Recently upgraded to Bold 9900, I cannot log on to app world from the device, my e mail is correct and also password, my PIN is correctly identified
BTW I can log on to App world through my PC with the same e mail and password.
I have been searching the net for a fix for the annoyance of not being able to access the blackberry app world on the blackberry 9900. I can log in fine, as soon as i pick an app to download i accept the terms and conditions it says please wait....and then it goes back to the screen where i clicked download and i have no new apps.

Since then App World application is not working nor is the Email Settings working. Even though on giving my passwords to Vodafone all mails are now working but not the settings if I have to edit them.
App World just shows a message Please Wait and the wait is endless and I have deleted and reinstalled App World Thrice on my phone and also rebooted it. S
Is there anyone who knows how to solve the problem when you canīt login to the Bold 9900 appworld when it works on the web on the playbook etc. Gets the message "Unable to login to your BlackBerry ID account"

I have tried deleted the app world app and installing it again from my phone or installing it from my computer but I still get the same problem and its quite annoying as well. My phone software version is 7.0 bundle 2406 (v7.0.0.585,Platform 5.0.0.734)

Please login to continue. (Error Id: 30702)". When I first saw it I was like ok. So I clicked on My World to sign in and it said it again, I don't know what to do.

It still appears as an installed application, but there's no way to find it and run it. I know this was an issue last year with another phone, I am surprised if its still a bug? I know there has been a recent upgrade to app world and I've backed up my phone.

I can sign in to BB App World but when I select > My World I get the Error Message: "APP World Web Plugin Error - An Error has occurred communicating with the BB App World Client." I am connecting my 9900 in order to sync my apps with App World following a security wipe to resolve the BB ID Issue with OS7.( The security wipe does resolve the BB ID issue). I have the same problem when I have connected using 2 different PCs. One running Chrome the other Running Firefox.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy BB ID works on the Blackberry website, but I can't use the BB ID on my new Bold 9900 (it says 'unable to log into your Blackberry ID account'). Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked. I'm unable to access Blackberry protect and 'my world' in Blackberry App World, or do anything that involves using my BB ID on my phone

Originally all posted to one folder messages folder in the message 'center' where all the sms etc go into (middle of the screen icon at the top) i am not sure what has started to happen but suddenly i then had 2 messages folders and now i have 3. They all go to the same place and sometimes contain the same message which just appears in all 3.
I think this started when i started configuring the sync of the deletion of the folders "folder reconciliation". how i can delete these additional folders as they are just a nuicense they mean very little as mail is randomly flowing into them.
I just got Bold 9790, and it works great aside from two things. Firstly, it won't allow me to enter App World. The error message reads: Your system administrator is preventing you from using BlackBerry App World. Contact your system administrator for details, Also, it won't allow me to update the OS from 6.0 to 7.1.

i get up today an go on my phone to find my bb app world has gone and so has my bbm. I have tried downloading it all again but nothing is working, it is driving me mad i just want my bbm back. View 1 Replies View RelatedI had recently downloaded and installed the new os 7.1.0.267 os from SK Telecom form the software download page of on blackberry site to my bold 9900. Upon doing that i was able to access the new mobile hot spot feature and even set it up for use after calling my service provider for the APN which is Lime Jamaica. I even tested it by using another phone which detected it. However sometime afterwards about 30 minutes to an hour later while listening to music my headset got pull out by mistake and upon putting it back in realized music wouldn't start playing back after pressing the side button. Unlocked the phone only to see the play icon highlighted in music player but nothing wouldn't register when clicked with trackpad or touch screen. plus got a message on the screen saying that device media player was busy, which continued for a while. Did a battery pull afterwards which fixed the problem. However a few hours later when i decided to show a friend the new feature and test it by connecting his phone, upon accessing the connections menu the mobile hot spot option was missing even in networks and connections. essentially it disappeared form the phone the only apps on the phone besides the default ones was wikitude and whatsapps. Even after a factory reset it didn't return. Did a clean wipe of the os and installed the os again upon which the hot spot option returned only to disappear again after about a few minutes at which time no extra apps was insatlled just the default ones. Have no idea whats causing this and whats worse the 7.1.0.267 download has been removed from the Sk Telecom link.

View 10 Replies View RelatedMy app world told me an upgrade was available (3.1.0.58) for my bold 9780. I am using software 6.0.0.294. Once I installed app world upgrade and bbm upgrade the icons disappeared. I've tried reinstalling them, battery pull, all the usual tricks.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have had my BB Bold 9780 for 2 months, my app world logged in fine on the first day then I tried a week or so later to download some app's and it wouldnt let me log in! It will say Authenticating for a few seconds then the message An error has occurred. Pleas try again later. I have since tried basically every day with the same message appearing. I even made a new BB ID thinking it was just mine not working but have just had the same problem! Have deleted and re installed the app world and also done a software update on the full phone but still getting nowhere!

The new phone I was given had a fault and I was told that this is very common with refurbished phones which is what you are given when you claim a new phone with insurance with my network.Today I got my second refurbished phone and am currently trying to set everything up i.e.. The new facebook, bbm, and various other apps I've lived with for a year on my old phone.The problem I'm faced with is that every time I try to download anything via appworld, it comes to a certain point, mostly when trying to log in or sometimes it gets as far as starting to download yet not further than that, the screen freezes and pop up announces that:'blackberry app world is having trouble connecting to the blackberry app world server. Verify your network connections and try again'So..Is this a fault in the phone maybe because it's a refurbished phone and therefore not reliable or truly 'new', or is there anything I could do/try to get some apps!?
