I was hoping with OS 4.0 that I'd be able to keep Pocket Tunes (Internet radio) running while using other apps. If I'm listening to pocket Tunes, I double tapped the home button, and if i scroll to another app, pocket tunes stops playing? I thought that multiple tasking meant this would not happen??

I like to have my phone in a case, so I can't really use the headphones unless I'm willing to leave my phone unprotected.
I've received about getting around this is a simple headphone adapter, which would plug in to the top of the phone, then allow me to plug my phones in above the case.
This seems impractical, as I don't think the trade-off is worth it. I wouldn't, however, mind it if I could add an extra feature. So is there a headphone adaptor/extender out there includes a remote for basic volume / play / track functions?

I haven't figured out why but when I have music playing while the phone is in my pocket, it seems to preview or skip songs after a couple seconds. Does it have something to do with my trouser snake messing with the touch screen?
It makes that beeping noise when songs change the moment it's in my pocket. I thought the screen was finger touch sensitive. What's going on? How do I stop this?
I switch to airplane mode and hope to turn off all notifications because there is no connectivity to wi-fi or 3G. It turns out I was wrong, I woke up in the middle of the night to the vibration and beep of my iPhone telling my that all of my planes have landed! But do I really need to know this at 2:00 in the morning? I don't think so! I made sure airplane mode was still on and it was but I was still getting notifications just from that one app. I would like to know how to disable this without having to go into notifications settings, pocket planes, etc.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm new to BlackBerry and have been stymied by a problem that I can't find an answer to. When I have my BB in my pocket, the wiggling of the trackpad instantly silences the ring when someone calls. Since I got my Bold 9700 a couple of weeks ago, I think I've missed more calls than I've received and it took me a while to figure out what is going on.
Is there a way to disable the "any button press or trackpad wiggle silences the ring" feature? I'd rather not use the holster - I got the new small BB so it would fit in my front pocket.
since the service outage in September/october of 2011. my blackberry has been pocket dialing the same number eventhough I have deleted it from the call registery and contact listing. Also, I have received txt messages that are at least 2years old. How do I make it stop? I have removed the battery, entered the password 10 imes to get it to wipe the memory. none of this has worked. I want to know how does a blackberry take a number and move it to the speed dial registery without me knowing it? When you delete a number from your contacts, why does it not delete the number from speed dial as well? Finally, why doesn't RIM have a 1-800 umber that a person can call, instead of getting the run around. these questions are not for a service provider, they are for the equipment designer.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI went to the store yesterday to play with the torch. I like it a lot and will probably upgrade from my 9000. however, I dont like the lock (rather, the unlock) and the sales guy said he didn't know of an answer for me.
in short, you lock it by hitting the button on the top left. no worries. however, to unlock, you either open the slider or hit the lock button again. this is not a very "positive" way of unlocking, if you ask me. its quick and easy, but not a very good way to keep the phone locked in your pocket or whatever. I can easily see me bumping the unlock button when the phone's in my pocket and dialing or browsing or any number of functions from touch enable home screen. I dont think the slide is likely to open in a cargo pocket, but the button could definetely get pushed. for those of yall that have had one for a while, am I missing something? is there a way to "override" this and make it so it only unlocks when you manually do something?
How do I uninstall pocket express? There is no uninstall under applications>menu.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSince I've had the phone from last Wednesday, the MXPE has woken up over a dozen times in my front pocket. I've ****/pocket dialed at least 4 people because of it. And I'm sure my battery life is suffering because every time I take it out of my front pocket, the phone is awake. In my car with the radio on, my phone has come to life several times because it believes it has heard the launch phrase, even though my phrase is pretty obscure. I know the simple solution is to turn off Moto Display/Active Voice, etc.. but I actually like the features.

I am on an LG G4 with AT&T running Android 5.02. When creating a new calender entry I am presented with 3 options when saving the new entry:
1) Cancel
2) Pocket
3) Save
I am referring to the LG calender app v4.50.02 that shipped with the phone.

View 3 Replies View RelatedJust thought I would share this, thought it was kinda of funny. So in my sons room he has a older TV/VCR combo, a sylvania tube model. Well, strangely when I walk into his room with the phone in my pocket or in my hand, the TV turns on? I believe it's when it is sending data back and forth, b/c it only seems to happen then. It only turns on that TV, the others in the house don't respond at all. My 4yr old gets a kick out of it.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have not abused this phone nor has it gotten wet. I've tried two different batteries and two different chargers and it still yields zero response. Not even a charging light when i plug it in. I literally put it in my pocket while it was fully functioning, took it out an hour later and it was off. Now i can't even get the bricked screen of death. I haven't taken it apart yet but i have a feeling i'm going to have to. I just got it from a friend and he just downloaded the newest os to it. It had a 2 gig memory card in it but there was nothing on the card as i only had it for a week before this happened. I hadn't signed up for internet service yet and the only thing i downloaded to it was one cd via windows media player. The cd was a legit cd purchased from a label not limewire...
View 11 Replies View RelatedAbout 3 times a day it unlocks and calls somebody up. Well it's not a software fault, it's just because I hit a button and the inside of my pocket just touches the screen and it unlocks. I saw on the xperia you have to slide your finger to unlock it, that would do the trick.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSony Ericsson Zylo or W200i(I have no idea which one is it), is one phone which I worpship a lot! It have crystal sounds, great mp3 player, videos are so cool as well and the camera not to mention is awesome as well. One day I was at my grandma to help her with some stuff, and while listening to radio I was wandering, why zylo can be radio and have radio antennas, but not being mini TV and not have some sort of antena for television? I searched a lot on google to find out for any sort of telephone having TV with antenna or something, and I came out with this thing called "TV Tuner".
I searched a lot about Zylo if can have it or if I need to buy it and implement it like the recharging thing but still no clue. Then I searched only if any sony ericsson have at all this TV Tuner thing and I found only those "X10i" and "SO903i". So the big question is, why Zylo can have such clear videos(I convert movies or videos to small format and send them to memory card), but no TV at all? Is there a way to implement it or to make a tuner for people like me, which need to watch the sport, news and such after having a break from driving a car or bike on long distance. I hope such thing can be made and sold, this will be awsome to buy and have!
I have had my S5 for about a month or two now and have been having a problem with the screen waking in my pocket. I'm guessing the home or power button is being pressed which is fine but I need the screen to turn back off in a reasonable amount of time. There is a setting called "Screen timeout" but no "Lock screen timeout" like I used to have on my S3. Maybe I'm missing something but it seems like both the screen timeout and the lock screen timeout are both controlled by this one setting. Just about every 20 minutes I feel my pocket getting hot and sure enough, the screen has been on for who knows how long.
