I want the clock to be gone away so I have more room for a cool looking wallpaper image. I don't really care about the time anyhow, I have a watch.Any ideas? I've seen tutorials how to do it on 1.1.4, but according to my research these no longer work on 2.1. I would think with the jailbreak though that surely it would be possible.
Is there any way to get the clock as the lock screen on the 9650? I just got mine today and love the big flip clock display and would love to make this the lock screen somehow, but it only displays when charging. I can't believe there is a setting for this? Sweet phone by the way, I went from an 8330.
I have a 9650 issued by my job and have a password that is forced by my IT group. When the phone is locked (not just the keyboard but password enabled) there are times that the time is not updating unless I unlock the phone. My old Curve never did this, it showed the current time regardless of the password. Is there a fix for this? I saw a thread in the 9700 forum that this was an issue back in April, guess it still is? Any suggestions would be great, since I don't wear a watch anymore. My blackberry is the only way I am ever on time anymore.
I'm using Nokia mobiles for a long time, my previous model was N70. I like screen lock feature and I always use it. In my new Nokia 5800 Alarm will not go off if screen is locked, I never had this problem with my last phone.
I set a 'slide to unlock' lock screen image in Settings/Wallpaper or via the Photos app but when I lock the phone and then turn it on the image always shows the original battery gauge picture. This is only since I upgraded to v5.1. I've tried disabling the lock screen password but with no difference.
I'm running ICS on a Droid Bionic and the lockscreen clock is wrong. In settings, I have "automatic date & time" and "automatic time zone" selected. The Lock Screen is showing 5:15pm no matter what time it is. All other time functions seem to be correct.
I love the bedside mode of the Storm 2, especially with the dock I recently purchased. The only problem is, I like the room dark as possible and even with the phone in bedside mode when charging, and the setting check to dim the clock, it's still far to bright.
Is there a way of having clock on, but have the screen go off with the usual setting to black the screen after say 30 seconds or whatever I choose for the backlighting time out, then have the screen come on if I reach over and touch the screen to display the clock, then letting the backlighting go off again after the preset time?
This would make the setup perfect for me, allowing me to use the Storm 2 as a bedside clock without having to have the display on all the time, but being able to turn it on for a short period of time as needed. If this is possible, can somebody post the settings needed
is it possible to change the locking screen of nokia X3-02? it is really annoying! i heard that by changing to some themes it also changes the locking screen, but i like the default theme i just wanted to change the horrible locking screen!
I have looked in the manual, and an online .pdf manual says where it "should" be found to make the clock display larger, but the menu on my samsung A523 does not show the options they say to use. Mine does not say Mysto Helio, just generic Telus on the front. I CAN NOT believe you can not somehow make the clock display larger.
The screen before the home page where you have to slide the lock from left to right in order to use the phone. Is there an app where I can change the look of that screen Preferably a free one.Anyways, I tried using it but nothing appears on my screen.I can't figure out why.I've deleted everything from the home screen, but still nothing.
We have two razr's both have all the same apps. We use chompsms as our texting app. On one phone it shows on the lock screen (Pic below) on the other it does not. BOTH have the stock app unchecked for default app, neither have disabled the stock app because it causes MMS problems. how one of us has it on our home lock screen and the other can't get it to do that? We didn't go to any settings to do it. BOTH of us had to do a master reset on our phones since the ICS update.
I've compared our settings and they seem to match it's really weird.
