View 10 RepliesI read several places in connection with the new 2.3.5 update it will be possible to separate screen time-out time from screen lock time. So that you screen would go dark after fx. 15 seconds and lock after 60 seconds

Is there a way to show what alarm times are set, for which days and multiple alarms?
The alarm icon does show on the top of the screen. But no other info.
My old galaxy nexus would show this info.
Is there a way to set this up to show?.
I have an S5 Active but it is the same in most instances so I thought I might ask here where it will likely be seen by more folks. Is there a way to extend the time out on the swipe lock screen? I would like to add a second or two so it doesn't black out quite so quickly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedEvery the lock button is pressed the screen turns back on by itself after a few seconds. The same thing happens when the phone is left to timeout. This started occurring after I left my phone to charge overnight and it hasn't stopped since. I've tried running it in safe mode, but the problem still occurs. I have also tried factory resetting, clearing cache, and a simple restart.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI use the alarm clock function on my BB 9550 and have been noticing the alarm does not ring if the screen is locked (i.e., using the power button function on the top of the device). Specifically, there is still an alarm notification on the screen (to dismiss or snooze), but there is no sound. That's a problem. Seems to work fine if the screen is unlocked.
This just became a problem with the upgrade to O/S version 5.0.0.607. Before that I noticed that the alarm would only be a low hum if the screen was locked, but now there is nothing at all!
On my lock srceen the time is in 24 hour and i can't get it back to 12 hour time

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe option to change the time for the screen to lock is greyed out on my i4 on 4.0.1. I have tried restoring twice without any success.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a new 9650 running on Verizon, OS 5.0.0.732. Lately there has been an issue with the lock screen not updating the time and some of the message alerts don't appear, until I unlock the phone. This is not the keyboard lock, but the lock that requires a password (corporate IT policy). Is there a way to fix this? The time is set to auto-update from the network. This started a few weeks ago and is very annoying. Sometimes it will update while locked if I activate the screen and let it sit for a minute but other times it won't at all while locked.Anyone else having this issue?
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhenever I lock the screen, and then get a text message, the screen will stay lit for a really long time. Like longer than it used to. I usually have to end up pressing the lock button to make it go off, but not until it I realize that it's been lit for a long time.

I'm running ICS on a Droid Bionic and the lockscreen clock is wrong. In settings, I have "automatic date & time" and "automatic time zone" selected. The Lock Screen is showing 5:15pm no matter what time it is. All other time functions seem to be correct.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo as things are perfect and smiley in the world, the way to make your day complete is to drop your brand new samsung galaxy s2 from a pathetically small height and watch as the whole screen shatters to bits. Enough to put anyone in a great mood.Fixing the screen isn't the problem though. 02 have agreed to fix it for me, for a small fee, but they have confirmed that the whole phone will be flashed before hand. This is not good. I have a lot of memories on the phone that i would like back.I have connected the phone to samsung keis, however, since the screen locked, the dam thing won't let me in to my own data. Understandably this is to ensure absolutle security to your sh** but I can't help wondering why samsung didn't install an option that allows you to unlock the phone from your computer. really need some help figuring out how I can get my sh** back. If anyone knows how to bypass the screen lock or just refresh it. Any advice would be greatly appriciated. I'm not in a great rush since my mum refuses to pay for the fix. and it'll take me a few weeks to save up.i can't unlock the phone because i can't see the screen and i think the touch pad is bust as well.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSpotify is that the full screen artwork on the lock screen has gone. It now shows a small widget that only has a pause and next track option. What happened to the full screen that was there before with my Galaxy S4 and iPhone 5s.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI miss the full screen album art on the lock screen from my lg G3 while playing any type of media (Pandora, Spotify, etc.) ... Even worked while I used xbmc (now kodi)... I believe even Samsung had this as well. While some didn't like it, I loved it!
Any way to get that back on the s6/edge?? Not sure why they did away with this.
I'm rooted, so if there's any mods out there that'll achieve this for root, let me know
So my fully updated S5 lock screen will disable itself randomly. I will have it on the swipe or code lock and several days later it will just auto put it back to no screen lock. Same is happening to my wife's S5 and we have a few same apps that we have had for a year. It could be several days to one day.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've setup my alarm snooze time as 15 minutes in the Calendar options. But each time an alarm goes off, the snooze time (displayed on the snooze button) is 5 minutes.
View 2 Replies View RelatedFirst example, last night I changed my alarm from 7:00am to go off at 6:00am. I woke up at 6:50 without any alarm. Then in my scramble to get ready, my alarm goes off at 7:04am??? I'm completely baffled as to why this happened. This hasn't been my first problem with the alarm either. I've had times where my alarm just hasn't gone off at all and made me late for class. Everytime the night before, I'd make sure the volume was on max, and it wasn't on silent mode. This is a serious problem and if I had a job, I know I couldn't rely on my phone to go off at the proper time.

can i change the repeat time of alarm clock? 10 minutes are too long!
View 8 Replies View Related1) Searching all over, there doesn't seem to be a basic alarm feature. I can create calendar a specific calendar event but that seems like overkill if I just want the phone to wake me up from a short nap.
2) The documentation says to press the Shift key twice to switch between uppercase & lowercase. This seems to work everywhere but at the begining of a line. Why the special case?
entered pin twice as it asked then went out of that, locked the phone then woke it up with home button
