In messages the bubbles only go less then half way across the screen in landscape mode. Mine on the right and others on the left. I would like to extend the text bubbles to take up perhaps 75-80% of the width of the screen as they do in portrate mode.
I was texting back and forth from my 4s to a fairweathered friend's 4s who is known for blackmail and threatening blackmail via social networks like FB. I noticed that some of my texts were showing up green and others were blue as normal. She suddenly accused me of forwarding texts when i actually hadnt so im assuming shes either paranoid and or forwarding my texts herself. she is very manipulative so it seems like she only accused me to distract me while she was doing it. would her forwarding them cause the ones she forwarded to be green instead of blue?
frequently, after messages are exchanged on my iPhone 4 there is a little bubble on the lower left of the message screen that has three dots. What do they mean?
When creating an SMS text message, I noticed that it puts certain words in a gray "bubble" ... seems to be entirely random as to which words get the bubble, and it's not documented in Support.
I have 4s, today I changed the font from the default "tiny" to "Medium" for Messages/Phone Contacts. I found that to be too large and reset the font to "Small" but font won't change. In addition the default Tiny font is gone (no selection for it). How can I reset the font? I've rebooted several times but no success...
When sending an MMS (in my most recent example, a screenshot), it reduced the size of the image drastically, almost to the point where the text (the reason I was sending someone a screen) was unreadable.
Is there an option to disable/change the resizing (or by how much) of pictures when sent by MMS?
Now, there IS one option that allows you to change the outbound max size of an MMS under Messages-->Settings-->MMS Settings--> Maximum Message Size. This gives 3 options, the largest being 2MB, which I have it set at. That said, this doesn't seem to impact the re-sizing of pictures (or, alternatively, how large they can be) as the phone shrunk my screenshot down to 46k and 360x640.
I can't believe that I can't find such a setting. Did they hide it? I fear it does not exist.
I've never really felt a need for so much resolution for casual pictures. I can't always easily resize to send in email and I have no need or desire to take up so much storage.
Using the native email application - it uses black/red fonts as default. Can I easily change the font colour? Can I change the font? Can I personalize the email application.
In short, after installing the 5.1.1 update, my phone seemed to lag a little on menus and such, so I did a factory reset. Everything was fine, except now after the reset, for some strange reason I can't change the screen grid size in the TouchWiz panel customization menu. The button that says "screen grid" is there, but it's now greyed out and I can't access it. I did some Googling and found that the newest version of TouchWiz (that is stock installed on S6's) is TouchWiz Nature UX 5.0; I checked "TouchWiz Home" app info under my applications manager and it says "Version 4.0".
Could it be that I am running and older version of TouchWiz (because I know the screen grid customization is a feature of the new TouchWiz) -- I don't understand that though, how could a factory reset revert to an older version of TouchWiz than what was stock installed in the first place? I know I could just install a different launcher but I am completely fine with TouchWiz, I just want to be able to change the grid size like I could before the factory reset.
BTW I have a Sprint 32GB S6 with everything unaltered -- non-rooted and everything stock. I would post a screenshot but I can't figure out how to upload an image from file.
I have read a lot about people wanting to know how to change their font size on the phone, and I've subseuently read how people are getting advice to download apps for this etc.I wanted to let you know how I do it and hope that it helps......While you are in within a text message, or, about to compose one, tap the 2nd menu button along the bottom (the one with the 3 lines). You will see the options: All messages/Quick Text/Compose/Call/Attach/MoreTap on 'More' and there is another menu, where you then choose 'Text size'.
Could someone please tell me how in god's name do you change the font size of the phone numbers in your contacts and phone logs. Also where can I get a voice command app for my N900.
