Jul 9, 2011When calling or answering the phone, I hear nothing and the person on the other line hears static. Also the phone has no sound when trying to play music, but the alarm still works. Internet and texting also works. If I go Options...Advanced Options ... Host routing Table... Register now... then pull the battery it will work for awhile (an hour or two).

Mar 9, 2010I own a pearl 8100 which has worked great until recently. I have not been able to make or recieve any calls, or send and recieve any texts. The only thing i have to go on is a flashing blue arrow on the top right hand corner. It usually doesnt come on until i try to make a call which always results in a call fail. Not sure if this is relevant or not, but the phone is unlocked. It was originally from T-mobile, and its currently on ATT's network.Things I've tried.
-Hard reset
-Memory reset
-Turning off the radio signal and back on
-firmware is up to date
I'm not sure what information is necessary to solve the problem, but if you need to know anything just lemme know.

Nov 11, 2012I have a Blackberry 8230 that won't turn on. When the battery is charged, the red light flashes very slowly (about 10 seconds on, 10 seconds off). When I plug the USB cable into the computer, I see the BB hard drive for a brief second or two, then it disappears. It will appear briefly again about 20 seconds later, then disappear again. Is the battery shot? Or could there be something else going on? The phone was on the charger all night.

Jun 25, 2010I just get the run-a-round at Verizon..I had a Pearl and loved it for texting, but never used the web on it.Seemed like a waste of money for the data plan.Back to a old phone but would love to have the pearl back without the data plan.Is this possible? May 12, 2015Some of the texts come straight through to the group text while others go to the individual person's text and I have to hit a download button, then once it downloads it goes to the group text. However, some never download and just expire. If I've been gone for awhile it's kind of annoying to go through and click download on each text that didn't go to group.
