IPhone 4 :: In Continuous Boot Loop - Won't Restore
Sep 4, 2014
So the last few days I've been having a severe issue with my iPhone 4. Basically, it restarted on me out of no where, and now it's just in a continuous boot loop. It flashes the dimmed Apple logo for roughly 8 seconds, goes black, and keeps doing it over and over.Â
I've searched Google and the Apple communities high and low, tried all the solutions, nothing work. I've tried restoring via both DFU and recovery mode, and nothing works. I keep getting Error Code 21 and 3194, and various others.Â
While in recovery mode, with the USB cord and itunes logo, iTunes will detect that it's in recovery and tells me it needs to be restored.
So, I click restore and update. iTunes extracts the software, then goes to the "waiting for phone", and just keeps going into a boot loop again.Â
I've tried TinyUmbrella to see if that can fix the boot loop issues, but it hasn't worked. Tried on several different computers, with different cords, and nothing. It's not a jailbroken device, or water damaged or anything.
I've deleted the gsp Apple jargon in the host file in my Windows>system32>drivers>etc folder, adding the hashtag to it, etc. Nothing is working for me, despite all the people replying to posts/solutions saying it works for them.Â
I was running iOS 7.1.2 perfectly before it had restarted and did the boot loop. It's now currently plugged in, with the connect to itunes screen.
This morning, I clicked on Bluetooth widget by mistake which rebooted the phone. Since then it was continuously on boot loop and keeps on rebooting itself after the XPERIA logo.It got turned on once in afternoon after which i did a factory reset and it was working fine. In eve I tried to turn the Bluetooth on and it is around 4-5 hours my phone is still rebooting continuously. It is Android 4.0.4 and never rooted, minimum apps, all are from PlayStore only.
I get a continuous loop when trying to use app Words with Friends. Any suggestions? Also, gmail keeps stopping and I have to reboot phone to get my email Need help!
My SII appears to have some kind of virus - I am getting a continuous loop of Force Close messages. Kies will not connect to the phone, it is running to the most up to date version. My phone is currently on Android Version 2.3.3 and on Gingerbread.because it cannot connect to Kies, I cannot run a back up. All my photos and videos are on the phone. I have a 3 month old baby and am desperate to save these. As I cannot back up I am reluctant to perform a factory reset as I am conscious I will lose all the data stored. It randomly turns itself on and off. The error messages come thick and fast - I don't even need to 'force Close' they pop up on their own and a constant stream of them will occur. Examples of the error messages are as follows:
Sorry! Twlauncher (process com.sec.android.app.twlauncher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force close.
Sorry! The application Email (process com.sec.android.email) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force close.
My device/phone became unresponsive, so I took the battery our to do a full reset. Now the phone stays on a continuous loop trying to start. Blackberry Torch 9800.
I have never rooted my phone nor have I flashed a custom ROM before. I have a 32 GB HTC One M9 from Verizon on stock Lollipop Android, and it has been working perfectly until this morning. I woke up to my M9 stuck in a bootloop. It would boot to the HTC logo, stay there for about 10 sec, then go black and constantly restart again (even as I type this). I can access the bootloader, but it seems none of the options work for me! I can't boot to recovery mode or even power off my phone. It just constantly boots again by itself.
My xperia z3 was a little low on battery while attempting an update (said it would only be 9 minutes...) and phone died in the process. Â Now the software update failed message appears and i cannot boot the phone. Â cannot charge sufficiently because this continuous boot process. Â tried the power+volume up to stop booting but that didnt work. Â tried to repair through PC companion. Â Told me there was no update available. Â what do I do now!
I got my EVO on Saturday morning and have found something quite annoying... twice now, my phone has gotten stuck on the boot screen and started looping. The first re-start was prompted by a software update. The second, I decided to use the battery up completely and started after charging the battery overnight. I found these instructions on how to hard reset the phone http://www.knowyourcell.com/htc/htc-...tc_evo_4g.html but would like to avoid having to do that as I've spent considerable time configuring the phone to be just as I'd like it.Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you solve the problem?
I have a problem with my phone. It has just started looping round the sony ericsson logo but without actually launching at any time.I have tried with and without battery, and also have left the battery out overnight.I have also tried to boot into any possible recovery mode but al i get is this continuous looping.
My lg g3 is stuck on a boot loop on start up I got this after upgrading to lollipop and didn't even try of flashing custom roms. I flashed it back to kitkat stock rom but this didn't solve the problem. The interesting fact is that the phone boots without any flaws when connected to the official charger but not with other android chargers with lower capacities so i'm really tempted to replace the battery I want to know whether this is happening due to a faulty battery...
