Am using Sony Ericson x10 mini pro. I installed PC companion and PC suite in my laptop. When I connect mobile to laptop I see two option 1.Charge phone 2.Connect USB. I selected Option 2 to connect my mobile to laptop to use internet from mobile. Through PCSuite and PC Companion am not able to access internet. In PC Suite it shows mobile not connected.
View 9 Repliesi used my sony pc commpanion to try to upgrade my sony erricson mini pro (sk17i) to the new ics OS . halfway thru the download i get a screen which says softare update failure. thats like half an hour thru the downloading process. my si nummber is liisted on the sony website for the official upgrade. (1249-0761). A company of sony s repute really needs to offer better customer service.

PS i have done reset, master reset and updated the phone to the newest software available and i have only had the phone a few days.
i have xperia mini pro and i've upgraded the operating system from 1.6 to 2.1 but after i did this upgrade i can't connect to the internet and every time i try to connect i recieve a message that says that ( couldn't download setting )

When I take off the password from the router there is no problem at all. Another weird thing is I can access router webpage whilst connection is secured but that is it.
