I am forwarding a message. before emailing it, i am trying to edit it but cant do anything. how to delete for example some words or the sender of the forwarded message? maybe there is any app able to assist me on this?

View 1 Replies View Relatedatt bold 9700.uber Noob with BB.Company email is Microsoft exchange "outlook" web based, so I can log into my email with username/password from any basic internet access port. company has BES for BB users and I've got BIS data plan. I'd rather not pay for the higher data plan as I pay my own expenses (including device and mth charges) and I don't have to have real time/instant email access to company mail. I WOULD like my phone to have it receive my comp mail by having my outlook email "forward" it (i've tried that with no success) or by programming my BB to "go check for mail" from that account every so often.
any ideas on how I can get my company "outlook" email to forward to my blackberry email? or even my YahooMail (it notifies me already)

Have my email and everything working good, transfered contacts over from my mac (Powerbook G4, runnung OS X 10.5.5) using DM and now i can't delete or edit almost all the contacts (68). Please advise what's the best thing to do? also when i plugged my BB in today, the DM advised some updates....all from BB (i don't have any third party software) and after the install all my sms's were deleted

I have tried to hold down the proper word and the auto correct version and can't get rid if it. Maybe the corrected version is hiding somewhere else other than dictionary? Obviously I don't want to use caps in "have" all the time. I don't even remember saving it as so.
I am brand new to Blackberry and am trying to edit my address book. All the telephone numbers from my old Mobile Phone have been imported to my Bold, but it’s labeling them all as “Work” contacts, which isn’t true.
How can I manipulate these numbers easily on my Mac computer? I downloaded Blackberry Desktop Manager for Mac and have backed up the contacts (as a bbb file, I think). But still finding it difficult to actually see the phone numbers and manipulate them on my computer.

The predictive text has learnt many incorrect words.
I did a factory reset a week back but the words are back since ICS features a backup of the system to my Google Account.
When I used swipe with my s4, backspace would delete the full word after a swipe.. can I make my lg do this? It sucks having to backspace 5x to delete a mis-swyped word.
I'm mute & 1 handed, so i talk with my phone.. It isn't fun having to sit there pressing backspace 9x instead of 1x then just reswyping. I like the in-house keyboard because of the 1 handed option- it is very nice.. but, if this can't be done with the stock keyboard, I guess I'll have to use the full size google kb...

View 6 Replies View RelatedFor the past 3 or 4 weeks mine and some of my friends have been noticing problems with iMessage. We will send an imessage and either it will not send, or it will claim that it was delivered when in fact it was not. These messages do eventually get through, but normally seem to come through at 4-5am which is incredibly annoying. I assume this is a problem with the apple servers, as text messages work fine. All other forms of data transfer are absolutely fine too. This is very frustrating as i purposefully got a small number of texts on my phone contract as I assumed i would be able to use imessage for all my messaging needs. I have a iPhone 4, with the latest update (5.1 i think).

Sample Pictures
I have set a folder to store pics in on my media card. After moving all the pics to that folder I go back and under the tab All Pictures those same pictures that I moved to the folder on my media card are there also. I tried to delete those but it says the pictures are in use. How do I remove the pictures from the All Pictures folder? Also is there anyway to delete the Sample Pictures?
With computers I know you should un-install programs carefully and a certain way..I was wondering with my blackberry, is there a deifference weather I delete an App using my device, or using the Desktop Manager? Is one safer in the long run?

I used to be able to delete, but now am unable to. Did batt. pull already and restart. Same problem. View 4 Replies View RelatedI've tried to research this elsewhere for a couple of days but haven't got Blackberry Bold 9700 is the phone, and I have hooked up to my outlook account using pop3 account because direct into exchange server is not an option. I get emails and can send emails, no problem. If I delete emails from BB, they delete in outlook BUT not the other way round. So if I delete emails in outlook they do not delete from my phone.
I DON'T run cache exchange mode on outlook, and therefore the emails I read on my outlook are not on a local pst folder. I have enabled wireless reconcile Having recently moved from HTC (using Windows Mobile 6.1 which works a dream with outlook obviously) to BB I am terrified I have tied myself into 2 years of hell,

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an unlocked Bold 9700 running OS 5 that I used briefly with an international SIM card service from the UK, and then abroad with a totally different provider (on a corporate enterprise plan). I recently re-established residence in the US and am allowing my son to use the BB for now. We have a new SIM from AT&T that has never had a BB account provisioned on it. I did a full security wipe on the phone. The phone is still receiving mail from a yahoo.com account. When I go to Setup -> Personal Email Setup and then click "back" (so as not to set up a new account) I get a message "An email address does not currently exist for your Blackberry device" -- and yet I am still receiving messages on the yahoo.com account and can reply, check out folders, etc. When I check the Service Books, there is no listing for any service book associated with the email account; indeed, no CMIME listing at all.How can I remove email access to the yahoo.com account from this phone? How in the world is it still receiving emails?

I have replace the last 4 digits of my cell phone number with ****. I only use the regular VM and want to stop VVM from running in the background on my 9700 and want to delete it!
I just got my new Bold 9700 and the included 2 GB memory card is showing up as almost full. Through Media Manager I see the culprit is a bunch of backup files, including a file called ArcNB.NBZ (this file alone is 1.5 GB). Anyone know why this is on here? Can I safely delete it along with other backup files?
