I can't find an option to add words to my personal dictionary. When I tap an underlined word, it just shows more word options. I've even gone to language and input in the settings tab; the option isn't available there either.

Its been a great **bleep** on my earlier E63 and I naturally wanted it on my E72 However I noticed that there are words being added (by my keyboard mistakes) that DO NOT APPEAR in the custom dictionary.For example I managed to add [URL] to my dictionary? is there any other way to blast the custom dictionary?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a HTC One X with a large personal dictionary that I'd like to keep. I have backed it up and transferred it to my current M8 phone via Bluetooth. The file is: PersonalDictionary.htcudb.
When I select Restore from storage card it doesn't do anything. The file is in the root part of the SD card and not in a folder/sub-folder.
So I like that my phone underlines incorrect words, but I like the corrections that my SwiftKey keyboard does over this list that pops us when I click on a red underlined word. It usually blocks the option that I was to pick off my keyboard. So is there anyway to turn off that list from showing up but still have misspelled words underlined?

When i first went through the setup wizard i had the two options one for the enterprise and the other for personal use. I did not fill in my details so i left it at that moment to check out the other features on the phone. But the second time i came round to it, it only gave me the enterprise option which i dont want. Just wondering how i can get that option back. Also i cannot seem to be able to get blackberry apps or windows live messenger, although my blackberry messenger is working fine. please can someone help me with this?

I am trying to setup a Blackberry Enterprise Server email address on my Blackberry 8530, but I only have the option to setup a personal one in the Email Setup Wizard. I do have a black berry data plan setup, my personal email is working fine on the blackberry, but I need the enterprise option to work with my work's email. I cannot find any support to detail why this is happening.

The only option it is giving me is to use a work email with a Blackberry Enterprise Server. I have no idea what that is. All I wanna do is have my msn email address set up. When I go to Settings > General > Network I get these options: Enable 3G, Cellular Data, Cellular Data Network, Data Roaming, VPN, Wi-Fi. My friends have iphones and have a 'Personal Hotspot' option. Surely we all have the same OS since we are all on 5.1.1! How can this happen? All other forums have told me to 'Acivate Personal Hotspot' with my carrier. View 1 Replies View RelatedNot sure where to post this, but my wife and I both have the 9700. Yesterday hers quit working. The phone works and sms works.Anyways my issue is this, I am using it for personal use, but cannot send/receive pin messages, my bbm doesn't send/receive invites, and it won't let me setup a personal email.When I click on setup/email the only option available is to add an enterprise email and asks for the enterprise password.Any ideas as to why this is happening or ways around this so I can use my bbm and setup my personal emails to automatically send to my phone like I had before? Mine still works perfect. Any ideas on what needs to be done to get her email set back up and bbm working again ?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI want to setup email connection. On this 9360 I do not have any Connection Assistant so I use "setup" mode and "mail accounts" options. Usually (as on my previous Curve 8520) I used to have two options when entering there :
- Use my own email address (personal address) or create a new one
- Use my Enterprise email address
But when I launch Email setup on my curve 9360, I have only the Enterprise option so that I Cannot setup email! My 9360 runs under OS 7.
I just bought a new Torch and am unable to set up personal email (internet). I have read the postings and have doen the follwoing but to no avail:
1. Re-installed the DM
2. Reset handset
3. Updated and downgraded the softwareon the handset
4. Changed SIM Cards
5. Security wipe of email and contacts.
Unit works fine but I cannot set up my email. I do not have an enterprise server at my work so I do not need to activate it but this is the only option I ever get when trying to set up emails.
