Apr 26, 2010i realy your help in this one, now i live in Lebanon, and i'm searching for a n900, but the other day my freind told that you can't check for your balance in your phone operartor, is that true, were i live, you need to recharge your phone in before you make phone calls, send messages etc, and to see how much dollars(or what ever its called) you still have in what you have recharged, you need to press *11# and than the green button, and than a message shows up showing you your phone operator balance, is it true that that can't be done on the n900? i like it how i can overclock the n900 from 600 mhz to 1000 mhz in less than 30 sec.

Jun 17, 2014I recently had a warranty replacement on my HTC One, and after using the HTC transfer app to move my data over, contacts with a long history of text messages are now super slow when I try to send or receive messages, or even look at them. I don't want to simply delete the text history -- ideally I'd like to 'archive' them in such a way that I can open them on demand rather than having them open each time I try to send a text message to them.
Want to clear old messages from the Android messaging app so that it will run faster, but don't want to completely lose the message history.

Dec 23, 2013When I'm about to send a text and choose a recipient, there's like a 3-5 second delay? It's annoying, anyway to fix it? Also when I log into Facebook, it just shows the loading circle for a long time. I would have to click on news feed for it to be normal. It never used to do that.

BB Bold 9700 :: Trackpad Super Malfunction
Aug 6, 2010I've had my Black Berry Bold 9700 for a little over a month. During the first couple weeks, I didn't notice that my track pad didn't click. When I realized this I just ignored it because it didn't seem like such a big deal. Well fast forward a couple weeks to today, my phone's track pad has been double clicking with one press. Not only that the clicks have been getting worse and worse. Sometimes I don't have to press anything and it will click automatically. Within the past couple hours of this, it has gotten so bad my phone sent 13 of the same picture under 10 seconds. I took the initiative and took it a part to see whats going on, but nothing I noticed was the cause. Upon reassembling it, and starting it back up the problem is still there, and still getting worse. Ive had my phone for over a month so the warranty has expired. I also don't have insurance to replace the entire phone.

Dec 26, 2015So a little over a year now I had my LG G3. Its been about a week of not a bit more that I've noticed this. I still have the same apps that I've had before. I deleted all the new ones I installed. I charge it all night before bed. When I wake up its at 100% I can leave it there and it goes down to 90% in like 30 minutes. So of course I tried to restart the phone.
I've been charging the phone more then 4 times a day, that's how fast it has been dying. It gets super super super hot at the stop of the camera, and then of course my phone goes really slow. But it gets so hot you burn yourself. I seriously can't think of another way of why it is dying so fast. I've never had a phone problem like thos before. I've tried installing apps, to clean stuff won't work.

Jan 21, 2010My phone charges sooooooo slow when I plug it into the USB on my computer with the data cable. It takes a couple of hours to go from low to 50%. This just started happening and.
It doesn't appear that anything is wrong with the cable - I've only used it a few times. A lightning bolt is appearing and it is charging for sure. It hasn't always done this - or at least I don't thinks so. I've backed up and restored data on my desktop through the USB without a problem.

The split is typically as shown in the first screenshot - "cell standby" and "phone idle" account for circa 50% of the loss.what I get with what I consider to be standby/idle (so not even "normal use") and with best (?) battery saving settings:

Oct 15, 2015I transferred/restored all my info and apps to it used it all day till night perfectly fine. It was fast, wifi working fine, etc. Then tonight I installed Go Launcher on it and played with it for like 10 mins and then noticed wifi stopped working. I turned wifi off and when I tried to turn it back on it failed, I kept trying until wifi turned on. Mean while the phone was super super slow so I turned off power saving mode but it didnt work. Then I noticed wifi started turning off on it own. My next step was remove Go launcher but it didnt fix anything, the issues stayed. Next I reset it to factory setttings but when it came on, wifi was failing (and phone slow) even during the initial set up wizard.
The phone was completely fine during the whole day.And my biggest worry is that this is an exchanged phone. I originally got a supposedly new s5 from ebay, (from a guy with thousands of reviews/transactions and like 98% positive score) but eventually I realized the battery was fake and that the IR blasted didnt work. He agreed to exchanged it and I received it yesterday and now today the phone has already failed but in the weirdest way possible by being completely fine for the majority of the day.

Huawei Nexus 6P :: Scrolling On Certain Sites Is Super Choppy On Chrome
Nov 20, 2015It's laggier than my Z3! I was NOT expecting this. Scrolling on certain sites is super choppy.
I have performed a factory reset and first impressions are that it is super smooth and silky now when scrolling again. I am yet to sign Chrome into my google account to sync a tonne of my bookmarks and see if this affects performance. Also, waiting on all my 237 apps to install in the background first before carrying out another test too. I will report back once I've done so.
On my previous factory reset, somebody said I should remove last pass, which I did but it made no difference as I still had other accessibility services enabled. So the problem resurfaced.
Okay, so it is all down to accessibility services, IMHO. Once enabled, Chrome seems to suffer from this dreaded laggggg and slow touch response or sometimes freeze and crash on sites like daily mail, XDA and huffpost. I have performed a factory reset and not enabled any accessibility services yet and everything is hunky dory, even with full bookmark and account sync.
I will update when and if problem recurs. All seems well for last couple weeks...

Nov 22, 2015I'm having a really weird problem with my phone. The wifi connection is super slow on my Nexus6P, but on my macbook it is fine as it should be. I tested on two more phones, one iPhone and my OnePlus one, wifi works fine on both of them.
I tried restarting my phone and nothing, I did a factory reset on my phone and the same problem still happens.
When I did turned of my router for like 2 minutes and then turned it on again, the wifi connection on my nexus6p worked fine for some minutes and then got slower again.

Oct 3, 2015when I am texting, I don't get the feedback click on all my letters. (I know a lot of people dislike it and shut it off, but I like the feedback). Also one of my games doesn't always playback the generated congratulatory sound after a super move. One time the feedback sound was completely off on the game and I rebooted and it came back. I blamed that on my obsession with turning off tasks and apps not in use. But I have let go on that obsession so I don't think I am affecting things.