Phone stuck in boot loop. Have downloaded LGNPST & DLL. LGNPST won't detect phone in upgrade mode. When pressing 5 & power buttons with phone connected to USB port phone goes into verizon download message on screen. LGNPST shows emergency mode with phone book circle highlighted in red. Click on dll tab & choose the ddl. When selecting the PB tab, can't save file in Brew_script as help topic shows. Brew_ script will open, shows brew, then mif & mod. Can't save dll. Any help? No sd card in phone.
Daughter got scammed on a Craigslist Touch Pro CDMA Alltel. It won't boot, just says Touch Pro for a few seconds then buzzes and reboots. It will do it forever. If I understand correctly, there a boot loader, then a rom. To do a non-OEM rom, you need to unlock the bootloader.Figured out how to get into boot loader mode and successfully flashed with latest ROM from HTC. Not clear if I put a new one on or reflashed the same one. No improvement. Now it says RAPH800 SPL-0.40.0000 MicroP-Hermann (etc).
I can't unlock the loader. Tried Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037 and got an error 262. In fact I tried all the others, ReLocker, Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_025_MFG just for the heck of it with the same error.I'm assuming that if I can unlock it, then put MightyRom or something similar.Would there be some other issue? Like a hardware problem stoping a preboot hardware test? It won't power on to the SPL when the battery *isn't* in place, power supply on. Nor do the boot loop run with no battery. If it's in boot loader mode, you can pull the batter.
So my iphone seems to be stuck in a reboot loop it'll display the apply logo, then the apple and a loading circle and then it shuts off briefly and starts the entire loop again. It keeps doing it until the battery dies or until I shut it off. I've put the phone into DFU mode and restored three times and I still have the same issue?
Yesterday I locked it during a meeting, and it froze shortly after I unlocked it a few hours later. None of the buttons would respond, so I decided to try the hard reset of holding the power and start buttons together for 10 seconds. It turned the phone off, but it will not reboot.
Instead, when the phone is plugged in or reset, I get the Apple logo, followed about 2-3 minutes later by the time circle which freezes as soon as it appears. The phone stays this way for 10 minutes or so, until it resets itself with a black screen, followed by a red bar battery symbol, and then the Apple logo followed by the frozen time circle.
I have tried all of the standard reset strategies (pressing both buttons, tethering while the computer reboots, holding the start button while it is plugged in, all with and without the sim installed) and nothing has gotten it beyond the loop.
The phone will go into DFU mode, but I am worried about a system restore as I am under the impression that even if it works, it will mess up my ability to re-Jailbreak it as it will upgrade the firmware to the latest version (which I have been scrupulously avoiding until now). Maybe at this point there is nothing to lose though.
I have an Apple store nearby, but I am reluctant to take it there due to the Jailbreak (although I don't know how they would know given the state that the phone is in). I would also hate to have them replace the phone with a replacement that has the new bootrom that can't be jailbroken (or have they now managed to jailbreak these too?).
help me with my N900, i've bought it las weekend, when i turned on the bluetooh the device restart and keeps restarting, i flashed OS and EMMC, the device works again but when i turn on the bluetooh is the same story, i tried the --enable--rd-mode, but the problem still there, i would like to know if it's a bug of maemo, or i need to get a new N900, pls let me know ur opinions.
I can't turn it off without it initiating a boot loop all on its own. Every time I press the power button and select "Power Off", it turns off and then about 5 seconds later the Sony screen comes back on, stays on for a few seconds, turns back off and repeats. I can break the bootloop by holding the power button for about 10 seconds and turning the device back on. The consequence is that every time I turn off my phone, it discharges totally! Â My phone is NOT rooted and it hasn't been modified in any way.
Compilation number 23.0.1.A.0.167 Kernel 3.4.0-perf-gd4d661a BuildUser@BuildHost #1 Baseband 8974-AAAAANPZQ-00027-12  The issue appeared after a few months of use, in November. I think it didn't coincide with any software update. It's not a brand new phone so I wouldn't like to  return it as I already have lots of information in there.Â
It has been now 4 months i have this Z2, unitl now everything was working fine, last day the battery drained completely, 0% and it got off. after some time i connected the phone to wall charger using original charger and cable , the screen boots and sony xperia flash and then it get off and then again keeps boot loop,  The RED led comes on and then off , and screen flash SE and keeps looping... i tried making power off holding UP + power nothing works.  i tried connecting to PCC but it also doesnt detect and keep searching phone. i tried repairing using PCC but it doesnt detect phone. i tried holding DOWN volume during power on but green led doesnt come ...
So my phone got stuck in the infamous bootloop. I am getting a new one shipped to me. I just don't know of my old one is backed up. I don't even think my contacts are. It has an SD card, but I don't think I ever set up a back up for it. Is there any way to back it up now? Sadly it won't stay on long enough to get passed the AT&T screen.
I just tryed updating to lollipop on my stock s5 and now it stuck in a boot loop is there anyway I could save my pictures on my device or get it out of this loop?
I'm having big issues trying to bring back to life my iphone 4 that i recently bought from a friend.
