My Blackberry Bold 9900 is not turning on.Details: A battery pull has not fixed my problem.I tried using another 9900 battery, however it did not work.My battery does not work on other 9900 devices. There are no signs of moisture, nor has there been contact with water. The LED light doesn't show, nor does anything on the screen.
I have 3 mail accounts connected to my bb. Originally all posted to one folder messages folder in the message 'center' where all the sms etc go into (middle of the screen icon at the top) i am not sure what has started to happen but suddenly i then had 2 messages folders and now i have 3. They all go to the same place and sometimes contain the same message which just appears in all 3.
I think this started when i started configuring the sync of the deletion of the folders "folder reconciliation". how i can delete these additional folders as they are just a nuicense they mean very little as mail is randomly flowing into them.
I had recently downloaded and installed the new os 7.1.0.267 os from SK Telecom form the software download page of on blackberry site to my bold 9900. Upon doing that i was able to access the new mobile hot spot feature and even set it up for use after calling my service provider for the APN which is Lime Jamaica. I even tested it by using another phone which detected it. However sometime afterwards about 30 minutes to an hour later while listening to music my headset got pull out by mistake and upon putting it back in realized music wouldn't start playing back after pressing the side button. Unlocked the phone only to see the play icon highlighted in music player but nothing wouldn't register when clicked with trackpad or touch screen. plus got a message on the screen saying that device media player was busy, which continued for a while. Did a battery pull afterwards which fixed the problem. However a few hours later when i decided to show a friend the new feature and test it by connecting his phone, upon accessing the connections menu the mobile hot spot option was missing even in networks and connections. essentially it disappeared form the phone the only apps on the phone besides the default ones was wikitude and whatsapps. Even after a factory reset it didn't return. Did a clean wipe of the os and installed the os again upon which the hot spot option returned only to disappear again after about a few minutes at which time no extra apps was insatlled just the default ones. Have no idea whats causing this and whats worse the 7.1.0.267 download has been removed from the Sk Telecom link.
I dont seem to be able to DL OS 7.1 for my bold 9900, I am based in South Africa and use Vodacom as my SP.I tried to update my software over the air this week but it tells me my software is up to date, yet my phone tells me that my software is version 7.0 Bundle 2406.
Is 7.1 not available in SA or over the Vodacom network?
I really want to upgrade as some of the features on 7.1 are what I am looking for.

I bought 9900 7 months ago and phone has 3 years warranty. After ı used phone 4 months, One night, before sleeping, I plugged it to charger and went to sleep.Morning my mobile was dead. I took out the battery and the reput it. only red indicator was blinking.
- I tried to reinstall BBOS 7 but phone was not connecting to desktop software. - I tried bbsak it also couldnt connect - I tried to install OS with application ( after deleting vendor.xml file) loader, but when it comes to middle it gives " JVM couldnt be loaded "
Then I putted it into its box and went to warranty service. Warranty service took it for a week. Then they called me and said, You have your phone dropped and thats why your phones "mainboard" and "processor" has been damaged. So, it will cost 50 dollars for fix.I said, I didint drop the phone and there isnt anything visually damaged on the phone(It is same as new phone), On the other hand phone has warranty, so why should ı pay 50 dollars? because you have dropped your phone and it makes it out of warranty.
Then I gave 50 dollars and waited for a week. while waiting I realized something. what kind of "mainboard and processor cost 50 dollars? Isnt it very cheap? even impossible.
anyway they called me and said that " we couldnt repair your phone and your phone is dead Now, I really dont know what to do, and dont want to live it like that. Somehow I have to access to blackberry or RIM and explain my situation.
BUT HOW? I live in Georgia, I am Turkish and there is no official blackberry service in this country, So What can I do ?

My Blackberry Bold 9900 is running OS 7.0 and i've tried updating it through the blackberry site and the blackberry desktop manager and both say I'm running the most up-to-date version. Is there anything I can do to update to OS7.1?

I purchased my 9900 the end of last month and got the goodies along with it. For some reason for the past couple days I keep losing my data services and i either have to reboot or cycle the mobile network connectivity.OS. 7.1.248
I just bought this phone and the next day when i wanted to download an application or remove one of my email accounts, it asks for blacberry id username and password but it cant log in. i changed the password, removed battery started it without sim card but nothing helps.
I purchased my bold 9900 directly from Rim in February, and I noticed thatit recently keeps turning on and off by itself, sporadically. Once it turnsback on, it will immediately turn back off, and restart the process atleast 2-3 times. This is a nuisance because it happens many times a day. I have tried turning it on/off with and without my sim card, but it isn't helping?
I have a Blackberry Bold 9900. The phone worked for about 3 months and then it just died. It won't start up or charge. I went to T-Mobile Netherlands for repair. They said they could sent it for repair at my own cost. This should be warrenty right?
My Blackberry bold 9900 keeps on rebooting. The problem occurred when I switched on the phone after a 6 hour flight. I have removed the sim, memory card and battery but noting doing. It keeps rebooting.
my blackberry bold 9900 keeps turning off and on with the battery. but when i use my charger it stays on. i have tried to restore the OS several times but no .

