how to change the lock screen and input my name? my brother in laws phone when he scrolls the screen the apps move in a circle not just left to right straight?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.1.1 or even other iPhone versions. Sometimes - it becomes more frequent - when I turn on the screen (the phone was on standby) and I start giving some input (e.g. sliding to unlock or entering the PIN) it will recognise my input, but then rejects it. For example when I want to unlock, I slide and when I lift my finger it rejects my input by sliding back to the start position. Another example is when entering the PIN (this happened once).
I started entering the numbers and when reaching the 4th, the input gets rejected (the last circle fills up and gets empty again). I also had it once when I had my phone unlocked already and I was looking at my home screen, sliding to the right - got rejected and landed on the first screen. When this happens the workaround is easy, putting my phone into standby and bring it back up and everything is fine. I have the suspicion, that there is a timer triggered or there should be a popup appearing - which is not coming up. And just for the record, my iPhone is not jailbroken or something.

So now that I have my Lumia 1020 in hand the first thing I wanted to try was seeing if the Pro Cam app would quick launch with a password protected phone. It doesn't. You still have to input your password.

This is only since I upgraded to v5.1. I've tried disabling the lock screen password but with no difference.

Maybe I tapped in something wrong which didn't match ( did it without my glasses) - but it annoyingly said wrong password now and keeps saying it's the wrong password. What now? View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S5 and I have tried changing the lock screen wallpaper using the common method described (ie. tapping on a spot on homescreen and clicking set wallpaper for).The problem is, when I do that, it does not give me the option of homescreen/lockscreen, but says "select wallpaper from" (options: gallary, live wallpapers, wallpapers). When I choose from pics in my gallary, it automatically sets it as homescreen wallpaper (no option for lockscreen).
The only time it works for the lockscreen is when it's in the "wallpaper" folder (the one with preset Samsung wallpapers). I've tried looking for this folder to add pictures to it, but I can't seem to locate the folder.So, where this folder is located or better yet, know of another way in which to set the wallpaper for the lockscreen from the gallery or other folders?
