come in contact with the content.
After the connection and synchronisation with the website, my SD card is not available. I have to restart the phone to see the SD card again.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSaben, no me gusta tener contactos en la SIM, siempre se pueden perder, romper, te pueden robar el telefono, etc etc, por eso decidi guardar todos mis contactos en una cuenta de gmail y sincronizarlos con mi Xperia Mini Pro, claro, el problema es que en Gmail tengo mas de 8000 contactos, algunos con numero telefonico y otros que no, guardados en diferentes carpetas, he visto que gmail tiene por defecto una carpeta denominada "Starred with Android", sin embargo la sincronizacion la realiza con el total de contactos guardados en la cuenta de Gmail, y el usuario solo tiene algunas opciones en "Contactos para mostrar"... El problema es que cuando ingresamos a "Contactos" en el telefono y realizamos una busqueda, este busca en la totalidad de los contactos (es lo que pude ver) y el telefono se torna extremadamente lento (pues claro, buscar una persona de 8000). En resumen, solo hay opciones para "MOSTRAR" ciertos contactos pero no para elegir QUE carpeta incronizar y cual no.
Lo que quiero saber es si existe la posibilidad de que la sincronizacion de Gmail con el telefono se puede resrtringir solo a una carpeta definida, una carpeta donde pueda guardar 100 o 200 contactos y que el telefono no descargue tanta informacion inecesaria, por ende aumentar su velocidad de busqueda.
Is iOS6 gonna have some sort of bridge type of capability like the blackberry bridge ? because something like that would be useful for users with an iPad and iPhone.

syncing my mini pro to google - especially calendar and contacts, theese are the two most important features of the phone for me. In the past but more often recently (actually every time I sync via internet connection), I get theese notifications: am using Bussines Calander Free app as my calendar app. Could this be issue with PC Companion or with BCF?

View 7 Replies View RelatedSo I plugged my x10 into the computer today to update the software. PC Companion did nothing for me when I used it before, so I used the update service directly from SE. Unfortunately, wasn't available this time, so I gave using PC Companion another shot. So my phone got about halfway through the update process before saying an error occurred, and the update couldn't be completed. So I went back a step and redid the prepping 3 times in a row, each time telling me to go back. Now my phone wont even turn on, I feel a vibration when I press the on button but that's it. The computer isn't even recognizing the phone as an x10 anymore, and whenever I try to do PCC recognition, it won't connect. SO all in all, PC Companion screwed me over.

I've tried adding the account in settings > Accounts & sync > Add account > Sony Ericsson sync, it goes to the Sont Ericsson login screen and will not go past that after I have enterewd my details, or5 it redirects me to the login to the website dashboard. I'm getting no opportunity to authorise the account and now I cannnoot sync my contacts as I don't use the Google account for that.

View 9 Replies View Relatedi bought a sony ericsson xperia x10 mini a couple of weeks ago, works fine but i was downloading live wallpapers from android store and there was one called DIY wallpaper and it made the lock screen look like an iphone one. so i installed it and it asked me if i wanted to change my home screen to the new one and i clicked yes, then my screen went black. I can use the drop down bar but if i click on a notifcation in there nothing comes up on the screen. I can see the start up screen and all that and the unlock screen it all works just no home screen. Ive tried reseting by holding lock button and home button for 4 seconds it resarted but it was the same i could only use the drop down bar.and one more thing, ive connected to computer but i cant get it to do the usb connect because i cant click it on the phone screen.

However, stragenly I was able to upgrade from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1 through PC Companion (though PC Companion refuses to detect). Now my handset say there are updates available and to be updated through PC Companion. However, this time PC Companion is not bending in any direction to support me.
I am having real trouble syncing my phone to either Google or Sony ericsson. I would really want to because i would like to download some of my personal messages onto my email address so i can eventually put them onto a disc.
