Nokia Lumia :: 710 Facebook Chat Shows No One Online
May 22, 2012I just got a Nokia Lumia 710, but I am having problems using Facebook Chat in it ( The one integrated with messaging). I have setup windows live and facebook to connect with each other and also imported contacts from facebook into windows messenger. I have turned facebook chat on, synchronized both windows live and facebook accounts on my Lumia, but still when I go to online option in "messaging" it says "No one's online" even when there are actually friends online. It does not show a 500 error or something else, it just says no one's online and doesnt update at all. The consequence of the above is that I cant send chat messages from my phone to facebook chat.

May 16, 2010Ever since I upgraded the phone's firmware to the latest (v 20.0.080) the mobile dictionary has a weird glitch. I've attached a picture to show.
If i try to find a word from english to vietnamese, the vietnamese equivalent word will have missing letters.For example: i search "hello" and the vietnamese shows: "xin chao: bi ___ u _ l ___ s ng ___ c nhien" (the underscores "_" are the missing letters.Anyone know how to fix this? I've tried reinstalling the application, and the language pack.
I've tried a english to english search, and words don't show up missing letters. this seems to just happen to vietnamese letters.I do a simple search of a vietnamese to vietnamese. even the results show words with missing letters.
Xperia Mini/pro :: Unable To Sync Facebook Gallery (only Shows New From Friends)?
Dec 21, 2011I have an xperia mini pro (sk17i) and had no problems before regarding my gallery. In the past few days however, i dont know what i did wrong, but i suddenly could not see my facebook pictures from my mini pro's gallery. I synced a number of times but i only see the "new from friends" album but not my own gallery. Ive turned autosync on and off, restarted a number of times, signed out my account and signed in again, but nothing seems to help. there is no problem with my wifi by the way.

Jan 20, 2011for about 3 months my phone has been able to upload any picture on facebook and now whenever i try to upload a picture from my bb it'll allow me to pick it and it will upload but the whole bb freezes and the white screen comes on and says "app error: reset?" and i don't have an option but to click reset. i hate having to reset my blackberry over and over and i've even done a master reset where all my contacts pictures apps EVERYTHING got deleted in attempts to fix the problem but it won't work.

Everything works browser, txt, MMS, calls, even my weather app. Just every time I try to log into Facebook, it tells me "Could not connect because a data service is not available. Please try again later. If this continues, contact your service provider for support".I came from a Tmo BB Curve so the service was already there. I re-registered on the BB network, resent the service books from the web and from my phone, did hard re-starts, went online to My Tmobile and updated the IMEI. I uninstalled the app from the phone, performed a hard reset, then reinstalled the app from the Blackberry App Store.

Dec 12, 2014About a week ago, my iPhone 5S started acting very strange. Whenever I go into my "Messages" app, it either shows up as a blank white page or shows previous messages but the screen freezes on the page. Sometimes I am able to text but then it starts freezing again. I am unable to call anyone. My battery is drastically draining. My phone just decides to freeze randomly and will turn off by itself. When double clicking the home button to "close" apps, my phone freezes. I have tried to update to the new IOS 8.1.2, but whenever I choose the "agree" option, my phone doesn't do anything.

It feels like you really need to press down on the power button to get the shut down menu to show up.If i don't press down hard enough or right, the shut down menu shows up then it locks and the lock screen shows up. it's quite straight forward, and I don't remember having to hold down the power button for that long for it to shut down.

Nov 15, 2011I have discovered that some of my text messages are not being sent or received. Every text shows that it sends and shows a time within a few seconds. I would say I am 90% working fine, but important texts are falling through the cracks.Text messages I send with more than 160 characters auto blend into one message natively. Recipients are only receiving part #2.They never have received the first part on dozens of tries. Always the case from home and work. I'm connected to wifi at home and work. Oddly enough, I was able to disconnect from wifi and was able to send both parts of sms messages 4 out of 5 times. When i connected back to wifi, still only the 2nd part of the sms.A few of the regular sms messages that I confirmed didn't go through were more than 100 characters, but less than 160. So far, every small or low character count message has worked.
Didn't receive a couple of texts that I was able to verify were 100+ character texts. eems to be a larger message problem, but every picture I have sent has successfully gone through.Installed Go SMS tonight. Still had the issue when sending multipart texts that only text #2 came through.I spent quite a bit of time on the phone with Sprint today. We did a battery pull and he did a phone refresh remotely. I tried a test text while he was on the phone. I sent a 2 parter to my wife and it was received. I thought the problem was fixed, but the very next 2 part text only showed the 2nd part of the message. I have not been able to get a 2 parter to go through since.
