Nov 8, 2013How do you change the icons on the Nexus 5 with stock Google Launcher? I used to use the Nova launcher b/c you could customize the heck out of it, but with the Nexus 5 I'm really happy with the stock Launcher and it's integration with Google Now. The only problem is that I can't seem to customize the options with the stock Google Experience Launcher.

Mar 12, 2012I really like the home screen on my mini pro, but the launcher screen is really annoying. I now have 7 pages of apps, and there is no way to go directly to any particular page.. I am tired of always swiping through page after page. It won't even loop around, so if I'm on the first page and want to go to the last, I can't just go backwards one page.
All of the things I've found to change the launcher also change the home screen. I don't want to change anything but the launcher.Does anyone know if a way to change the app launcher screen without changing anything else? I would love to have the ability to go directly to a page and to have the pages loop.. or, one or the other even. Or else perhaps a 4x4 grid instead of 3x4.

May 1, 2015I have a Samsung Galaxy S5. Its not rooted. But I am running Nova Launcher as my default launcher. It causes my lock screen to kinda glitch out. The letters and numbers on the pin lock screen are turning into solid white blocks. I know if I restart my phone, it fixes it. But I'm just curious as to what causes it.

Apr 25, 2014I switched from Samsung. There is a function with Samsung customized version of Android that when I play video full screen and hit on/off button, the screen is locked but video keeps playing. That is a really useful function.

Apr 27, 2015I hated the screen lock on my G5 ( only had it on one day)so tried to get rid of it - typed in password - then I tried an option and it asked me to type in password again and confirm 2nd time. Dec 25, 2014I have a Galaxy S5 and I have tried changing the lock screen wallpaper using the common method described (ie. tapping on a spot on homescreen and clicking set wallpaper for).The problem is, when I do that, it does not give me the option of homescreen/lockscreen, but says "select wallpaper from" (options: gallary, live wallpapers, wallpapers). When I choose from pics in my gallary, it automatically sets it as homescreen wallpaper (no option for lockscreen).
The only time it works for the lockscreen is when it's in the "wallpaper" folder (the one with preset Samsung wallpapers). I've tried looking for this folder to add pictures to it, but I can't seem to locate the folder.So, where this folder is located or better yet, know of another way in which to set the wallpaper for the lockscreen from the gallery or other folders?

Mar 25, 2012I set a 'slide to unlock' lock screen image in Settings/Wallpaper or via the Photos app but when I lock the phone and then turn it on the image always shows the original battery gauge picture.
