I recently update a xperia Neo to ICS and I like to change the camera launcher button of the lockscreen. I need the silent/bibrator button at the lockscreen because the camera launcher it's most useless. It's essential to have a quick silent button for me.I search at settings/security/lockscreen but I don't see any option like change launcher aplication.

So, I flashed my x10a to x10i and I like the Gingerbread launcher, but I favour the previous Arc launcher that I had on 2.1.
Is it possible to just change the launcher without installing a complete ROM?
I really like the home screen on my mini pro, but the launcher screen is really annoying. I now have 7 pages of apps, and there is no way to go directly to any particular page.. I am tired of always swiping through page after page. It won't even loop around, so if I'm on the first page and want to go to the last, I can't just go backwards one page.
All of the things I've found to change the launcher also change the home screen. I don't want to change anything but the launcher.Does anyone know if a way to change the app launcher screen without changing anything else? I would love to have the ability to go directly to a page and to have the pages loop.. or, one or the other even. Or else perhaps a 4x4 grid instead of 3x4.
The camera logo at the bottom of the lockscreen has disappear after I update the phone, and I cannot directly launch camera app just long press the dedicated camera button. It's frustrating when u have to unlock the phone just to find the camera in app drawer, any ways to make the button back to the lockscreen???

The only options I get are up to five minutes and down to thirty seconds. Setting up my phone for the first time, I'm trying to download a lot of music in Groove. This'll take all night, so I wanted to leave it plugged in, unlocked and downloading.
I did this on my L930 with Win10 on it... But the XL is now showing "Never"
Anyway to turn off the lockscreen timeout, so I can let Groove do a lot of music downloads?

32GB iPhone 4S running iOS 5.1. I recently tried to open the camera from the lockscreen but instead of opening the camera app, the icon bounces and doesn't open. I used to be able to double-click to bring up the camera icon and open it from there. Double-clicking still brings up the icon only this time instead of a picture of just the camera there are bars above and below the camera icon. Almost like a 'holding' or disabling command.
I can access the camera app if I slide to unlock the screen and go from there. The camera works fine. Changing HDR settings made no difference and I can't find anything under settings or the camera app. I have not done a reformat but I did do a hard reset, turning the phone off and back on, and that hold camera icon still comes up.

There is a camera icon on the lockscreen which you can slide to gain access to the camera. In 5.1.1 when I use this it shows the entire photo library and has the ability to delete photos in the library.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently updated my Droid Turbo to Android 5.1. I did a factory reset immediately after the install and set up as a new device. I went to settings to change the launcher from Launcher3 (Turbo's default launcher) to Google. When I went in to the settings screen, the "Home" option was no longer available.
I tried force stopping and clearing memory on Launcher3 as well as Google App, but the Home option still isn't showing up.
Does the Turbo not have the ability to change the Launcher to the standard Google launcher? I miss swiping right to get to my Google Now cards .
Came to use my MA for my ride into work this morning, and the screen simply says "The application Launcher (process com.android.launcher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" and has a force close button.Hitting the Force Close causes the message to re-appear.Powering off and back on again, causes the message to re-appear.Is there a way to reset the device using the buttons (I have no menus, navigation or anything other than the message above so cant go to the config to do a factory reset).

I tried both enabling the camera to open with twisting the phone and disabling. I am running the latest update 21.44.12. I am using Nova Launcher which is updated to the latest version. I don't use the camera much and find it quite annoying that when unlocking the phone the camera opens. Any setting that I can disable so that camera will not open??

It desn't matter whether or not I had just been using the phone and don't need the password or not. It also doesn't matter whether or not I single-click or double-click it. I get the same result.
