Mar 22, 2010I was got my Nokia 97 today and I've noticed that when receiving calls, even from numbers I know are not private or blocked, the phone number doesn't appear on the screen or in the call log. I have tried going through all the settings and everything I could think of to try and fix th problem but nothing would help. This is frustrating as when I recieve a call I have no idea who it is from, or who to call back!

Dec 2, 2015Bought my 950 from AT&T. I use Office 365 and Outlook SMS calendar notifications (via Exchange) which are sent via carrier email to text.
On my Icon w/ a Verizon account, each notification nested within a single contact or send SMS number (was always "6245"). However, with AT&T I am getting each notification from a distinct number, such as "1 (410) 100-030," "1 (410) 100-031," "1 (410) 100-032," etc., and as per the attached (these messages are from RedOxgyen Outlook SMS that works the same as calendar notifications). It renders the calendar and other Outlook SMS functions useless, as it overwhelms my SMS inbox.

IPhone :: Autocorrect Changing My Correct Words
Jun 13, 2012My autocorrect has taken on a mind of it's own, and will now change perfectly fine words to completely different ones. It will change "it" to "is" or "bad" to "sad" and many other unnecessary changes. Today was the final straw, it changed "there" to "their". when the sentence was, "He's been upset since he got there." So it's not as if it was being smart enough to replace the proper tense, it was just wrong! Will there been an improvement with autocorrect in the next update, because I've decided to turn it off until this madness stops.

Aug 28, 2011I can browse the Internet no problems however, instead of seeing say an article there are no words. All I can see is a blank space where the words should be. I can't even do a google search properly. It will let me click on the articles and it will open them up but nothing inside. Pictures show but no words!

Jun 14, 2014I've been using Swype for a while now, and I've never really had any problem with it lagging or missing words, but on my m8 it does. I have it on my nexus 7 tablet and it doesn't happen there, so I know it's not just me.
If I'm swyping quickly, it'll take so long to process one word, that by the time it's ready again I've already swyped a second word that gets missed and it goes straight to the third word.

The only other galaxy I can check the message settings against is an S3 but everything is set up the same so is this just an S2 issue or am I missing something? Whenever I type a word with an apostrophe (I'll, we'll, Don't etc) the regular on board keyboard corrects it to something like I'I'll we'we'll and don'don't every time. I have, when I've noticed the suggestion appear, attempted to delete these words from the user dictionary but they keep coming back. I can't even find access to the entire user dictionary to delete there, just the suggestion bar.
It's very annoying as I keep getting doubled words when typing fast. It's only happening on apostrophe words and I never "taught" those words to my phone.
It's like it is trying to correct by replacing the correct word's last letter with the entire word.

Only if the word can be an emoji and it has a period after. For example, I just typed a sentence and the last word was "soon." I typed out "soon." And my phone sort of auto corrected it to "soon soon." NO matter how many times I tried deleting the second word, every time I put a period, if would add the word again.

Apr 10, 2012iphone 4, latest software + itunes 10.6.1.7 running on windows 7.
I've had several problems lately. First off, itunes wouldn't show, even though the process was running in Windows Job List. Now, it pops up occasionally, but when I connect my iphone 4, it doesn't show in the left panel in itunes and hence can't sync.
I've tried rebooting, rebooting my iphone, reinstalling itunes, deleting everything apple, rebooting, reinstalling itunes, deleting everyhting apple AND vacuuming my Program Files folder and the shared folders with a third-party extermination program to make sure NOTHING was left. THEN reinstalling itunes, but to no avail.
