Nokia :: E71 - Process Completed But Maps Not Installed
Jun 2, 2010I installed the Ovi Suite on my PC, connected my E71. That worked. Then downloaded Ovi Maps. It just places it on my desktop but doesn't do anything with it. So I decided to copy that file to my phone (mem card), and hit Install on the nokia_maps_3.03_10wk11_b04_s60_3.1_rom.Nocs.sis under App. Manager. It does lots of things that you would expect when something is installing, but then it ends. The application still says Not Installed, and there is no trace of the installed application anywhere else. When I then go into the Ovi Suite it doesn't tell or show anything remotely related to installing the app of cards, while I though a Maps Installer would kick in. Just tells me it's not installed and redirects me to this site for online surveys and online surveys.

Dec 22, 2011So I plugged my x10 into the computer today to update the software. PC Companion did nothing for me when I used it before, so I used the update service directly from SE. Unfortunately, wasn't available this time, so I gave using PC Companion another shot. So my phone got about halfway through the update process before saying an error occurred, and the update couldn't be completed. So I went back a step and redid the prepping 3 times in a row, each time telling me to go back. Now my phone wont even turn on, I feel a vibration when I press the on button but that's it. The computer isn't even recognizing the phone as an x10 anymore, and whenever I try to do PCC recognition, it won't connect. SO all in all, PC Companion screwed me over.

Apr 19, 2012What is the deal with the Iphone syncing on Itunes? This just started about 3 weeks ago and is really annoying. If it syncs up to 8 things, it gets stuck on the last one updating. Having to turn the **** phone off & one then unselect something so it only syncs 4 items then it works.

Nokia :: Hotmail Server / Syncing Process Extremely Slow
Apr 24, 2010Is the Hotmail server down because my NM is online, but won't sync the new emails to my inbox even though I know there are new ones there. Not only is the syncing process extremely slow, but it will often go offline on its own accord. And I'm never notified of new emails in my inbox unless I manually sync it.
And the Inbox is sync enabled, I made sure I checked that before I posted anything. Has this happened to anyone else before? I've tried going offline, rebooting my phone and then starting it all up again but it still continues to do the same thing.

BB Torch :: 9850 Won't Turn On - It Was Completed Dead
Apr 16, 2012I have only had my Torch a couple of months. I used it one morning and then went in the afternoon and it was completly dead. I pulled battery. Nothing. I tried charging nothing. US Cell won't take back because it is passed 30 days and I do not have insurance on it. Even if I had insurance it would cost $100 more to send it in. I am upset to say the least. I paid a huge fee to get it as an upgrade to my curve.

Aug 12, 2013Whenever I complete an action that requires sound (refreshing Twitter, refreshing Blinkfeed, playing a song, typing on the keyboard) there will be this short popping noise afterwards. When I hold the top speaker to my ear after doing one of these actions I can hear something going on in the phone like it's powering on/off or something and then at the end there is this pop noise. I turned off "Touch Sounds" bc that was causing it to happen constantly but there doesn't seem to be any way around this outside of disabling all sounds on the phone.

May 17, 2012I planned a fit test yesterday, and a morning interval run today. I have completed both excercises. Both exercises have been logged in my 'recent workouts' tab. In fact, the portal has used the results of my fit test to set my HR zones.But, when I go to workouts on the MotoActv, I still see both excercises as not completed with a "!" next to them. Is there a way to reset this? Is there a workaround?