I can log in fine, as soon as i pick an app to download i accept the terms and conditions it says please wait....and then it goes back to the screen where i clicked download and i have no new apps.

I have the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and today for some reason it has completely gone mental. My bbms wont send, my texts are taking forever to send and I can't ring out?
I have been using a blackberry bold 9900 since almost a year now. I have never faced any problem with it before. But since last 1 month, my device switches/turns off by itself. Sometimes it turns off while I am using it, and sometimes when i remove it from the cover(holster), i find that it is turned off. the auto on/off feature is not enabled. this problem was very rare earlier, but since last few days, it turns off many times a day. I have the latest software update and few days ago, i again re-installed the device software. But it did not help. Below are the details of my device?
I bought a blackberry bold 9900 last week .. it worked fine for a week and now it doesnt charge.. is there any solution for this? or shud i return the phone and get some other phone.
My blackberry 9900 bold seems to randomly reset it self. I will find that the logon screen as gone to a white background and when I log in all my icons seem to have shrunk to a very tiny size, some are missing and I can read email but not respond. Have reformatted it twice but issue still pops up again. Can almost guarantee it will happen if the system is rebooted.
I am trying to modify the settings of an email account I have set up. Using Setup/email accounts it requests an ID Username and password. I have typed in I believe valid user ID and password and get the message "unable to log in to your Blackberry ID account". This is a different message to that if I type the worong password as that says "the user name and password do not correspnd to a valid balckberry ID". I've tried resetting the password and I can log into the web site using my ID and passord, but not my phone.
this just happened yesterday. i left my bb 9900 for a couple days without using it and yesterday i noticed that battery is running out, so i plugged into usb power and left it there for charging. the next thing i saw is slowing flashing red LED. first thing came to my mind was that device did not get charged. so I plugged into a pc and then my pc keeps showing device connected but not recognized (at this state, the LED on BB is showing red), after a few seconds, my pc shows device disconnected ( LED shows off at this state). after another few second (about 20 seconds) , red LED again and my pc showing deviced connected again. And yes I have latest blackberry manager installed.
this simply keeps on and off. it seems device trying to power off but cant and then reboot.i tried pulling battery off, no use. in fact, this even happens when it's on battery. it's weird, it was working fine before i left it on table for charging.
My Bold 9900 purchased from Cable and wireless Barbados vendor id 131 only displays 3g even though Cable and wireless has launched a 4g network. Do you know why this is?
My phone is a 9900 unlocked from Rogers. My phone is absolutely working fine EXCEPT for the GPS. I can get the GPS to see any satellite. I tried running self test from the option menu and always the same result. Since it is a Roger phone, the warranty is with them and I don't think they will service it b/c I am on a telus plan. I know I can get a temporary Roger plan but I rather not. I tried the phone in a lot of locations but still the same result.
I have a friends BB and it's not powering on. It only shows a red led. I've tried the Apploader it detects my phone but then it asks me for a password and I dont have any password.
Bold 9900. Not Recognised By My PC I suspect that this question may have been posted before, but I can't fin it on the forums, so here goes...I've just purchased my Blackberry Bold 9900. The only Apps it has are those that are pre-installed. It has (I think) 8Gb of memory and a further 32Gb from installing a memory card. After 3 days of playing with it, the network service provider (Vodafone) has only just enabled the SIM card and it is now fully functional. However, a problem has occurred at exactly the same time. This may be just a coincidence or it may be related in some way.
I have downloaded and installed the Blackberry Desktop Software onto my PC and connected the Blackberry via the USB lead provided to my desktop PC. Except now, my desktop PC no longer recognises the Blackberry. It's as if the USB hardware isn't working properly ...yet all the other USB devices work fine when I use the same USB port.
My PC runs Windows XP and has plenty of RAM and Hard Disk space. I've tried going to Add Hardware from PC's control panel to check-out the problem but without success. The odd thing is that it only happens with the Blackberry. Adding other hardware isn't an issue and this wasn't a problem whilst my SIM was off-line and whilst there was no mobile phone signal.I wonder if I've played around with the Blackberry setting and accidentally switched-off some function or other?
I recently changed from a torch to a bold 9900 and i love the phone but for no apparrent reason it just reboots 2 or 3 times a day this is a problem as on a few occasions I needed to make calls and have to wait for the boot screen to finish.
Not long after bought it, noticed that my device rebbots at least once a day and mainly when unplugging after charging it through the night. Also noticed that the battery does not hold as much as other BBs' that I have had.
