Eseries / Communicators :: E6 Email Setup Not Working?
Feb 5, 2012Have been using my E6 for month with no issue. Friday my email stopped downloading from hotmail. I deleted the mail setup however now it won't set up. Have tried to set up a gmail as well with no success. It goes to configure the mailbox and then I get "unable to connect with the information provided. Try again". It has been doing this since Saturday 4th Feb.. I have upgraded the software on the phone and reset factory settings with no success.

Jul 17, 2010I received my E72 today with the latest firmware update 031.023. I tried to set up email many times. A message shows up "No email mailboxes defined. Create a mailbox?" I click yes and then I either go to Hotmail or Gmail to setup the account. After I enter the username and password, a message shows up "detect email settings" and the screen goes right back to the [Email] screen. I do not see a separate application to check my gmail or hotmail emails and then it goes back to the beginning with a message asking me to create a mailbox.

Mar 21, 2010i've been trying to set up an email account on my e72 but i can't seem to get it right
i get to the point where you have to select the email pproviders.i select gmail, enter my account name, then my password, press ok and it sends me back to the email provider selection list.
my only option there is press back or option.but back just takes me back to the begoning without any of the options being save.

Aug 14, 2012I upgraded my E6 with BELLE OS. Since then, it is impossible to set up my gmail account. and it is impossible to downgrade to previous OS where it was working. when upgrading my stuff, i expect better experience than before, in this case, it is worse!

Mar 30, 2011Currently, Im trying to setup three email boxes to be displayed on my homescreen on my Nokia E5-00. I already setup 3 emailboxes under Menu - Office - email; this all works perfectly.
In the beginning, I only displayed my hotmail en gmail on my homescreen. I recently (succesfully) added my work emailaddress (through exhnage/MfE), and now I want to have this emailbox to be displayed on my homescreen.
However, so far Ive only found out (through Settings - General - Personal - Standby modus - Modus settings - Emailnotofication), youre only capable of showing 2 emailboxes on your homescreen. Is there any way to get 3 emailboxes to be displayed on your homescreen?
why cant I change the name of my emailbox setup through MfE/Exchange? E.g., you can rename your gmail box to any desired name; this however isnt possible for MfE/Exchange emailadresses.

Jan 12, 2012I can view the person who had this phones email account, but I can't set my new one up. I use the "email setup wizard" go into it, connect, and then it asks me my email address, I enter the CORRECT one and that's as far as this thing will let me go. I don't even get to the part where it asks me for a Password. after I enter my email address it tries to connect to the server (which is yahoo mail) and then I get the message "Unable to connect to server. Try again later."....And that's all it keeps doing. I have no clue how to set up an email on this phone. I use it with my WAN connection and with my providers internet and get the same message both times.

Jul 28, 2015I have never rooted my phone nor have I flashed a custom ROM before. I have a 32 GB HTC One M9 from Verizon on stock Lollipop Android, and it has been working perfectly until this morning. I woke up to my M9 stuck in a bootloop. It would boot to the HTC logo, stay there for about 10 sec, then go black and constantly restart again (even as I type this). I can access the bootloader, but it seems none of the options work for me! I can't boot to recovery mode or even power off my phone. It just constantly boots again by itself.

Aug 21, 2011Yesterday was my first day trying to use my new E7 as my primary phone. I am having a major problem where the phone is stuck at the white nokia log boot screen and it keeps restarting.
In the days before, I updated from the original 13.x firmware to 14.002 though the ovi suite. After about an hour of usage yesterday, I opened the on phone ovi store application and it said an update was required before I could use it, so I let it update OTA. After the update, I opened the application and tried to get Angry Birds Free. The download started, then I pressed an in app button to do something else in the mean time and the phone froze up during the screen transition. Restarted with 8 second power cycle. Back into the ovi store to continue the download, this time the phone restarted on its own halfway through the download. Back into the ovi store a 3rd time to continue the download, phone froze up. Restarted with 8 second power cycle. Wouldn't get past the boot screen.
Yesterday I was able to get the phone to connect to my computer and I attempted to reinstall 14.002 firmware 2x, which seemed to work but I was still stuck. I was able to call Nokia Customer Care and the support person tried some of the same things I did. Then without a sim card in the device we connected to my computer, tried to reinstall firmware, it complained about no sim card. I put an old non-working sim in the device and the home screen came up all of a sudden. So it appeared to be fixed.
I'm back to the same issue today, only now my computer won't connect to the phone. I've tried 10 times. Once it connected but only as a storage drive, not to Ovi Suite.

