BB Bold 9000 :: Can't Change Alarm Time Or Turn It Off / Can't Get Into Application
Sep 4, 2010I get the above error message when I try to change the alarm time and click on the clock icon. Could someone please tell me how to fix the problem? At the moment I can't change the alarm time or turn it off as I can't get into the application.

Feb 2, 2010I've recently upgraded my Bold 9000 software device software from v4.6 to v5. Everything work excellent EXCEPT from the Clock-Alarm Sound !!. When my hand-held is Activated, it works according to my relative settings. The problem is when I've set a Clock-Alarm time and turned my handhold OFF. When the time comes, the handheld wakes-up (as it should normally do), displays the dialog form regarding the snooze or the alarm termination but there's NO SOUND AT ALL !!. I've searched the community for regarding problems and I've tried to apply to my handheld every potential suggestion like: 1). usage of a build-in simple sound 2). a sound file stored on my handheld's device memory and not onto an external card 3). battery correct physical enforcement 4) and of course, many-many baterry pool outs (for hard reset) !! Unfortunately nothing worked !! Because i use my handheld as my main (only) wake-up alarm in the morning, I tried to make the following test: 1). Selected the "No Sound" profile (I don't want an accidental call to wake me up after midnight..).....

Apr 4, 2012First example, last night I changed my alarm from 7:00am to go off at 6:00am. I woke up at 6:50 without any alarm. Then in my scramble to get ready, my alarm goes off at 7:04am??? I'm completely baffled as to why this happened. This hasn't been my first problem with the alarm either. I've had times where my alarm just hasn't gone off at all and made me late for class. Everytime the night before, I'd make sure the volume was on max, and it wasn't on silent mode. This is a serious problem and if I had a job, I know I couldn't rely on my phone to go off at the proper time.

Jun 20, 2010Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong here? Sometimes (about 1 day a week), I'll set my alarm, but it will not go off. When I look at the phone, it'll have the pop-up indicator thing saying "DISMISS" or "off" (can't remember exactly what it says), that indicates that the alarm was triggered, but it doesn't actually make the alarm sound.Any ideas why this may be happening? I am 100% sure the alarm is set to the right time, and the AM/PM is correct, and the phone is not on "Silent", but the alarm won't actually ring? It doesn't do it all the time, but maybe only once every 7-10 times I set the alarm, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why.This is a big problem for me because I don't have a regular alarm clock, and I use it to wake me up for work. Twice this month I have been late for work because my alarm didn't go off.Can anyone out there possibly help me diagnose this problem? I think my boss thinks that I'm lying to him when I tell him my alarm doesn't go off, and it's really becoming a problem.

All of them would be deleted. I saw the same error in E72 and E63.

Nov 7, 2012Somehow, I managed to accidentally set a daily alarm (on calendar) for 7am. I tried the "menu > delete" option, it asks me if I'm sure, I click 'Yes' and then nothing happens. The alarm is stil there and when I click on it, I dont't have the option to change it from daily to weekly or anything. If I try to change the time, it stays exactly where it is. Basically it seems immovable.
