For those of you that already have the iphone 4, how much space the HD videos taking up?
View 8 Replies View RelatedHow do I delete the 1,000 photos on my iphone 4S, but keep them to my computer? I want to start fresh with photos on my iphone and ipad. Remember that I don't want to lose these photos at all, just taking them off my devices. Please help me with that. Thanks:)

I use an Iphone 4. My problem is I have only 87 Apps on my phone and its showing I am using 2.1 GB of space. My biggest program is 58 MB and most are well below that.
Does the Iphone keep deleted applications on the phone after they are deleted?
Does it put a lot of "temp files" in the applications area?

There are 33 photos on my iPhone, why do they take up 1.3GB of space? It is killing the free space on my iPhone 5s. I've put the majority of my previous photos on my macbook pro, so the 33 are just recent photos and short videos (all less than a minute). Solutions?

So I have been running out of space on my iPhone and I have been doing the suggestions online said, and when I checked all the apps on my iPhone, my phone said the App Store was taking 1.3 GB of space on my iPhone. I've done searches and no one has mentioned this issue yet. Is there anything I can do to the App Store so it takes up less space? I plan to use the main ideas to get more space on my phone, but the biggest hog is the App Store...
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using the default iCloud storage plan. Since this is only 5GB, I don't back up anything but WhatsApp besides contacts, mail and notes. I don't even have Photo Stream enabled. WhatsApp only takes up 1.3 GB, and I regularly delete redundant notes and keep my iCloud inbox completely clean (by forwarding emails to my other accounts), which would mean that my contacts take up around 3GB. This is impossible as I have only 100+ contacts and don't sync them with my Facebook contacts.Â
What's even weirder is that the iCloud usage tab tells me that there is 703 MB available of 5.0 GB on iCloud, but is unable to back up my phone due to needing an extra 3.9 GB of storage.how I could manage my iCloud storage more effectively.

I delete my text messages and afterwords they are still taking up the same amount of space when I check my usage on my phone. I have turned of spotlight search, synced to iTunes and none of that has worked.

I was wondering if the new iCloud features will allow me to store my photos on the server instead of on my phone. Â
By now, many of us must have an excessive amount of photos on our devices. It would be nice if I could 'archive' or 'keep on server' my photos from 2010 that I rarely access... but still have the ability to download them if I were so inclined. I am using GB upon GB in pictures and have no space for movies and music at this point.Â
Is anything like this possible? what about with iOS 8 and the new iCloud features?Â
I know if I create a stream it gives me the ability to download the whole thing.Â

I have a Nokia XpressMusic and I bought a memory card with (allegedly) 1.9 GB of storage, yet the card runs out of space when I use up a small percentage of space. I have formatted the thing, but still no joy.
View 4 Replies View Relatedso i got ovi maps working fine with my 5800 but on a couple of occasions it has failed but downloaded the maps.just wondering if the map loader stores map data on the hard drive temporarily? as i have noticed like 6 gb of space gone if so does anyone know where it might be?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThis is about the storage on my 16GB iPhone 4S. iOS 5.1 if that makes a difference. My phone is full, and I've been deleting pictures and apps to free it up. However, a big chunk of space is lost to the "Other" category. 2 gigs to be exact. I have tried deleting the cache/cookies/history on Safari, it removed 0.07 gb. So I have two questions, First of all, what is this 2 gigs of space for "other" being used for? I have no tabs open on safari, and as I said, I cleared all temporary files. I also do not have a significant amount of calendar entires, 10 at the max. I have heard that it is the iOS, but my 16 gig iPhone shows up as 13.8 gig on iTunes, so I would assume that the missing 2.2 gig would be lost to the iOS, no? And second, how can I recover this space? I have heard restoring, but what kind of restore in specific? Can it be from backup, or must it be fully reset to new? I do not want to lose my text messages, so I'd rather not set up as new. Or is there another option?

My iPhone says not enough free space to download an app but there is enough free space.....
Info:

using an app tells you to "free up space on your device to continue" but you have already verified there is enough space on your device than needed by the app (17 gigs free).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have 2.7 GB of space in "other" which puts me over my limit for storage. I have done a restore with no luck. I have nothing to be synced with my phone. I have tried unchecking "open ituens when this iphone is connected" and checking it again but that didnt work either. I didnt have this much "other" until yesterday when i got errors about backups being corrupted. I thought the restore would fix that.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a JB'd 3GS 32GB (via Blackra1n) and it's been perfect for a while now.All of a sudden yesterday I added a few tracks and this morning I get a message that there is no space available. There was 9GB of free space available the day before today. I went into the "about" area and it says 0 bytes available?
Any way to restore back my space? I don't really want to re-jail break it, it's too customized.
Just wondering how much of the HD video content can be stored on the iPhone 4. It will be interesting to see, once you have all your music and media content how much actual HD video can be captured, edited, etc.?

I recently transfered my entire itunes library from my old desktop to my new laptop. Nothing has changed, still the same amount of songs and apps. I have authorised this laptop etc. I have only since added 2 albums. When i link my iphone now, it states that sync cannot be completed as it cannot hold the itunes library and an additional 13gb is needed? according to my diagram it also states i have still 6gb left? surely it should sync if only 2 albums have been added?

Yesterday I made a back up of my iPhone and then I rebooted it. Before restoring I had all my song and photos on the phone - they occupied almost the whole memory. But now I can't sync my music beacuse it says the isn't space enough: it needs 2 gb!