The iphone seems dead, without connecting to the mac it doesn't respond either by pressing the lock button or the home button. If i connect the iphone to my macbook pro the display turns on with the silver apple logo for 5 second and then it goes black again for 3-4 secs....and then again with the apple logo as an endless loop.
The phone isn't recognized by itunes, only if I put the device in DFU Lock(6secs)->(lock+home 10secs)->(home 5secs) itunes says that i have to restore the iphone in order to use it but when i click restore it give me an error saying that Itunes could not connect to the server of updates and i should try again later (since I don't have Itunes in english i tried to translate the text of the error).
I'm using the 10.6.1 version of Itunes, I think it's the latest.
edit #1: I figured out that Itunes can recognize the device even if I keep pressing the home button for like 10 secs, the display show the USB cable under the Itunes logo, I think its the recovery mode. Itunes give me the same error if I try to restore the iphone even in this mode.
my iPhone 5s (which I only got this summer) was unexpectedly caught in a blue screen logo loop earlier this week. It endlessly tried to boot up but as soon as the blue screen appeared it crashed and tried to boot up again. (Before this happened I noticed that a blue screen would light up while turning on but without any further problems...)Â
I had searched the web how to get past the loop and managed to restore the iPhone (recovery mode, etc). Everything was fine or so it seemed until it switched off again. When I tried to switch it back on the loop issue reappeared and restoring the phone wasn't as straight forward as it was the first time. Numerous attempts failed. I had it restored to factory settings, and at the end of the process there was an iTunes message saying it's been retired and the phone will appear in iTunes as soon as it restarts but... it didn't. it was caught up in the loop again!Â
Question is will i ever be able to switch it off again? If I do will it again be caught up in the loop (where I have to start it in recovery mode)???? What could possible be the issue triggering the blue screen loop? Is it software? Or hardware related? I mean I almost gave up on it before it finally, eventually started again. but I'm seriously concerned.Â
My Xperia Z2 (Andriod 5.0) went on bootloop after updating apps from play store. I tried both  safe mode and normal boot. But after boot, the system is in serious lag and will reboot itself afterwards. I tend not to wipe all my data.Â
I own a Google nexus 5 for about 14 months now and today he suddenly died on me, I was browsing the web when suddenly the screen went dark, I put it in a charger and it kept booting up again and again, I couldn't even get in some sort of recovery system because by the time I wanted to select something it booted up again. At home I tried everything using NRT (Nexus Root Toolkit) but it keeps saying my phone isn't in bootloader mode which is obviously.. I don't now if it's a software or hardware problem. It is an international 16 gb nexus 5.
My Nexus 5 device is unable to boot stock or recovery image. It's a locked bootloader, and stock ROM from my wireless carrier. I charged it with a 2 amp capable charger.
Symptoms: preceding the failure , there were strange slowdowns, apps crashing, and inability to charge the battery over the course of a day. When the battery finally died, that was the last I saw my Operating System. Now, when it's plugged in to power, it indicates full charge. If the power button is pressed it will show the Google logo, then cycle back to the battery charged icon. If the power button is held, the battery logo is skipped and Google logo displayed repeatedly. If the down volume button is pressed in addition to power, I get the screen where I can chose the recovery loader, but then the process of Google logo and reboots persist.
If nothing else, I'd like to grab built-in SD card memory contents and strip out a bitcoin key with about $40 on it that I didn't get to back up before it failed. What have I tried so far: basically everything above to generate those symptoms. I also tried opening the back, and pulling one of the top cover and unplugging the battery entirely. No effect.
I have not used my phone in any wrong way. I did not install a custom rom or anything. no root. randomly in my every day normal usage of my phone, it started to restart. and the the problem got worse and worse. for a few minutes, i will be able to use my phone but then my phone will restart and be stuck restarting. most of the times I can't even go into recovery mode. It restarts again when i get to that. I already resetted my phone, and I wiped the partition.
I have a samsung galaxy s6 SM-G920W8 telus/koodo 32 gb. i got the battery replaced by samsung but that didnt work. i noticed that after a few hours, my phone stops restarting when it reaches to 10% battery life.
I got an OTA update notification for 5.1 I downloaded and pressed install. It prompted me for a restart which i did. My phone has a setting which required me to punch in screen lock code everytime my phone restarts. Now, after restarting, it asks me to punch in the screen lock code. After punching in screen lock code, its stuck in boot animation loop ### Read some posts online and they mention " unlocking bootloader before updating. What is bootloader ? How do i check if my boot loader is locked or unlocked?
I tried to boot in recovery mode and it shows me " No command" ... I wiped cache partition through recovery mode- still no luck. It's stuck in boot loop..
Like a dummy I did a one click root I found on YouTube that is for kitkat and I'm running lollipop. Now my device keeps boot looping. I just want to bring it back to stock at this point but it won't go into recovery.