When i try mail for exchange, its more or less same since it keeps on asking my password without any further action.

Apr 3, 2012I've just got an E7 and started to set it up. When the option to transfer the address book from another Nokia phone was chosen, the phone simply died. It doesn't turn on anymore, the light does not appear when the charging cable in plugged in, and, well, it's overall not responsive.

Mar 29, 2012I am trying to set up my Hotmail and Gmail account on my E7. When opening the email app for the first time I enter a new username and password. On the next step it only gives me "exchange active sync" as an option and not the rest of the email providers as it does on my E6 for example.

HTC :: EVO Boot Screen Loop?
Jun 7, 2010I got my EVO on Saturday morning and have found something quite annoying... twice now, my phone has gotten stuck on the boot screen and started looping.The first re-start was prompted by a software update. The second, I decided to use the battery up completely and started after charging the battery overnight. I found these instructions on how to hard reset the phone http://www.knowyourcell.com/htc/htc-...tc_evo_4g.html but would like to avoid having to do that as I've spent considerable time configuring the phone to be just as I'd like it.Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how did you solve the problem?

I flashed it back to kitkat stock rom but this didn't solve the problem. Feb 25, 2010Daughter got scammed on a Craigslist Touch Pro CDMA Alltel. It won't boot, just says Touch Pro for a few seconds then buzzes and reboots. It will do it forever.If I understand correctly, there a boot loader, then a rom. To do a non-OEM rom, you need to unlock the bootloader.Figured out how to get into boot loader mode and successfully flashed with latest ROM from HTC. Not clear if I put a new one on or reflashed the same one. No improvement. Now it says RAPH800 SPL-0.40.0000 MicroP-Hermann (etc).
I can't unlock the loader. Tried Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037 and got an error 262. In fact I tried all the others, ReLocker, Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_025_MFG just for the heck of it with the same error.I'm assuming that if I can unlock it, then put MightyRom or something similar.Would there be some other issue? Like a hardware problem stoping a preboot hardware test? It won't power on to the SPL when the battery *isn't* in place, power supply on. Nor do the boot loop run with no battery. If it's in boot loader mode, you can pull the batter.
IPhone 4 :: In Continuous Boot Loop - Won't Restore
Sep 4, 2014So the last few days I've been having a severe issue with my iPhone 4. Basically, it restarted on me out of no where, and now it's just in a continuous boot loop. It flashes the dimmed Apple logo for roughly 8 seconds, goes black, and keeps doing it over and over.Â
I've searched Google and the Apple communities high and low, tried all the solutions, nothing work. I've tried restoring via both DFU and recovery mode, and nothing works. I keep getting Error Code 21 and 3194, and various others.Â
While in recovery mode, with the USB cord and itunes logo, iTunes will detect that it's in recovery and tells me it needs to be restored.
So, I click restore and update. iTunes extracts the software, then goes to the "waiting for phone", and just keeps going into a boot loop again.Â
I've tried TinyUmbrella to see if that can fix the boot loop issues, but it hasn't worked. Tried on several different computers, with different cords, and nothing. It's not a jailbroken device, or water damaged or anything.
I've deleted the gsp Apple jargon in the host file in my Windows>system32>drivers>etc folder, adding the hashtag to it, etc. Nothing is working for me, despite all the people replying to posts/solutions saying it works for them.Â
I was running iOS 7.1.2 perfectly before it had restarted and did the boot loop. It's now currently plugged in, with the connect to itunes screen.

Dec 29, 2014I can't turn it off without it initiating a boot loop all on its own. Every time I press the power button and select "Power Off", it turns off and then about 5 seconds later the Sony screen comes back on, stays on for a few seconds, turns back off and repeats. I can break the bootloop by holding the power button for about 10 seconds and turning the device back on. The consequence is that every time I turn off my phone, it discharges totally!

The issue appeared after a few months of use, in November. I think it didn't coincide with any software update. It's not a brand new phone so I wouldn't like to  return it as I already have lots of information in there.Â

LG G4 :: Data Recovery When Phone Stuck In Boot Loop
Dec 27, 2015So my phone got stuck in the infamous bootloop. I am getting a new one shipped to me. I just don't know of my old one is backed up. I don't even think my contacts are. It has an SD card, but I don't think I ever set up a back up for it. Is there any way to back it up now? Sadly it won't stay on long enough to get passed the AT&T screen.
