I upgraded my E6 with BELLE OS. Since then, it is impossible to set up my gmail account. and it is impossible to downgrade to previous OS where it was working. when upgrading my stuff, i expect better experience than before, in this case, it is worse!

When i try mail for exchange, its more or less same since it keeps on asking my password without any further action.
How to setup gmail on my nokia e72. Its been a few months since I got my E72 and I tried to setup gmail using the email setup wizard. Everything goes well and it goes to inbox and says " Gmail Connected" but then tries to sync but cannot get any emails and inbox remains empty. I looked at the IMAP settings for gmail and they were correctly entered.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI am trying to set up my Hotmail and Gmail account on my E7. When opening the email app for the first time I enter a new username and password. On the next step it only gives me "exchange active sync" as an option and not the rest of the email providers as it does on my E6 for example.

sending mail from the Ovi account, no problem sending mail from my @home account, no mail is send it is stuck in outgoing box I tried re-installing with "via OVI" option - no luck and via standard, no luck so i checked the send parameters from provider, they seem oke?

But now each time it tries to check my mail on the accounts it asks me to accept the certificate one time or not.I cannot find out how to stop this pop up?Is there a way to accept it premanently or how do I fix this annoying problem.Sure wish we could go back to the previous o/s
View 2 Replies View RelatedHave been using my E6 for month with no issue. Friday my email stopped downloading from hotmail. I deleted the mail setup however now it won't set up. Have tried to set up a gmail as well with no success. It goes to configure the mailbox and then I get "unable to connect with the information provided. Try again". It has been doing this since Saturday 4th Feb.. I have upgraded the software on the phone and reset factory settings with no success.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI received my E72 today with the latest firmware update 031.023. I tried to set up email many times. A message shows up "No email mailboxes defined. Create a mailbox?" I click yes and then I either go to Hotmail or Gmail to setup the account. After I enter the username and password, a message shows up "detect email settings" and the screen goes right back to the [Email] screen. I do not see a separate application to check my gmail or hotmail emails and then it goes back to the beginning with a message asking me to create a mailbox.

i get to the point where you have to select the email pproviders.i select gmail, enter my account name, then my password, press ok and it sends me back to the email provider selection list.
my only option there is press back or option.but back just takes me back to the begoning without any of the options being save.
how to get out of this E72 Boot Email Setup Loop? Can hardly hit 5 key strokes between each boot.

However, so far Ive only found out (through Settings - General - Personal - Standby modus - Modus settings - Emailnotofication), youre only capable of showing 2 emailboxes on your homescreen. Is there any way to get 3 emailboxes to be displayed on your homescreen?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI had setup and Active Exchange account for my Gmail (this way I could also sync my mail, calendar, and todo lists easily). Everything was working smoothly, until I installed the Mircrosoft Apps update yesterday. Now I can no longer get this to work. It says my Inbox is empty and never finds any mail. It did work yesterday after I deleted the mail account re setup the active exchange account. But then last night I turned my phone off and this morning when I had turned it on, the account email inbox was all blank/empty. The Calendar was still synced though.Now I am trying to re setup the account, and its not working at all.(Nokia E7 Belle phone)

