My iPhone 5s touch screen has a problem where it can be hyper sensitive.
In certain screens like iMessage, when I tap lightly in one area, the screen will continually to scroll upwards even when I am NOT doing the swiping up motion.Â
Sometimes worse is when I tap on a message to try to read it, it automatically swipe left on the message thread and delete the whole message thread and that is very frustrating and means I lose entire conversations. Â
OTher times, when I am typing out a message or email, the cursor for the next character jumps to the middle of the last typed sentence even if I did not do it.Â
Again, just to summarize, without my wanting it, my touch screen creed with one tap sometimes makes the phone scrolls upwards or leftwards on message threads automatically.

I'm pulling my hair out every time I use this phone. I have heard you can adjust the touch screen to make it less sensitive, but I've got no idea how to do it!

View 9 Replies View RelatedThe screen on my Z5 has become over sensitive and when scrolling it keeps opening pages or links even when I hardly touch the screen. Indeed while typing this sort paragraph it's taking longer because the keyboard is entering letters for me. I have already rebooted the phone reinstalled software and was OK for a while. But now it's back. Impossible to go on to Facebook as I can't scroll down without opening every link.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have constantly had a problem of the touch screen on my Torch being way too sensitive during phone calls. I frequently put people on hold or speaker phone accidentally during calls. Is there any way to eliminate the touch screen menu function while I am on the phone or make it less sensitive?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI notice this while trying to put it on my desk or one hand typing texts, it seems the auto rotate sensitivity is too high. Is there some way to "turn it down" so you can turn the phone more before it auto rotates? I know I can turn it off, but I use it in Chrome and YouTube and probably couple more apps.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI did not like the .320 screen calibration because the clicking was a bit on the hard side and the bottom buttons were hard to press sometimes. After switching to .428, the screen seems to be too soft. I get the double click effect on the bottom buttons although they are much easier to click now. While typing it just feels too soft. Yes, its easier to click but sort of makes the phone feel a bit cheap.
So .320 was a bit too hard and .428 is a bit too soft. I really hope the next leak will put it right in the middle or at least give us an option to change it ourselves.
I have had the phone for half a week, love everything about it, but the screen sensitivity.
Many times when using it, it will think I have touched the screen even though my thumb is 1/2 to 1/4 inch above the screen.
It seems strange, but I like the version 2.1 and the standard launcher, adapt perfectly to the x10 mini pro. So I have a question: The standard Launcher is very sensitive to touch, that is, when I change screen, it just goes to the editing widgets. I'm not getting much time with his finger on the screen.

I am looking for a stable and extra safe platform for my IPhone and mac to store sensitive data (bank account no.s, passwords, receipts, certificates, ids, cc etc.). It will have to sync preferable over the air, have super strong encryption and allow a variety of files. I've really looked deep and hard for this, but I haven't come away with an impression that one is better than the other, or that enough users are vouching for it, hence I am posting to the forums for experience. Off the top of my head what seemed to stand out was meo, lockbox and 1 password, but none was all around convincing or had enough good references. If there are any users that have a contrarily approach to safety (the people who think a laptop with no WiFi that never connects to the network being the only solution). I would love them to chime in, because it's important that we try to establish a realistic but practical approach to our data that will safeguard them.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI recently had a warranty replacement on my HTC One, and after using the HTC transfer app to move my data over, contacts with a long history of text messages are now super slow when I try to send or receive messages, or even look at them. I don't want to simply delete the text history -- ideally I'd like to 'archive' them in such a way that I can open them on demand rather than having them open each time I try to send a text message to them.
Want to clear old messages from the Android messaging app so that it will run faster, but don't want to completely lose the message history.
When I'm about to send a text and choose a recipient, there's like a 3-5 second delay? It's annoying, anyway to fix it? Also when I log into Facebook, it just shows the loading circle for a long time. I would have to click on news feed for it to be normal. It never used to do that.

I've had my Black Berry Bold 9700 for a little over a month. During the first couple weeks, I didn't notice that my track pad didn't click. When I realized this I just ignored it because it didn't seem like such a big deal. Well fast forward a couple weeks to today, my phone's track pad has been double clicking with one press. Not only that the clicks have been getting worse and worse. Sometimes I don't have to press anything and it will click automatically. Within the past couple hours of this, it has gotten so bad my phone sent 13 of the same picture under 10 seconds. I took the initiative and took it a part to see whats going on, but nothing I noticed was the cause. Upon reassembling it, and starting it back up the problem is still there, and still getting worse. Ive had my phone for over a month so the warranty has expired. I also don't have insurance to replace the entire phone.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo a little over a year now I had my LG G3. Its been about a week of not a bit more that I've noticed this. I still have the same apps that I've had before. I deleted all the new ones I installed. I charge it all night before bed. When I wake up its at 100% I can leave it there and it goes down to 90% in like 30 minutes. So of course I tried to restart the phone.
I've been charging the phone more then 4 times a day, that's how fast it has been dying. It gets super super super hot at the stop of the camera, and then of course my phone goes really slow. But it gets so hot you burn yourself. I seriously can't think of another way of why it is dying so fast. I've never had a phone problem like thos before. I've tried installing apps, to clean stuff won't work.
I just bought a sony xperia z5 and am very disappointed how long it can take to open the camera application via holding the camera button sometimes 3-4 seconds.
