Mar 25, 2012I set a 'slide to unlock' lock screen image in Settings/Wallpaper or via the Photos app but when I lock the phone and then turn it on the image always shows the original battery gauge picture. This is only since I upgraded to v5.1. I've tried disabling the lock screen password but with no difference.

Jun 4, 2012Whenever I lock the screen, and then get a text message, the screen will stay lit for a really long time. Like longer than it used to. I usually have to end up pressing the lock button to make it go off, but not until it I realize that it's been lit for a long time.

Aug 27, 2015Every the lock button is pressed the screen turns back on by itself after a few seconds. The same thing happens when the phone is left to timeout. Apr 27, 2015I hated the screen lock on my G5 ( only had it on one day)so tried to get rid of it - typed in password - then I tried an option and it asked me to type in password again and confirm 2nd time. Maybe I tapped in something wrong which didn't match ( did it without my glasses) - but it annoyingly said wrong password now and keeps saying it's the wrong password. What now? Dec 25, 2014I have a Galaxy S5 and I have tried changing the lock screen wallpaper using the common method described (ie. tapping on a spot on homescreen and clicking set wallpaper for).The problem is, when I do that, it does not give me the option of homescreen/lockscreen, but says "select wallpaper from" (options: gallary, live wallpapers, wallpapers). When I choose from pics in my gallary, it automatically sets it as homescreen wallpaper (no option for lockscreen).
The only time it works for the lockscreen is when it's in the "wallpaper" folder (the one with preset Samsung wallpapers). I've tried looking for this folder to add pictures to it, but I can't seem to locate the folder.So, where this folder is located or better yet, know of another way in which to set the wallpaper for the lockscreen from the gallery or other folders?

Lately there has been an issue with the lock screen not updating the time and some of the message alerts don't appear, until I unlock the phone. This is not the keyboard lock, but the lock that requires a password (corporate IT policy).Is there a way to fix this? The time is set to auto-update from the network. This started a few weeks ago and is very annoying. Sometimes it will update while locked if I activate the screen and let it sit for a minute but other times it won't at all while locked.Anyone else having this issue?

May 14, 2015Here's the problem - I pull down my notification screen and as I'm reading the notifications, my phone locks after 3-5 seconds of inactivity.
I can't for the life of me find anything in settings to change this so that I can view my notifications for a longer period of time before the phone locks. It's not so bad during the day because I'm able to check my phone regularly before getting a large build up of notifications, but it's frustrating when I wake up and have a long list that I want to read through to decide which notifications I want to read first.
