so annoyed. i was playing the game fine, then got a message that there is an update, click here. couldnt get out of it. takes me to the market, i click update, it says not compatible with your device. what?
i uninstalled, tried to install again, still says not compatible. ive powered down and back on etc, no luck. am i doing something wrong or did they change the app so it really doesnt work on xoom?
i did a search but didn't,t find problems like mine. I am still on Honeycomb and have xoom 4G. I have the words with friends app installed but whenever I try to run it I get screen saying that I don't have an internet connection (I do). Same thing happens if I try to run it from inside Facebook.

I was having problems with the Canadian dictionary, I wanted to remove miss spelled words I accidentally added. Funny I got it! There is a bit of a bug so I thought I would past anyway. While there are no added words under Language Settings > User dictionary (if you are using the Canadian dictionary) you get this message - "You do not have words in your dictionary you can add words through the menu" but if you switch to the US Dictionary you will find he words that have been added. Note. I use the predictive text as a spell checker and I am impressed. Got to settings > Language & input >configure input methods > Settings > change Auto correction to aggressive. Only issue is added words are not added to the default language dictionary but the US one.

Both apps tell me the same thing when I go into google play, and also when I use a direct download QR Barcode. I get a message saying that my device isn't compatible with this version of the software. Could this possibly be becuase the apps are not tolerant of ICS yet? I figured that since the apps were newly released/updated, that they would be compatible with the latest.

I was just wondering why there are certain games in the android market that is not compatible with motorola fe. Games like gta3, deadspace, modern combat and other games.. is there an update we need? so for the other games namely modern combat 3 and GTA 3 will never be compatible with the xoom fe? The problem I'm having is that I can't move any app that is sd compatible to it. I downloaded an app sd watch showed up, I hit it and the move to sd card wasn't lit. No app will move to the sd card.

I mean I guess I'm noticing that after friends' have published their photos on facebook its almost taking 2hrs before "My Gallery" shows up. Some of my friends update takes almost half a day to show up and other friends show up pretty immediately....so very random. And believe me I've reformatted the Cell Phone and removed my Facebook acct and cleared app data/cache and sometimes it works but not all the time.
How can I remove just the "email account on My Gallery". After a reformat occurs you can set up your Facebook Account "Gallery" to syncronize to, of course, your cell phone within My Gallery. You can add/remove Facebook all you want but it seems the "My Gallery" option is greyed out; once you activate it I cannot find a way to dis engage it.
You Version and Audio KJV offline audio apps are skipping to next chapter before completing current chapter. Both apps worked fine on Razr Maxx Hd,. Tried task killer to see what may be the trigger. Tried clearing app cache and data, disabling Moto display options. Uninstalling other apps that update like facebook or weather bug.. I haven't been able to pinpoint the cause. When listening to app audio after each chapter is complete the next chapter is announced. I've noticed the next chapter being announced before the current chapter is complete but the current chapter continues without ending prematurely and sometimes it will end prematurely and start a new chapter. Its as if there are two streams from the same app competing for the channel?

View 15 Replies View RelatedWell I didn't bring this up online until now, but It didn't get resolved inspite of sending the phone to the service center,I'm running the Defy on the Official 2.2 update.When I use the phone to input text in landscape mode I face the following issues -
1. Can't select words by double tapping, implies I'm unable to correct typos which is especially irritating when I'm using skype.
2. When i try to select all the text in the field with the 'long press' the text becomes white but the foreground also remains white (its supposed to turn orange) and i can't see what I've selected.
Texting works perfectly fine in portrait mode.This issue occurs with swype, multitouch and moto-input methods.When I called customer care and said the problem wasn't resolved, I was told that there was no way to correct it. (So have i paid Rs 17,000 for some buggy phone?) Sorely disappointed with Moto's service.
So I had music on my xoom but accidently deleted it. I tried going in my computer files to copy and paste songs from my itunes into my folder on xoom called music but says wrong format. I don't know what to do.

I'm thinking the droid and moto are the same technology and it will work with the moto, can anyone confirm this? I'd love to phase out the current straps for a more reliable bluetooth. The guys using bluetooth on their phone have none of the HR spikes, drops, we do. It is much more seemless and reliable. The Moto is the only wrist device that supports bluetooth, but so far they've not been able to get it to work, so I'm wondering what the latest scoop is.

The ability to pull music, video, and other files off of a computer at home makes the most sense when used with an always-on computer that also happens to hold all of the desired files. Advertisements have stated 'Windows' compatibility, but Home Server is not a common platform and it is based upon the kernel from Server 2003 which has been made obsolete by a newer Microsoft server OS.In addition, if it does run, can Motocast be installed to run as a service? This would allow it to always be running (in case of resets / power failures) and would be most helpful since Windows Home Server is designed to run 'headless' and unattended.
