I've added my facebook account to Droid 3 and the app Social Network is working well. I've also enabled "Show friends' activities" options in Gallery but still, I can only browse my friends' albums and cannot see any friend on the Gallery dashboard. Did I miss any thing?

How often the "My Gallery" updates does it? I mean I guess I'm noticing that after friends' have published their photos on facebook its almost taking 2hrs before "My Gallery" shows up. Some of my friends update takes almost half a day to show up and other friends show up pretty immediately....so very random. And believe me I've reformatted the Cell Phone and removed my Facebook acct and cleared app data/cache and sometimes it works but not all the time.
How can I remove just the "email account on My Gallery". After a reformat occurs you can set up your Facebook Account "Gallery" to syncronize to, of course, your cell phone within My Gallery. You can add/remove Facebook all you want but it seems the "My Gallery" option is greyed out; once you activate it I cannot find a way to dis engage it.
I have an xperia mini pro (sk17i) and had no problems before regarding my gallery. In the past few days however, i dont know what i did wrong, but i suddenly could not see my facebook pictures from my mini pro's gallery. I synced a number of times but i only see the "new from friends" album but not my own gallery. Ive turned autosync on and off, restarted a number of times, signed out my account and signed in again, but nothing seems to help. there is no problem with my wifi by the way.

My husband has groups on FB so he accepts a lot of people that have a certain car but groups them together. However he doesn't want to scroll through them all to make a phone call and doesn't like the idea of having to delete thm from his FB either. Nor does he like not having pictures for his contacts.

View 2 Replies View RelatedUp till now I had been playing with a non US 3.1 Xoom. I would stick video content (mainly avi files encoded as divx) in the Movies folder. Selecting the Movie folder from Gallery would show all the content but the only program that would play them was Rockplayer which I had installed.
I know have a US Xoom with 3.2 firmware. With the same type of content in the Movies folder together with a MP4 file encoded with Handbrake to specs that the Xoom can play, Gallery only shows me that MP4 file. The other files just don't show up at all. The only way I can play them is to use ES Filemanager to browse that folder and click the filename to play it or use Rockplayer's explorer interface.
When we view the video files in the gallery, they show as tumbnail. is there a way to show the file name?

When I first booted up the phone and linked my facebook account the social network widget did not work at all. it synced all of my contacts initially and used profile picture from facebook which i though was really cool, but then it just stopped working. All the photos are gone and the social networking widget still does not work. I tried going to my social networking accounts and facebook was not there. when i go to add another account the facebook icon has a green check next to it and when i try selecting it says that i cannot add another facebook and there is no way to delete it either so i can re add my account.

However, less than half of my Gallery pictures made it over. Because the Gallery is a stock app and not in the marketplace it is not on the the above market transfer desktop application.I also have astro and estrong on my device.

After that that it quits allowing me to swipe which makes it impossible to view the rest of the photos. Why is that? My wife goes to the same exact place on her Android and can scroll through and see all the picture’s that have been posted. My iphone stops at 12 no matter whose status I look at including my own. They might have posted 30 new photos in a status update, yet my phone only lets me see 12. Again, my wife on her Android phone can see all 30.

View 7 Replies View RelatedNot long ago I took screenshots of in my phone (Xperia Z3) and camera shots which I then sent in a group chat on Facebook to some friends. Not long after I deleted them and it was fine. Recently I have noticed those photos are coming back whenever someone in the group chat sends a photo. Based on this I believe it has something to do with the Accounts section with syncs the contacts and such to your phone.

It is always the same group of images that reappear despite the fact I constantly delete them. I have tried restoring the phone to factory settings, making backups with images deleted and restoring it, removing my accounts and retrying them along with several other solutions. However, I still cannot seem to delete the photos.Â
Whenever I try to go to my gallery using my gallery button, it crashes instantly. The only way i can access it is through the camera. Is there ANY way I can fix this

I made a folder called Media / My Pix // and Media / My Flix. I know On my HTC it read my folders and grouped then which was nice.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAm looking for any insight on how to clear thumbnails of pictures/videos from my gallery that have already been deleted off my phone. I have already tried powering off/on my phone, removing/replacing my battery and unmounting/remounting SD card. Have also tried going to Settings> Applications> Gallery and then clearing the data to see if it would reset the gallery but the thumbnails remain. Also went to the Gallery> All photos (and All videos)> Menu> Select Items and checked the photos and videos I wanted removed and then tried to delete them again but still the thumbnails remain.

It is smoother when zooming in on lower resolution photos but not so much on larger files. I just thought it was odd and a bit wonky to use.
