When creating an SMS text message, I noticed that it puts certain words in a gray "bubble" ... seems to be entirely random as to which words get the bubble, and it's not documented in Support.
View 15 RepliesYou Version and Audio KJV offline audio apps are skipping to next chapter before completing current chapter. Both apps worked fine on Razr Maxx Hd,. Tried task killer to see what may be the trigger. Tried clearing app cache and data, disabling Moto display options. Uninstalling other apps that update like facebook or weather bug.. I haven't been able to pinpoint the cause. When listening to app audio after each chapter is complete the next chapter is announced. I've noticed the next chapter being announced before the current chapter is complete but the current chapter continues without ending prematurely and sometimes it will end prematurely and start a new chapter. Its as if there are two streams from the same app competing for the channel?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI unfortunately just cracked my display. This means that the screen never lights up and the touch screen doesn't work. I can pretty much only use the voice commands to call people in my contacts and that is it.
I was hoping/wondering if there was some way to read text messages on my computer when I have my phone plugged in through USB. I can't use the web app since I hadn't signed up for Verizon Online and it requires getting a code through text message. I figure the phone has to store the messages somewhere so I should be able to access them using my computer.
Since I got the Motorola Droid Turbo I have not been able to send out mass text. my last droid phone I could click on people which then opened my contact list, there was boxes next to each contact for me to check multiple people. On the Droid Turbo, when I need to send out a text with multiple people there is no way I see to get to my contacts and click on multiple people. I send out a mass text every week and need to get this quirk fixed. I have also tried a few texting apps. but when I send out the mass text a message box pops up that says "SMS is sending a large amount of... do you want to allow? I click allow, but the box will continue to pop up over and over, but does not actually send out all of the texts. I only send 20 text at a time, so I'm not sure why it is not working as far as the texting app goes. Mostly I would like to be able to use the regular texting app that comes with the phone again.

If I press the lock button myself, the phone will lock and stay black with the time. If I unlock my phone and let it be, it'll turn to the rainbow colors. I have my phone on the turbo charger when this happens!
View 9 Replies View RelatedSo I went camping this weekend, and every picture I took is distorted when I'm lookin at them. Even some of my older photos are now being distorted. When using quick pic or the stock gallery, the picture looks great as a small thumbnail, but when i open the picture, a grey bar runs across the picture and the picture will be grey from the head up or the waist down. It's not the whole picture, just half of it. Was thinking about going to Verizon to show them, but I hate waiting in line for an hour only to have them say there's nothing they can do. BTW..no water on/in phone and camera lens looks in tact.

I noticed that some of my texts were showing up green and others were blue as normal. She suddenly accused me of forwarding texts when i actually hadnt so im assuming shes either paranoid and or forwarding my texts herself. she is very manipulative so it seems like she only accused me to distract me while she was doing it. would her forwarding them cause the ones she forwarded to be green instead of blue?

In messages the bubbles only go less then half way across the screen in landscape mode. Mine on the right and others on the left. I would like to extend the text bubbles to take up perhaps 75-80% of the width of the screen as they do in portrate mode.

When I enter text, it is appending it to complete the word. I did not figure out how to say OK to complete suggested word. (Example if I type go, it is showing "going". with "ing" appended with highlighted).As soon as I press space or cursor, it is deleting appended text. So, predictive text is not helping at all. It is realy not at all intutive on how to complete the word.
By the way, is there any application to show matched mutliple words? I find Android to show more than one word so that user can select one of them. It is very useful to show multiple words than single word so that hit chnaces increase.
I've found problem with xperia keyboard. While switching among words keyboard use to hide and show in a fraction of second despite of I still write text in the same text-box. It used to stay shown while I'm in the samw text-box. Also noticed it happens only I set cursor at the beginning or end of word. If cursor is set into word keyboard is still shown.

I want to take full advantage of HD video camera on my Droid Turbo, and found an external lavalier lapel microphone (Audio Technica 3350iS, which comes with an adapter for "smartphones including iPhone and newer Android phones"). But even when I use the adapter, the video recorder will only use the phone's on board mic. How can I disable/mute the onboard mic? Scoured the interweb, and at one point there was a perfect app "Mute Mic", but the NSA or Google or Motorola decided it was too useful to live.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAny way to increase (and maintain) a louder volume from the speaker while using speakerphone or Bluetooth speaker? My Maxx was awesome!! I thought for sure when I got the Turbo it would be equivalent.
I often find myself disappointed in the output. The really strange part is that I swear that it changes somehow. One phone call on speakerphone is great. Same number calls back later and not so much! I didn't change anything. I then try to increase my volume to no avail. My Bluetooth does that as well watching a YouTube video. I can start the video nice and loud. Stop it for a bit to return later and I can't hear the dang thing.
I use all factory Android software without any additional apps, etc. for volume controls. All levels are set to high. No droppage or any damage to the speaker or phone.
I used to be able to just use the side volume control and turn it all down and it would mute the ringer but allow notifications for texts and emails. That, suddenly has gone. I have tried everything I can think of to do. Setting priorities does nothing. The moment that the ringer turns off, the vibration icon grays out. I get it back if I turn the ringer to its lowest setting but I do not want that. At work, having just the vibration running for calls and texts was perfect.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOver the last couple nights I've noticed that my Turbo won't charge overnight. I often read or play games before bed and it seems if I have a few apps open and then plug it in it won't charge. If I close all the apps down then I've never had a problem.
I've also noticed it freezing up at times and then rebooting by itself if I don't close open apps.
The phone is great and at this point I don't care about Lollipop. We've had 2 S5 go bad with Lollipop and until they get the bugs all worked out I'll keep munchin the kitkat.
I have a droid turbo and it won't let me make my own music my ringtone. I've put music in the "ringtones" folder and it wont show up on my phone. I've had music in the folder before and had my own ringtones but when I tried to add more of my music to the folder or completely switch out the songs it didn't show up on my phone.