I use the "email setup wizard" go into it, connect, and then it asks me my email address, I enter the CORRECT one and that's as far as this thing will let me go. I don't even get to the part where it asks me for a Password. after I enter my email address it tries to connect to the server (which is yahoo mail) and then I get the message "Unable to connect to server. Try again later."....And that's all it keeps doing. I have no clue how to set up an email on this phone. I use it with my WAN connection and with my providers internet and get the same message both times.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got a brand new Nokia E7-00 (MODEL: RM-626, IMEI: *). I have connected my device via USB cable under OVI suite mode, updated Nokia PC suite to the latest version, 3.3.86), and tried to perform two operations; with no success:
#1: Backing up my Nokia E7-00.Result: Back up doesn't just complete, and the following screenshoot is previewed when phone settings are being backed up, and then phone is totally shut down (Contact, Calendar, etc.. Backup is done successfully and counter shows 100% for each).Definitely, I press continue (ATTACHED PIC 1) and turn on the phone again, having nothing changed..
#2: Upgrading my Symbian software to Belle; with no success as well.Result: after the phone is connected, back up operation starts, Nokia Suite backs up Calendar, Contacts, etc... Successfully until reaching Dictionary predetective settings to be backed up where the phone is shut down. A message similar to the above snip shot shows up saying that something went wrong, and that the phone will restart and operation will continue with no avail. I press continue, phone totally shuts down, I manually turn it on. and get the last screen shot below (ATTACHED PIC 3) (phone settings had no changes made). View 4 Replies View RelatedWhenever I read the PR statements about Symbian Belle, the older Symbian^3 touchscreen only phones such as the N8, C6-01, C7 etc are mentioned as being eligible for the Belle update, but nothing specifically about the E6-00.
Does any one know if the E6-00 will get the Belle update for sure?
I have installed Nokia Suite 3.3.89 and checked for software updates. I have Symbian Anna 025.007 installed and it says there are no updates available. Well I know there are as Belle is available.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have installed Belle yesterday on my E6. I loved the interface very much but some of the options of 'Anna' were missing here quiet to my disappointment. First of all the easy multitask viewing option of my Anna interface was missing here. Whenever I started a new program, the previous one was hard to find, even in the notification bar. I have to go again to the previous program through menu search.Secondly by D-pad is not working as it should be. Only the right and left is working, its not going up and down. I have to screen touch all the time on my E6 Maybe Belle was designed exclusively for all touch screen phones. E6 and E7 being an exception. I have to get the feedback from E7 users, if they are facing the same problem.

This morning at around 6am the phone was beeping or something so i put it on charge, i was too tired to realize the kind of sound it was so i put it on charge and went back to sleep and found it off later on, i tried hard resetting it, putting it on charge, but it won't come on.I lost connection to my phone during the installation of the update but after doing the the installation process it worked fine)

View 4 Replies View RelatedIt seems I cannot delete individual folders on the E7-00 mass memory. I mis-spelled a folder name and wanted to delete it. You can only select multiple folders and not individual folders to delete or rename.
Had to use USB connection via Windows 7 to delete folder on phone mass memory.
i purchased nokia E7-00 with symbian Anna and then upgrade it to Belle but i didnt comfort with the new look of belle , so i want to downgrade to Anna

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter upgrading to Belle on my E6, Ovi Sync is no longer working. I was using the Belle beta version (unofficial version) before and it was working fine. Now after the update to the official firmware 111.130.0625 it's not working anymore.

The SIP client at my Nokia E6 with Belle can not login to the VoIP account. I receive error message - Incomplete settings please contact your service provider. With the same set of parameters my previous Nokia phones E75 and E61i worked fine with the same service provider. I have contacted help desk of my VoIP service provider and they told me me they have received huge number of similar notifications related to Anna and Belle. Moreover they told me that this issue has been reported to Nokia and they hoped the problem will be solved soon but so far it has not been solved. The VoIP provider I use is IPFON in Poland.
Has somebody faced similar problem with the same or other VoIP provider? Or any specific parameter differences between older generation of phones and Anna/Belle that should be taken into consideration while setting up the VoIP in E6.
Just updated my E6 to belle, I waited for update to be available in Slovenia. Now I have nice phone, not a smart phone. I did reset the phone several times.
Now I have problems:
1. connecting to WIFI, my phone finds my wifi network, I can connect to it, but soon the connection is lost and when I try to connect again - it finds the same network - market as unknown, (it does not remember the wepkey,
2. browsing the internet - problem because loosing connection to wifi network.
3. setting gmail only through wifi - I can set it up, when trying to download any mails, I get a notice- mobile connection is unavailable, but I cannot set it to connect via wifi - as I had it set with Anna.
4. connection settings for phone and apps - I have less settings, cannot set it as I could with Anna.
I have an installation of "DataWatch" from the Nokia Store that initially failed when my phone lost service in the middle of installation. Nothing I do seems to stop it from showing installation in progress in the store "says 'Installing.'
I've tried power off/on. I've tried holding the power button down for 10 seconds for the "completely power off" option (E7-00.) Given the amount of time required to put things back, I don't want to do a soft reset or a hard reset.
