I left my BB on my desk at work (GRRRR) and my alarm is set to go off at 6am, I don't get in until 8am.Is my alarm going to be ringing until then or does it time out? I feel so lost without my BB.

My Windows Mobile device gets a full charge in 1/4th that time. Same with my DSLR camera. Is there something wrong with my battery?
I just got my bold yesterday, Ive been playing with it on and off, charged it to 100 % and installed .423. I unplugged today at 8:42 and had 3G on, sent around 50 or so texts, played about 10 minutes of Nintaii and browsed the web a little, did 2 battery pulls, and listened to Pandora for about 10 minutes.I'm at 80% now, is that normal? And how long does it take for the battery to be fully cycled and set in?

My problem is that the key is 64 characters long. When I enter the key I get an error: 'Pre-shared key must be between 8 and 63 characters long.Does someone have a solution, so I can enter the key?

Called VZW up they claim that google pushed out an update which breaks Nav. View 6 Replies View RelatedAny ideas as to what I'm doing wrong here? Sometimes (about 1 day a week), I'll set my alarm, but it will not go off. When I look at the phone, it'll have the pop-up indicator thing saying "DISMISS" or "off" (can't remember exactly what it says), that indicates that the alarm was triggered, but it doesn't actually make the alarm sound.Any ideas why this may be happening? I am 100% sure the alarm is set to the right time, and the AM/PM is correct, and the phone is not on "Silent", but the alarm won't actually ring? It doesn't do it all the time, but maybe only once every 7-10 times I set the alarm, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why.This is a big problem for me because I don't have a regular alarm clock, and I use it to wake me up for work. Twice this month I have been late for work because my alarm didn't go off.Can anyone out there possibly help me diagnose this problem? I think my boss thinks that I'm lying to him when I tell him my alarm doesn't go off, and it's really becoming a problem.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIt seems on Nokia E71, the alarm settings are lost when an alarm is activated while the mobile is turned off.The sequence which i followed was.# set an alarm with time = current time + 5 mins# switched off the mobile# When the alarm time reaches the alarm goes on and asks "if we want to turn on the phone"; select 'no'.[My opinion is that at this stage it should just inform the user that the phone is switched off, rather than giving an option to turn on the phone.]# turn on the phone and go to Menu_office_clock and check the previous alarm settings. All of them would be deleted. I saw the same error in E72 and E63.

- Alarm was set and was shown to be in use. Even the Icon in the start screen was shown
- Tried multiple times afterwards setting the existing alarm a few minutes forward. None of the attempts alarmed.
How I set the alarm is that I always edit the existing alarm, edit the time and push the alarm on.When I tried creating a new alarm (a few minutes forward), that ringed ok. But the existing alarm failed to ring
I got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.
I have a BB Bold 2 (9700). The Media Card slot wont lock down the card and keeps springing it out. If i keep the card pressed down it works but wont lock down.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have Outlook 2007 on my desktop computer and use BT as a service provider and for my email, my Blackberry supplier is Vodafone and I use BIS.I have noticed that if my Blackberry receives an email first I don't get the same email delivered to my desktop. If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.

It's just that all my other Sony phones, the alarm worked (and calendar reminder) when the phone was switched off, to wake me up ect. Is there a way to activate this so that it will work, or does the phone have to be switched on to use this facility

The Home screen says it is set for 6AM, and sure enough, it rings at 6AM. I check the clock settings and the alarm shows that it is off. I don't recall setting it (but I know I must have), so I can't figure out how to get it reset. Ideas anyone?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSomehow, I managed to accidentally set a daily alarm (on calendar) for 7am. I tried the "menu > delete" option, it asks me if I'm sure, I click 'Yes' and then nothing happens. The alarm is stil there and when I click on it, I dont't have the option to change it from daily to weekly or anything. If I try to change the time, it stays exactly where it is. Basically it seems immovable.
