Doing some iPhone clean up this morning and noticed that the Flipboard app, one that I love, uses 1.2Gb of space on the Iphone. Is that right? Seems massive for a feeder app.
I got the Lollipop update last night and my only complaint - thus far - is that *&$^%&% Flipboard has reappeared and I can't delete it,. The icon is on my Apps tray and if I grab it like I'd do with anything else there's no trashcan icon.
So flipboard locks itself on the home screen and I cannotbe deleted from my knowledge. Is there a way to delete this? I would like to use every inch of my phones screen real estate.
I have a Nokia XpressMusic and I bought a memory card with (allegedly) 1.9 GB of storage, yet the card runs out of space when I use up a small percentage of space. I have formatted the thing, but still no joy.
using an app tells you to "free up space on your device to continue" but you have already verified there is enough space on your device than needed by the app (17 gigs free).
I have 2.7 GB of space in "other" which puts me over my limit for storage. I have done a restore with no luck. I have nothing to be synced with my phone. I have tried unchecking "open ituens when this iphone is connected" and checking it again but that didnt work either. I didnt have this much "other" until yesterday when i got errors about backups being corrupted. I thought the restore would fix that.
I have a JB'd 3GS 32GB (via Blackra1n) and it's been perfect for a while now.All of a sudden yesterday I added a few tracks and this morning I get a message that there is no space available. There was 9GB of free space available the day before today. I went into the "about" area and it says 0 bytes available?
Any way to restore back my space? I don't really want to re-jail break it, it's too customized.
Just wondering how much of the HD video content can be stored on the iPhone 4. It will be interesting to see, once you have all your music and media content how much actual HD video can be captured, edited, etc.?
I tried to download the garageband update v. 1.2 on my iphone 4s, but i only got a message that says I don't have enough free space.I tried to reinstall the app, but no luck. The app is about 800mb and i have about 1,5gb left on the phone.
I recently transfered my entire itunes library from my old desktop to my new laptop. Nothing has changed, still the same amount of songs and apps. I have authorised this laptop etc. I have only since added 2 albums. When i link my iphone now, it states that sync cannot be completed as it cannot hold the itunes library and an additional 13gb is needed? according to my diagram it also states i have still 6gb left? surely it should sync if only 2 albums have been added?
I have exactly the same thing on my new iPhone 4S as on my old iPhone 3, but I keep getting the "not enough space to take photo" message on my new phone. I used to be able to take upwards of 30... What is different?Â
I have deleted all messages and extra backups, but it did not decrease the "Other" section on the storage use icon/bar.
I have a IPhone 4S running IOS 7.1.2. I want to upgrade to IOS 8.1.1. I have 2 GB of free space. I have 9GB of "other" space used. How do I determine what "other" is and how do I delete some of it to make room to upgrade?
My phone is 8gb and i only have about 200 pictures and not much messages and it comes up facebook app takes up most space in my phone because its 2GB? But on my brothers phone it isnt as much..
Yesterday I made a back up of my iPhone and then I rebooted it. Before restoring I had all my song and photos on the phone - they occupied almost the whole memory. But now I can't sync my music beacuse it says the isn't space enough: it needs 2 gb!
I have a iphone 5 IOS 8.1.1 and I don't know how to free up memory. I have tried erasing individual messages, but no change in the memory ratio... what to do...
This is really just a rant and will probably end up closed. Just annoyed. Is it just my phone? Why does the virtual key space seem to be bigger for the N than for the M? Why doesn't the phone auto-correct ne to me? Is "ne" even a word?
I have an IPhone 4 16gb and I have about 4000 itunes songs. Do you know roughly how many songs I can fit on there at 128kbps setting. I have Zero videos on it btw, just songs.
i am having with my 3G[S]. I have 277mb of free space and im trying to download a couple games/apps. And when I go to download a game or something it claims I do not have enough free space. I know the game is only like 90mb, and i have 277 free. So why is it saying I dont have enough space and that I should start removing apps and photos and what not?
How do I delete the 1,000 photos on my iphone 4S, but keep them to my computer? I want to start fresh with photos on my iphone and ipad. Remember that I don't want to lose these photos at all, just taking them off my devices. Please help me with that. Thanks:)
my iPhone 4s keeps showing more space being used for photos than i have -
i have deleted cache folders, unselect and reselect in iTunes I read one post where they said keep syncing and in a couple days it would correct itself, that hasnt happened. I have see others have the same issue but no solution and nothing appears to work my iPhone still shows 6.5 gig use of photos when i only have the camera roll listed
