Aug 13, 2015I love the feature to slide your finger down the off screen and it pops the time and date up. but this only work if you have screen lock enabled. Like to where you have to swipe, put in a code, pattern to unlock the screen.
I'd like to be able to not have a screen lock on and have the clock still slide down from the top. Also, does one HAVE to have a Gmail account to use the phone? I'd like to not have to sign in with my gmail. I know it's Android based, but it should be an option to not use one?

May 6, 2015Sometimes the clock on the lock screen vanishes. Sometimes it shows.
I ended up doing a factory reset and that seems to have corrected the missing clock issue.

I just got mine today and love the big flip clock display and would love to make this the lock screen somehow, but it only displays when charging. I can't believe there is a setting for this? I installed Dash Clock with the notifier extensions. The problem is when I add it to the lock screen it adds it to the second lockscreen so I have to swipe across to see it. The normal standard clock remains on the main lockscreen. Am I doing something wrong? I am adding the widget by swiping from right left and clicking on the + icon, the + icon appears on a new screen not on the screen with the built in clock.

Plus, the time is already in the status bar so having a big clock on the lock screen is redundant.
How to get rid of the clock? Even i there was a way to recolor it or something maybe that would work in some cases. For example, if I could make it black then it wouldn't be visible against the current wallpaper...
My device is rooted and I have Xposed framework installed.

Now we have finally paid themes available here in Germany, have noticed many themes have the lock screen clock centered..... but for the life of me I cant figure it out. May 21, 2015Seems like when I wake up the phone, it takes a second for the clock to change to the correct time. Phone is locked, pressing the power button unlocks the display and the time stamp is from when the phone was locked, a second later the correct time changes.I've tried clearing cache on the following services, but the issue is still there. If i lock the phone and unlock it within a few minutes the time is synch fine and there is no delay. If i leave the phone locked for more than 5 minutes than the delay is noticeable.

Aug 1, 2015In short, after installing the 5.1.1 update, my phone seemed to lag a little on menus and such, so I did a factory reset. Everything was fine, except now after the reset, for some strange reason I can't change the screen grid size in the TouchWiz panel customization menu. The button that says "screen grid" is there, but it's now greyed out and I can't access it. I did some Googling and found that the newest version of TouchWiz (that is stock installed on S6's) is TouchWiz Nature UX 5.0; I checked "TouchWiz Home" app info under my applications manager and it says "Version 4.0".
Could it be that I am running and older version of TouchWiz (because I know the screen grid customization is a feature of the new TouchWiz) -- I don't understand that though, how could a factory reset revert to an older version of TouchWiz than what was stock installed in the first place? I know I could just install a different launcher but I am completely fine with TouchWiz, I just want to be able to change the grid size like I could before the factory reset.
BTW I have a Sprint 32GB S6 with everything unaltered -- non-rooted and everything stock. I would post a screenshot but I can't figure out how to upload an image from file.

Jul 5, 2010I have a 9650 issued by my job and have a password that is forced by my IT group. When the phone is locked (not just the keyboard but password enabled) there are times that the time is not updating unless I unlock the phone. My old Curve never did this, it showed the current time regardless of the password.Is there a fix for this? I saw a thread in the 9700 forum that this was an issue back in April, guess it still is? Any suggestions would be great, since I don't wear a watch anymore. My blackberry is the only way I am ever on time anymore.

However, I recently bought a new cover for my phone (with a see-threw screen on top) and figured out that I'm not able to move the clock in my lock screen.
