I've noticed it a couple of weeks ago that the words are not being separated when I text, email, or bbm. Today is unbearable as I have to press the space key several times in between words - not every time but most of the time. I keep my phone well protected and, no, I'm not using it a coffee coaster.

View 9 Replies View RelatedOnly recently my telco releases OS5 for BOLD 9000. Initially I downloaded it and tried to install but it says that there is insufficient space, at that point of time i still keep my fav theme ans stuff which free apps space is around 20mb, and the installation still says that I have insufficient space until I totally wipe the whole thing clean to its original factory status BUT it still says insufficient space for update. Do I have to delete the system software of 4.6 before I need to have the "space" required? (I have currently 50mb of free apps space isn't it enough?)
Please help as the previous update from earlier version to version 4.6 was just few clicks away from desktop manager and things are done and for this 4.6 to 5 update takes me 1 whole day, loosing all my setting and data (cleaned EVERYTHING that I can think of and read all the thread in CB still I can't update to OS 5) Its a Real waste of time and pain from head to toe. I have 50mb of free Application storage space and yet it still needs 7mb of space for the update. I'm thinking of sledge hammering my Bold a couple of time through the process of deleting and restarting.
I increase my SD card space limit - now I'm using 1.8 GB , can I replace it and use bigger limit without having troubles on my BlackBerry bold 9700?
View 5 Replies View RelatedRecently I have been getting low application data free space messages on my balckberry bold 9700. I have upgraded the OS to version 6.0 bundle 2115. There are not much third party applications on my phone. From the application management screen I am seeing the OS taking up approximatey 127MB and the combined storage used by the third party applications I have running on my phone is approximately 50MB. However, I am seeing that there is only 7MB free out of 250MB of application data space.I suspect that the old OS is still stored on my phone in some system folders. Where can I find these files? and how can I troubleshoot this further?

"The device does not have enough space for your selections. Select fewer applications."
I am using BlackBerry Desktop Manager v5.0.1. My phone actually has Application Memory Free Space 301.5 MB. My BlackBerry's version is 5.0.0.732. I cannot update or delete software using BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
My 9700 will video for approx 17 secs using 277kb before it says No space left to record video. I have a 4gb media card.

Right under that it says "*No Contacts*" And then there are like 5 empty spaces, and only then are the contacts. When I try to save a new contact, it occupies all the empty spaces, and I would have 5 straight contacts with the same name! help!!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to update the software on my Blackberry Bold to OS 5, using the Blackberry Desktop software on Mac OS 10.5. However, each time I try and do the update I am told there is not enough free space on the phone. I have done the soft reboot and now have around 28 MB of free memory. The Blackberry Desktop software tells me I need 22 MB to install the updates. I have three email accounts set up to store messages for thirty days, and very few applications (Facebook, Google Maps etc).The applications I have on my phone do not add up to 22 MB, so even deleting all of them would not create the free space needed, and I don't think all the stored e-mails should take up too much space (unless attachments are stored on the phone memory as well - can someone confirm whether they are?)
View 9 Replies View RelatedI moved to BlackBerry Bold 9700 about two weeks ago. Everything works great, except for one issue. Images in my HTML email messages don't download. I have tried all combinations of settings on automatically download images and confirm images download, in the Options > Email Settings menu. What happens is: When I hard reset the phone (take out the battery and reinsert it), and then do Get Images, images download. However, this continues only for some 3-4 hours, or say about 10-15 messages. After a point, Get Images doesn't download images. Even the arrows on the top right of the screen, that indicate an attempt to download, don't come. It almost seems like the phone has kept a limited space aside to download images in HTML messages, and this space is filled up and hence it stops downloading. The moment the battery is taken out and reinserted, Get Images works. But again for some time only.Tried taking Vodafone's help. They updated my Service Book, which according to them is the "standard solution" to Images downloading problem. But nothing happened. Which is expected, because they were possibly giving me a solution for images never downloading. In my case, they download for a bit, and then refuse to, till hard reset.Tried finding where any memory related settings could be there. Found a thing in Settings > Memory > Compression. Tried both Enabled and Disabled, it doesn't help.

View 5 Replies View RelatedFor about a week my phone has been adding extra periods and spaces when I press the space bar. This has been happening with SMS, MMS and email. I knw about that short-cut (press the space bar twice to enter periods) but its doing that after almost every word. I have changed the sensitivity to the lowest setting possible but it continues to do it, even when i text slow. Not sure as to what I should do.

I have 3 mail accounts connected to my bb. Originally all posted to one folder messages folder in the message 'center' where all the sms etc go into (middle of the screen icon at the top) i am not sure what has started to happen but suddenly i then had 2 messages folders and now i have 3. They all go to the same place and sometimes contain the same message which just appears in all 3.
I think this started when i started configuring the sync of the deletion of the folders "folder reconciliation". how i can delete these additional folders as they are just a nuicense they mean very little as mail is randomly flowing into them.
I had recently downloaded and installed the new os 7.1.0.267 os from SK Telecom form the software download page of on blackberry site to my bold 9900. Upon doing that i was able to access the new mobile hot spot feature and even set it up for use after calling my service provider for the APN which is Lime Jamaica. I even tested it by using another phone which detected it. However sometime afterwards about 30 minutes to an hour later while listening to music my headset got pull out by mistake and upon putting it back in realized music wouldn't start playing back after pressing the side button. Unlocked the phone only to see the play icon highlighted in music player but nothing wouldn't register when clicked with trackpad or touch screen. plus got a message on the screen saying that device media player was busy, which continued for a while. Did a battery pull afterwards which fixed the problem. However a few hours later when i decided to show a friend the new feature and test it by connecting his phone, upon accessing the connections menu the mobile hot spot option was missing even in networks and connections. essentially it disappeared form the phone the only apps on the phone besides the default ones was wikitude and whatsapps. Even after a factory reset it didn't return. Did a clean wipe of the os and installed the os again upon which the hot spot option returned only to disappear again after about a few minutes at which time no extra apps was insatlled just the default ones. Have no idea whats causing this and whats worse the 7.1.0.267 download has been removed from the Sk Telecom link.

i got a 9900, just got the BIS from Vodafone NZ, but here is the thing...i can send and receive txt and call, even use bb internet brower to surf internet but i can not use BIS, like facebook, twitter etc also push mail.checked with Voda NZ, they said my phone is regist under another provider therefore i can not use it in voda but it is new one, im the first owner.

I dont seem to be able to DL OS 7.1 for my bold 9900, I am based in South Africa and use Vodacom as my SP.I tried to update my software over the air this week but it tells me my software is up to date, yet my phone tells me that my software is version 7.0 Bundle 2406.
Is 7.1 not available in SA or over the Vodacom network?
I really want to upgrade as some of the features on 7.1 are what I am looking for.
After years and years of iPhone use I just want to add words to the dictionary, for example hell comes up as he'll etc.Why carnt we add our own words!?

It happens no matter which application I am in and no matter which keyboard I have active. This never happens on the Note3.
