When i connect my bb to wifi network and use the browser it works perfectly but when i use apps such as app world,facebook app,wats up,twitter,google talk,msn messenger.etc won't work but when i restart my mob the apps also works fine till i take the mob far away for any wifi and connect it again and get same problem.
View 1 RepliesI've upgraded my 9700 to OS-6 from OS-5.When I was on OS-5 and on a call I could press Menu and scroll down the list until I got to Calendar, click and it opened the Calendar so I could check appointments while still on a call, this was pretty handy and I regarded it as essential to making my day easier to manage.Since upgrading to OS-6 I can't find how to access Calendar while engaged on a call probably something simple.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to upgrade my BB Bold 9700 via the blackberry automatic web site. I also have downloaded the 9700 software from TMobile. I have upgraded and restored my BB9700 3x now and each time after upgrading, it prompts that my SIM card is invalid, and thus I do not get any service. I can restore my BB9700 to an older version, then everything works just fine. I don't get why I am unable to upgrade to the newest 5.0 software though?

I've tried the upgrade via TMobile's bbugrade site as well...
All tries do the same, my SIM card after the upgrades is "Invalid"...Does anyone have any answers on how to fix this, or do I have to stay with the older versions to keep my phone working.
My BB ID works on the Blackberry website, but I can't use the BB ID on my new Bold 9900 (it says 'unable to log into your Blackberry ID account'). Vodafone suggested I cleaned the memory (options, security, advanced security, memory cleaning), and then tried to delete my old BBID (the one that worked on my old Bold 9700) and set up a new BBID, but that didn't work either. After looking online others have tried security wipes but many say they haven't worked. I'm unable to access Blackberry protect and 'my world' in Blackberry App World, or do anything that involves using my BB ID on my phone
View 9 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from a BB8830 (Telus) to a 9700. When a new sms txt comes in it only shows the number rather than the name even though they are in my contacts. The 8830 did not have this problem. I dop subscribe to Caller I'd although that has nothing to do with sms.
View 11 Replies View RelatedMy BB9700 from AT&T has been pretty reliable for me in the past 7 months, but in the last week, I started noticing that the device wouldn't keep my multiple email accounts segregated. I have 4 email accounts on my device (1 BES for work, 1 personal for my 2nd job, 1 personal for personal, 1 blackberry). I normally use the 'messages' folder to look at everything, but if I want to look at just my personal or work accounts, I go to those individual mailboxes. This week, all my messages were showing in all mailboxes, including my BBM's and SMS messages (which have never showed up in the individual mailboxes).
Did I flip a setting by accident? How do I get it back? If I'm off the clock from my day job, I only want to read the 2nd job / personal emails, not the BES emails.
The track pad on my 9700 is slightly titled in towards the upper left corner. Is this a defect or is this normal?

i get up today an go on my phone to find my bb app world has gone and so has my bbm. I have tried downloading it all again but nothing is working, it is driving me mad i just want my bbm back. View 9 Replies View RelatedI have had my BB Bold 9780 for 2 months, my app world logged in fine on the first day then I tried a week or so later to download some app's and it wouldnt let me log in! It will say Authenticating for a few seconds then the message An error has occurred. Pleas try again later. I have since tried basically every day with the same message appearing. I even made a new BB ID thinking it was just mine not working but have just had the same problem! Have deleted and re installed the app world and also done a software update on the full phone but still getting nowhere!

I've recently experience water damage with my phone and had to claim off insurance. The new phone I was given had a fault and I was told that this is very common with refurbished phones which is what you are given when you claim a new phone with insurance with my network.Today I got my second refurbished phone and am currently trying to set everything up i.e.. Verify your network connections and try again'So..Is this a fault in the phone maybe because it's a refurbished phone and therefore not reliable or truly 'new', or is there anything I could do/try to get some apps!?

I'm trying to see the screenshots of programs in blackbery app world for my bb bold 9700. I have the latest firmware too, 5.0.0.714. Funny enough though is that no matter what firmware I updated to I was never able to see the screenshots.
Also I'm having problems with the text messaging once in a while where after I've talked via text for a while, I would send a message and it would screw up a little where the screen is out of place.. I would then back out and I can't get back into the message without having to delete the message and start over or pull the battery.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy app world is not working.it is like stuck when i click on the App world.I am using a BES+BIS account and there is no restriction to open app world on BES.My app world used to work perfectly fine.Once after i wiped date and reconfigured my BES it worked for some time and this issue started.Now also if i am not using BES and try use appworld on a fresh or wiped BB,it works fine.As soon as i configure BES it works for some time and then this issue starts...My BB Team even deleted my BB BES account and created a new one,still this happens.
To add to the issue..i had the issue of battery draining when i activate my BES with 3 different device..when my account was deleted and a new one was created,the battery draining issue was solved(seems like some corrupt database,havenot got any credible reason from anyone)...
