I get a continuous loop when trying to use app Words with Friends. Any suggestions? Also, gmail keeps stopping and I have to reboot phone to get my email Need help!

Since I updated iOS 5.1.1 Words with friends app keep crashing when opened. I deleted and reinstalled....that didnt work. I rebooted my device and still has the same issue.

So the last few days I've been having a severe issue with my iPhone 4. Basically, it restarted on me out of no where, and now it's just in a continuous boot loop. It flashes the dimmed Apple logo for roughly 8 seconds, goes black, and keeps doing it over and over.Â
I've searched Google and the Apple communities high and low, tried all the solutions, nothing work. I've tried restoring via both DFU and recovery mode, and nothing works. I keep getting Error Code 21 and 3194, and various others.Â
While in recovery mode, with the USB cord and itunes logo, iTunes will detect that it's in recovery and tells me it needs to be restored.
So, I click restore and update. iTunes extracts the software, then goes to the "waiting for phone", and just keeps going into a boot loop again.Â
I've tried TinyUmbrella to see if that can fix the boot loop issues, but it hasn't worked. Tried on several different computers, with different cords, and nothing. It's not a jailbroken device, or water damaged or anything.
I've deleted the gsp Apple jargon in the host file in my Windows>system32>drivers>etc folder, adding the hashtag to it, etc. Nothing is working for me, despite all the people replying to posts/solutions saying it works for them.Â
I was running iOS 7.1.2 perfectly before it had restarted and did the boot loop. It's now currently plugged in, with the connect to itunes screen.

i did a search but didn't,t find problems like mine. I am still on Honeycomb and have xoom 4G. I have the words with friends app installed but whenever I try to run it I get screen saying that I don't have an internet connection (I do). Same thing happens if I try to run it from inside Facebook.

i uninstalled, tried to install again, still says not compatible. ive powered down and back on etc, no luck. am i doing something wrong or did they change the app so it really doesnt work on xoom?

View 7 Replies View RelatedThis morning, I clicked on Bluetooth widget by mistake which rebooted the phone. Since then it was continuously on boot loop and keeps on rebooting itself after the XPERIA logo.It got turned on once in afternoon after which i did a factory reset and it was working fine. In eve I tried to turn the Bluetooth on and it is around 4-5 hours my phone is still rebooting continuously.It is Android 4.0.4 and never rooted, minimum apps, all are from PlayStore only.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy SII appears to have some kind of virus - I am getting a continuous loop of Force Close messages. Kies will not connect to the phone, it is running to the most up to date version. My phone is currently on Android Version 2.3.3 and on Gingerbread.because it cannot connect to Kies, I cannot run a back up. All my photos and videos are on the phone. I have a 3 month old baby and am desperate to save these. As I cannot back up I am reluctant to perform a factory reset as I am conscious I will lose all the data stored.It randomly turns itself on and off. The error messages come thick and fast - I don't even need to 'force Close' they pop up on their own and a constant stream of them will occur. Examples of the error messages are as follows:

(3gs on 3.1.2, new baseband, with 3.1.3 backed up on cydia...and im running windows XP)
here is what happend:
--tried to set file permissions for the calender app bc it was not letting me add new apointments after SSHing the file from another phone
--used ifile to 1st: private/var/mobile/Library/Calendar (i went one step further) as far as i could go before an edit, then clicked the blue arrow and while the permissions was root, i noticed that it set to read and write only. so i changed this to RWE.
--went back to calendar tried to add a new apt -- no go, didnt work
--back to ifile 2nd: private/var/mobile/Library/Calendar (one step less than the first time) clicked the blue arrow and saw that permissions was mobile. so i changed that to root.
--closed ifile opened SBsettings, and clicked respring. i thought maybe this would cause the changes to take effect. i hit respring three times before it respnded... then it resprung to the sad iphone
--from the sad iphone it has been caught in the respring loop. it goes from the sad iphone to my normal lock screen (i dont run any lockscreen apps).
here is what i have done so far:
--i replaced the Calendar.sqlitedb file with the old (presumably good) file from the old phone via SSH. this seemed to help a little in that now i was able to slide the slider but still, nothing, just back to the loop.
--i attempted to restore from backup in itunes. after about 10 minutes, nothing was happening; the phone continued to loop and itunes seemed to make no progress. so i disconnected the wire.
--i held down the home and sleep buttons until the phone powered down. holding down just the sleep/power button only caused the screen to dim, but the loop continued.
--once the power was off, i turned it back on and ran blackra1n from recovery mode. phone returned to loop.
--powered down again, same method and once in recovery mode, connected to itunes. itunes said it had to restore before it could do anything. i disconnected...
--ran blackra1n again, and once more while back in the loop, and still nothing. but now when i slide, i am seeing the error message about mobile substrate, however, it does not fully appear in that the phone starts to respring before anything can happen. i have been sliding the slider and each time the screen stops at a different level, meaning that i can see the icon animation but the respring stops it at various points. while writing this, i got a text message. it displayed, and then disappeared on the next respring.
Should i do a full hard reset, should i delete stuff via SSH, DFU, i dont know, but it seems like the phone is still intact enough not to need a full restore (which would = re-jailed...).
i've got a lot of pics for my homescreen on my iPhone. Unfortunately it's very annoying to change the pics every second day.
Is there a program or app or maybe a preference to allow the phone to change selected pics for the homescreen itselfs? Every hour for example - like the screen on my macbook does?!
A search through the WWW show programms with "amazing HD-Wallpapers", but i can't change the pics. And no I don't want these pics on my homescreen

I have an iphone 4s i woke up a few weeks ago to the iphone not starting up, it wouldn't go past the apple logo, i was able to put it in recovery mode(connect to itunes), so i put it in recovery mode and did a restore which made me download the new firmware since i was running on the one that came with my 4S,
When it was nearly done i received a error message about iphone pairing record was missing, so i started all over and did the restore again. However now my phone keeps going to apple logo, rebooting, loading bar, apple logo, rebooting, im unable to shut it off therefore im unable to get into the DFU mode.
How can I get out of this loop? the only thing i can get into is the USB recovery mode which i can connect to itunes, otherwise i cannot turn the phone off, or even access the slider bar, or use power buttons to turn it off, it's on and juss loading over and over. doing the restore all from scratch doesn't help.

I noticed that when making a vertical panorama the iphone doesn't use a continuous focus, which makes the photo look blurry outside of the original focus area. Some of the texts come straight through to the group text while others go to the individual person's text and I have to hit a download button, then once it downloads it goes to the group text. However, some never download and just expire. If I've been gone for awhile it's kind of annoying to go through and click download on each text that didn't go to group.

After that that it quits allowing me to swipe which makes it impossible to view the rest of the photos. Why is that? My wife goes to the same exact place on her Android and can scroll through and see all the picture’s that have been posted. My iphone stops at 12 no matter whose status I look at including my own. They might have posted 30 new photos in a status update, yet my phone only lets me see 12. Again, my wife on her Android phone can see all 30.

My autocorrect has taken on a mind of it's own, and will now change perfectly fine words to completely different ones. It will change "it" to "is" or "bad" to "sad" and many other unnecessary changes. Today was the final straw, it changed "there" to "their". when the sentence was, "He's been upset since he got there." So it's not as if it was being smart enough to replace the proper tense, it was just wrong! Will there been an improvement with autocorrect in the next update, because I've decided to turn it off until this madness stops.
